It was a pleasure working with Preston A to Z. From our initial intake call to determine expectations and alignment, to a thorough Google Doc template to ensure every moment was documented and assigned a song (as desired) in advance, to using our song list and melding it together with the perfect timing and transitions, Preston was truly a class act. He knows the roles of both DJ and sound engineer like the back of his hand, and provided great suggestions for how to make the evening go as smoothly and unobtrusively as possible (as it related to planned interruptions and announcements.) I recommend working with Preston to make any wedding and/or dance party a home run.

We are so glad to have had Preston as our wedding DJ! His questionnaire and day-of music forms made us feel like we could really customize the vibe we were going for. He set up the sound for our outdoor ceremony and reception, and everything went great. The sound was clear, even with the wind, and all the music timing was seamless. Stop what you're doing and book Preston now! We originally found Preston off one of the wedding review websites (maybe this one, can't remember) and were impressed with the reviews. We met with him once and immediately clicked with his vibes. We had a very specific vision to create a nightclub-like atmosphere with a not-so inspiring traditional wedding ballroom backdrop. From the lighting to the music details to the flow, he nailed our vision perfectly. Several of our guests told us it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to and a lot of that was in part because of him. We had a late night wedding and he kept the dance floor full all night long! I was also impressed because we had a specific mix of genres we wanted for family, some of which he admitted he wasn't the most familiar with but he nailed all of it. We're so happy with our decision to go with Preston - he's talented, professional and just an all around fun guy to work with

Preston was an amazing DJ! Music was so important to us for our wedding. It’s a big part of who we are and I personally love to dance, so we needed someone that could keep the party going with our music aesthetic, more dance remix/EDM. Preston did not disappoint! The music was so spot on for every part of the wedding and people came up to us and told us how awesome the music had been throughout. Even the staff at the venue who has worked a lot of weddings told us it was the best music they had experienced. He was able to play a wide variety of music genres. Our ceremony was all indie/folk, cocktail time was old jazz like Ella Fitzgerald/Louis Armstrong and reception was dance remix/EDM. It was PERFECT and really showcased the music we love as a couple best. He also surprised us with special lighting that made the barrels look so cool! It was so incredibly thoughtful and unexpected! Lastly, Preston was our MC too and did a great job at making sure the event kept to schedule and announced things with such class/taste. I feel like that has to be noted because I’m sure we’ve all experienced MCs that make it about them, are cheesy, etc., and I just think it’s important to point out because he was perfect. Our wedding coordinator even came up to tell us how professional and wonderful he was to work with and how he was so on top of it on our wedding day. She had never worked with him before but now he’s on her preferred vendor list!

Also, I want to note how incredible Preston was leading up to the event. Before we even booked him and were just getting quotes, he asked to schedule a call with us to get a feel for who we are, what we were looking for, etc. This felt so much more personal than just emails I received from other DJs or DJ groups that sent you a quote and a request for booking. When we chatted with him on the phone, we immediately felt like he understood us and what we wanted to achieve at our wedding. He was super responsive in all of our correspondence and a few weeks before our wedding, we even met up with him at the venue, did a walk-through with him for set-up and chatted more about what the timeline looked like, our plans, vision, etc. We really appreciated that he went out of his way to make sure he was as prepared as possible and that we felt super comfortable for our wedding day.

We cannot recommend Preston enough! Your DJ is one of the most important vendors for your wedding day and you want to ensure that you have someone you can trust and that can create the right vibe. Preston is an outstanding, professional and super talented DJ who helped bring our wedding vision to life! And one final note, Preston uses turntables too, which makes him that much cooler. ;)

If you are looking for the BEST wedding/special event DJ around, then stop your search because you have found him! Preston was our wedding DJ this fall and he could not have done a more incredible job. My husband and I absolutely loved working with him throughout our entire wedding planning process, and he made the wedding day itself so spectacular and fun!

First, Preston is kind, professional, fun, and easygoing. He was a true pleasure to work with! He also offers top-notch service at an amazing price. Not only is he an fantastic DJ, but he also provided a wonderful photo booth with lots of fun props and a beautiful, custom-designed backdrop that worked perfectly with our theme. Our guests had SO much fun in the photo booth, and Preston provided an album for the event that our guests decorated with photo strips and well wishes. It is such a special memento from our big day!

Most importantly, Preston spent a lot of time getting to know my husband and me, our musical tastes, and the “vibe” we were hoping to achieve with our wedding music experience from start to finish. The ceremony and cocktail hour playlists were beautiful and moving. As soon as the reception dance party started, Preston got the whole crowd up on the dance floor. For the rest of the night, our reception and after party dance scene was on fire! The dance floor was packed the whole time and we were all having the time of our lives. Preston has an incredible ability to “read the room” and somehow just know the perfect songs to play for the crowd. Our guests are still raving over what an incredible job he did, and so are we!

We hit the wedding DJ jackpot with Preston!!!!! With a DJ, you don't really know what you'll get until the day of.. but oh man what a pleasant surprise!!! Preston is so amazing. All of our guests (young and old) spent hours on the dance floor which is exactly what we wanted. He also played a vital role in making sure we stuck to our timeline, and any necessary announcements he made were done very professionally and flawlessly. Do yourself a favor and book him!!!

Preston was the DJ at our reception and he was AMAZING. We gave him ideas for songs and genres that we liked, and he took it from there - it was exactly what we wanted. He did a great job of mixing and fading one song into the next so there was always music playing an it flowed really naturally. He also followed the schedule we'd given him perfectly.

There was actually an issue with our venue's power source in our reception space but you would never have known - Preston handled it so professionally and didn't let it affect our music at all.

We got SO many compliments on the from everyone who attended our wedding - people told us our DJ was the best they'd ever heard at a wedding, and we have to agree!

Preston was our DJ for our 9/2/17 wedding. He is awesome, and is very receptive to all the quirky music/needs that my family and I had! He is very professional and easy to get ahold of, which is very helpful when you are in the thick of planning a wedding. He made sure everything ran smoothly, even with some last minute changes, and a delayed ceremony. I would recommend him again and again, and my parents have already told me they plan on using his services for any future events we have! Thanks Preston!

Preston is the best! If you don't hire Preston as your wedding or event Dj/ Mc you're making a big mistake. He won't disappoint! He was recommended by our amazing photographer (Allie Lindsey) And before speaking with him it seemed strange to hire someone solely off of a recommendation, but I'm sooo glad we did. After meeting him we decided that we didn't need to talk to any other djs and hired him right away. His genuine, professional, and calm demeanor made us comfortable right away.
The planning process was stress free with Preston. He was available for communication and gave prompt replies to all emails and phone calls. The day of went better than I ever could have imagined and our dj had a big part in that. He kept everything moving seamlessly and on time. I never would have guessed that our dance floor would have been packed for the entire night.... But it was!!! A lot of our guests aren't big dancers, but everyone was blown away at how much fun the dance party that Preston threw was! He got Everyone moving and groovin (Even the "non-dancers" and my 97 year old grandma)!
He did a prefect job of understanding our style and our vision of a wedding Dj/ music and keeping the party going. He doesn't just press play on a Lap top, he provides his unique style and really cool mashups/ remixes as well. We also got uplighting from Preston and it looked great! Trust me when I say that he was worth more than what he charges! My only hope is that someone I know has a wedding soon so I can recommend Preston and be a guest at another amazing night!
