In 2009 I founded Pure light on a deep appreciation for storytelling and a lifelong passion for photography. The ability to blend the two and create a memorable photo story is what I strive for.
I studied photography at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara and have been photographing weddings for over 20 years. I love natural, available light and have a non-intrusive style to capture fleeting moments that add up to make a wedding day special.
My biggest influences have been Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sam Abell, William Albert Allard and David Alan Harvey.
My goal is to create visually impactful photographs, provide exceptional service and establish lasting relationships with my clients.

I can only express gratitude for the wonderful service provided by Vinit with Pure Light Photography. He was able to capture our engagement photos and wedding photos perfectly. He was open minded to our engagement photos at a shooting range and was able to handle our large families when taking wedding photos. I recommend him to all friends and family!

I am thrilled Vinit was the photographer for my wedding. Even though I choose a court house wedding, he made it look so special and beautiful. He put us both at ease and captured the moment perfectly. It's great to have the casual photos, plus the staged ones. Everything about the day was perfect and Vinit was the biggest part of it!
I would recommend him to anyone who wants professional, beautiful photos with out a commercial look.

Before I chose Vinit, I compared the price and photos from two dozens of photographers. He is outstanding in catching the critical moments, which is most important for an event photographer. Throughout the wedding, he always took photos but unnoticeably. Finally, he took around 1500 photos in 4 hours. The expression of people in the photos are very natural and vivid. I believe he caught every emotional moment, both laughing and crying.
He suggested my wife and I to play basketball during the wedding, because we met on the basketball court. That turns out to be one of the most exiting things.
I would absolutely recommend him as your photographer.
