I met Anji and Pete by chance after a day at the Winter Market in DC. It was cold and they let me and my friends sit with them at their fire pit spot. I noticed Anji looking at my ring, and she told me that they were wedding photographers. When my husband and I finally sat down to plan our big day, I had to reach out to them. Their work is so beautiful and fun to look at. We had a small wedding, and shot our photos at the National Gallery of Art. Anji was unfortunately sick with Covid, but Pete put in the work of two people that day. He was so nice, professional, and funny. I will recommend them any chance I get. The photos we have are so beautiful, and I know my husband and I will cherish them for decades to come. You will not regret having Anji and Pete photograph you/your event.

My husband and I reached out to Anji and Pete to photograph our private courthouse wedding. From the beginning, they were thoughtful and attentive, making sure to note our preferences and offer their own suggestions (all of which we loved!). In addition to an initial phone consultation, Anji and Pete met with us over Zoom to get further details about our style and preferences—they even asked us to choose our favorite photos from their portfolio so they could better learn our likes.

On the actual day of the wedding, Anji and Pete were easy to reach and arrived early to the courthouse. Their professionalism and preparation completely put us at ease. They photographed not only the ceremony itself, but also took photos of us at the National Portrait Gallery as well as various beautiful locations on the walk there from the courthouse.

Even though we got married at a busy time of year, Anji and Pete sent us our sneak peek photos within 24 hours of our wedding, so we could share them with loved ones while waiting for the full photo gallery.

Again, we cannot emphasize enough how great Anji and Pete are to work with. Their artistic talent shines through easily from their portfolio, but they are also truly wonderful people. We feel that we have made friends! Thank you, Anji and Pete!!

We worked with Anji and Pete for both our wedding and engagement photography and I absolutely could not be happier. As someone who gets very nervous in front of a camera, I was worried about photography. They both took the time to get to know us and to put us at ease, especially in posed situations. We wanted the photographs to feel like us: joyful, silly, colorful, and exuberant...not like a generic wedding magazine. They chose a fabulous location for the engagement shoot (gardens outside the Smithsonian castle). When I look back at our wedding pictures I see a moment-by-moment representation of an amazing day that flew by for me as the bride. Of course they captured us as bride and groom, but they also made intimate and lovely portraits of our friends and family, who were there to celebrate with us. Having those moments captured in images reminds us of the love all around us when we got married this fall. The collection of images is a treasure!

We were super happy with the job they did -- they have a photojournalistic style and are unobtrusive and did fantastic job of capturing us and our relatives. Strongly recommended! Good value too.

Anji and Pete exceeded our expectations in every way! Having interviewed other wedding photographers for weeks, we immediately felt comfortable with them. We worked with them for our engagement photoshoot, followed by our week-long Indian wedding. We told them the general look we wanted for our engagement shoot and they were able to find a location close to us. For our wedding week, they both made sure that they understood our vision for each event and knew exactly what we wanted to capture. It was most important to us that our photos looked natural and not too staged/posed. And we're so glad that we came across them because that is exactly their style. During our wedding week, they both felt more like an extension to our family/bridal party. We are very happy with all of our photos: formal portraits as well as candid shots with family and friends. 10/10 would recommend them!

Pete & Anji were everything we could ask for in wedding photographers. We wanted a smaller, more intimate wedding and they were incredibly supportive in offering expert suggestions to have our moments captured in a manner which reflected the spirit of our wedding. At the end of the day they felt like part of the family, and we are truly grateful for their support.

Anji and Pete went out of their way to make our wedding special. They are both so friendly and personable- our guests even thought we had known each other previously due to how comfortable they made my husband and I! We very awkward in front of the camera, but Anji and Pete really helped us to feel comfortable and less self-conscious. All of our photos turned out amazing! We would recommend them to anyone looking for photographers!
