I was nervous about having my makeup done professionally as it can sometimes be too dramatic for my taste. Maria was amazing though and reasssured me that I would still look like myself. Words cannot express how awesome Maria and her team are!! She is so sweet and patient with the interruptions that naturally occur while prepping for the big day. Her professionalism is top notch, and so is her product! My makeup was flawless all day and night, and my bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law all had equal results. Emy was so kind and did an amazing job for my sister (bridesmaid) and myself! Maria let us use the upstairs salon area for our hairstyle 'creation' and even arrived early to let us get ready an hour before Emy was to get started. I highly recommend them!

What a find! OK, to fully understand how stellar this place is you need a bit of background info.......first off I was a bride who was planning a full blown wedding in less than 6 weeks....and my fiancé was at Stanford hospital for almost 1&1/2 of those weeks! Our wedding was planned to be at our home with the expectation of about 300 guests! Now let that sink in.... That's 4&1/2 weeks. It was a long dress suit & tie semi-formal affair! Now I know not many people can pull that off, but our community is awesome and if you ask you just might receive! ......PURE MAKEUP & Maria Brandon didn't know me; but my stylist friend Melissa did and when found out I didn't have a makeup plan and noticed I had been neglecting my skin under all this stress....she sent my hiny on down to see Maria! Maria was awesome she gave me just the right treatment to brighten my skin, exfoliate and clean it! Since my wedding was only a week away at that point. She used gentle but effective treatments that improved my skin right away without causing after facial breakout. Just like anything you want to look good.... it's all about the prep work! This made for a smooth look on the wedding day. She fit me into her schedule and her shop is fun and glitzy! The atmosphere was so very welcoming I felt like royalty. Maria's airbrush makeup was beautiful- bringing out and highlighting our natural beauty, she also waterproofed us because tears at our wedding were a guaranteed outcome! I am a forever fan!
