Melissa is an absolute dream come true. She did both our engagement and wedding photos. We took our engagement photos in downtown Austin and she was an expert at places to go (we were from out of town). She arrived early and had already tested shots/the lighting beforehand so we could maximize our session. She was always prompt in her communication and delivered final photos in the expected timeframe. Our wedding was in July 2020 during COVID-19 and her flexibility was unmatched. She worked with us on new dates, locations and travel all while guidelines were constantly changing. She was able to photograph both our welcome dinner and wedding day. Similar to our engagement photos, she was prompt, organized and energetic. So many of our guests commented on how lovely she was and fit right in. Our photos turned out better than we could have expected and perfectly captured our wedding weekend.

Can’t recommend Melissa Glynn enough! She was such a pleasure with have on our wedding day capturing all our important moments. She arrived on time (if not a little early) and was able to photograph the flat lays and details while I was still getting hair and makeup done. Was able to photograph me getting into my dress and then made her way to the venue to photograph the space and the groom & groomsmen getting ready all before the ceremony started. She was quick and efficient during family photos making them easy and not overly time consuming. We can’t wait to see our photos!!

​If you're reading this to decide if you should hire Melissa - do yourself a favor and pull the trigger because you will not find a better photographer. Melissa is a friggin genius and made the most amazing shots with all of her little tricks. We first worked with Melissa for our engagement pictures last year. I recently married the love of my life. For preparations leading up to this important day, I didn’t have much input. Like most grooms, I basically let her plan almost everything and I just showed up. On the most important day of my life I can truly say that I was very impressed with a few of the vendors and others, not so much. Melissa was incredible! She’s obviously very confident and has the personality for her trade. Everything is a time crunch, much more than we imagined, and she utilized her time very efficiently. There were moments that seemed like they were going to be disastrous. My wife almost had an emotional breakdown(rightfully so). Melissa went out of her way to comfort her. She took control and kept everything moving according to plan. The photos turned out amazing! She is a professional photographer in every aspect! Can’t thank her enough. Where do I even begin! We hired Melissa for our engagement photos and our wedding. Being in the wedding industry I’ve seen A LOT of photographers work, and when I first started sifting through photographers for my own wedding, I had about 20 on my list. This was probably the hardest decision I had to make out of all my vendors, but I’m thrilled that we chose Melissa.

First of all, our engagement photos were incredible. We went to 2 locations, had 2 outfit changes, and she spent almost 3 hours with us. We are obsessed with our photos, I don’t think I could have asked for anything better! She delivered them in about 2 weeks, which was great since we were on a time crunch to get Save The Dates out!

Now for the wedding day! About a week prior to the wedding I hired Melissa for an extra hour! So glad I did! 8 hours is plenty, but that 9 hours really allows her to have more time pre-ceremony. She also met me at the venue a week or two before the wedding to go over everything and scope out the space. She arrived early on wedding day, and started shooting almost immediately. She was on top of everything throughout the day, and throughout the wedding I had several guests come up to me and make positive comments abut her. Melissa is a true professional, and a very down-to-earth and friendly person. She even sent us 6 or 7 photos two days after the wedding, which are absolutely stunning. I am thrilled to see the rest, and I know they will be just as amazing as the work she’s already delivered to us. I am so happy with my decision to hire her, and would 100% recommend her! I do not even know where to start... I found Melissa a month before my wedding and when I saw her portfolio and her "about me" page...I instantly knew she was the one! I was so blessed that she took me on even when she already had 2 weddings booked that weekend. She showed up the day of my wedding and we instantly hit it off. I had nothing really planned out for photos and she took charge and made me feel beautiful and comfortable every step of the way. I have only seen a few preview photos but they have already blown me away!!! All I can say is I completely adored her and could not have asked for a more. One of the absolute best decisions and outcomes from our wedding was having Melissa Glynn as the photographer. I'm not kidding - I've had SO many people from my wedding ask for Melissa's contact info for their events and special moments. She was INCREDIBLE!!! Her photos are amazing (and we got a sneak peek of them less than a week after the wedding!) -- she never wasted time and always knew (because she is the best planner) what to do next -- she worked with the wedding coordinator and scheduled everything to make sure she had time for all the shots -- she never missed a moment -- she is the friendliest, nicest persion -- she has such a great personality and all of our guests who had just met her loved her as much as we did. I will ask her to shoot all of our big moments. Melissa Glynn Photography is the BEST!!

After deciding to give my groom pictures of me in a boudoir session, I looked around at several reviews of photographers in Austin. Melissa came highly recommended through a friend, and she was nice enough to meet me in person to discuss what I was looking for in my photos. From the moment we met I felt very comfortable with her. She is very down to earth, and exudes happiness as well as passion for her work. It's easy to see that her goal is to make omen feel beautiful, and wow, she sure is good at it. She was able to show me some shots from prior sessions and they were absolutely stunning. She also listened to my concerns about wanting to make sure my most flattering side was captured and my trouble spots (we all have them) were not necessarily the center of the photos. I also have no idea how to feel comfortable with a non-smiling "sexy face" and she gave me very good tips as to how to best achieve a natural look.

When it came to the day of my shoot, I was a little bit nervous, but she had music and champagne, and I was good to go. During the shoot, she was great about telling me how to change my pose to be more flattering, and during the session, she showed me some of the pictures that she was taking as she took them. This definitely gave me confidence. After the session was over I left feeling so great about myself, and when I saw the pictures, I was ecstatic. I couldn't wait to show my groom. Needless to say, he loved them, and he was so surprised he could not stop smiling. Melissa, thank you for the wonderful work that you do and for making me feel and look beautiful!!

Oh my gosh! We absolutely love our wedding pictures and so does everyone else. You two really did an amazing job. We couldn't have asked for better pictures.

As we looked through them, I laughed, got teary-eyed, and sometimes embarrassed for myself and the guests.

I am so impressed by all the images you "captured." You didn't miss anything and showed me so much more than I even knew was going on throughout the day! They depicted my memories of the day perfectly. And, I can't believe how beautiful you made me look in some of the pictures (and others, of course, I thought I looked awful). Of course Craig looked handsome in everyone picture.
