The Putnam Inn crew made the trip to Bloomington to cater my daughters wedding. They were more than willing to accommodate our request/needs in any way possible. I can not imagine how it could've been any better. The Staff was extremely professional & courteous, and the food was not only hot, but delicious. No detail was overlooked. People are still complementing on how wonderfully everything turned out. I've been to several events where other bigger, Indianapolis caterers were hired, (where I know for fact) for much more than I'd paid, and the food is always just marginal, and half the time cold. If you are looking for a way to relieve your stress level during a big event, just hire Putnam Inn for your catering needs, you won't be disappointed!

I cannot say enough great things about Putnum Inn. From our tasting, to adjusting numbers (after already turning in our final count) to the day of my daughter's wedding. The food was amazing and our guests raved about it even going as far as to say it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. The serving staff were very professional and unobtrusive. Rhonda was a joy to work with and became more like a friend than a vendor. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting amazing food at an affordable price.

The team, quality of food, options of packages, services, etc - all was outstanding! This was not only the best bang for our buck, but the ribs/chicken and all sides were beyond what we expected. Our guests were full and talk about our food to this day!

The Putnam Inn made our wedding day extra special with a super fun and delicious “Breakfast for Dinner” theme! From the biscuits and gravy, to the cheesey hash brown casserole, cinnamon rolls and more; our guests raved about our food! We had a super fun bartender for the evening, all of the staff were great! The Putnam Inn also created our wedding cake which was also perfect!

Putnam Inn was our caterer for our wedding. Everyone that was involved was professional, welcoming, and made sure everything went well. The food was amazing! Everyone did a great job serving everyone in a quick manner, cutting our wedding cake, and helping us clean up. I would recommend Rhonda and the Putnam Inn staff to anyone!

Rhonda was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and could be a "one-stop-shop" with her vast wedding resources. She really came through by dropping off tablecloths the day before and packed up leftovers herself, which had to be brought back the day after the event. Our guests loved her cooking and the chocolate fountain too!

I can’t say enough about the wonderful food and service on our wedding day. From the very beginning Rhonda was very flexible and helpful with plans for our outdoor reception. The Putnam Inn catered our wedding on the DePauw University campus. They exceeded our expectations. They set tables, added water bottles due to the warm day and had everything perfectly ready when we walked in from the ceremony. The food and appetizers were delicious and everyone loved it, compliments were abundant! They provided everything, the appetizers, meal, drinks and our bar, one stop shop. They were professional and easy to work with I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you Putnam Inn for a great day!

We LOVE the Putnam Inn! Without Rhonda, we truly could not have had the beautiful wedding we had, Rhonda was flexible with us to meet our budget while not sacrificing quality and service. The service before and day of, for our wedding was amazing. I have recommended the Putnam Inn for friends weddings and also use them constantly for catering for our events at school. They ALWAYS knock it out of the park! I can hardly begin to explain how amazing the Putnam Inn is, every single aspect of their service! And the food is soooo good! Our guests are our wedding raved about the food, how often does that happen?! Most people hardly remember the food, but it was a highlight at our wedding. We also used the Putnam Inn for our bar and they were so flexible here with our budget as well, and were able to include sangria for cocktail hour! It was so nice how we were able to do so many things with the Putnam Inn, including linens, plates and silverware. We also had a champagne toast that the staff passed around to each guest. In addition, coming from Pittsburgh we have a tradition of cookie tables, while Rhonda and her staff had never done a cookie table, they were excited and super helpful in making sure this tradition continued here for us. They helped collect the cookies and set them out for us at the wedding. Again, too many great things! They are the very best!!

That was an exact quote from one of our guests. We could not have picked a better caterer for our wedding. From the tasting to the service day of, everything was above and beyond what we had expected. Rhonda worked with us to create the perfect menu for our event, even adding in some things that aren't normally on the menu because someone had an allergy or because it was the groom's favorite side. I don't think you'll find a nicer team anywhere. The day of the wedding everything was ready to go and the staff there worked seamlessly to keep food filled and clear plates from our guests and never once did it seem like they were "in the way". The staff at our event was also very kind.
While all of that is important, I can not say enough good things about the food. I think the food may have gotten more compliments than I did, but for good reason. Everything had great taste, it is some of the best fried chicken I think I've ever had in my life.
Possibly the only thing better than the food and service (which was hard to beat) was the price. I feel that we paid an unbelievably good price for our package. We did the Let's Cookout package, and no other caterer that we looked at before finding the Putnam Inn came close to the price and value we received.
I have been recommending them to everyone, and if I am ever planning an event that needs a caterer again, I know who I am calling.
