Posh provided hair and makeup services for the bride, bridal party, mother of the bride, and flower girls. They did an excellent job, and were very flexible with our appointments. They stuck to the specified timeline so that we were out of the salon when we needed to be. Everyone was satisfied with their hair and makeup.

I used Posh for my wedding hair and make-up, plus my five bridesmaids' hair. I live out of state, so no trials for me, but I went to Posh as my normal hair salon when I lived in Durham, so I felt comfortable that they'd do a good job.

Lauren did my make-up - she was awesome. I explained that I didn't want to look too made-up as I wear minimal make-up most of the time. She asked questions, looked at the Pinterest photos I showed her, and explained to me all along what she was doing. In the end I looked like myself but more amazing. My make-up stayed put through summer heat and dancing - I received several compliments and would highly recommend her.

Brittney did my hair - she was also great. I showed her a few Pinterest pictures as well, and she immediately got to work. My hair looked awesome and just what I wanted.

Posh was very accommodating to our group - I booked the appointments for everyone but left it up to my girls whether they got an up-do or blow-out - Posh was happy to accommodate either (though some stylists don't do up-do's so just be aware of that if you're unsure when scheduling). We brought snacks and enjoyed our time at the salon!

I use Posh as my main hair salon so I knew that they would do a good job. They are not cheap, but they have always done a great job with my hair so I knew they were worth the price. When I went for my pre-wedding trial, I just showed the stylist a photo and she recreated it perfectly (so perfectly that I almost felt like I didn't need a trial run). They also did my mom's hair and make-up and did a fabulous job of making sure she looked natural as she almost never wears make-up. I got lots of compliments and it's always nice to be pampered (especially on your wedding day)!

I love Posh The Salon! I was very laid back with my wedding, and I didn't want a pre-wedding consultation or any special treatment (and I also didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars!). Posh was great! All of my bridesmaids booked individually and got in no problem. We all got our hair and makeup done. They even took my mom in at the last minute. My hair stylist took 3 seconds to understand what I wanted, and it was a perfect up-do! She was awesome. I did a whole lot of dancing, and my side bun up-do did not budge all night. It complimented my hair piece beautifully. The makeup was a little more than I normally wanted, but I got constant compliments and it looked so awesome in the pictures afterwards. I'm so grateful to have found Posh, and I also love the location at the Tobacco district. I highly recommend Posh if you want quality services at a reasonable price. The free drinks and alcohol also never hurt to win a person over. :)

Posh the Salon is a newer salon in downtown Durham, but they just won the 2010 best salon Indy award. I got the bridal package, which is a trial hair appointment and then hair and makeup on the day of. I also scheduled services for my mother and bridesmaids. I added a trial makeup appointment, which was only $25. I saw Melissa for makeup and Meredith for hair. Both are very sweet and VERY skilled. The trials went well, and Meredith was very patient with me even after I decided in the middle of her work that I wanted something different. The day of the wedding they had all these lovely snacks set out for our party and everything was really calm and relaxing. They have a gorgeous space in an historic brick building which is very urban but chic. My hair was so gorgeous - even my husband's friends commented to him about it. And I was SO pleased with my makeup. It stayed perfect for 14 HOURS, even in the hot sun. They use GloMinerals makeup and I'm now a convert. They also did amazing jobs with hair and makeup on my mother and bridesmaids. Everyone looked very natural with just enough glamor to suit an outdoor wedding. And we were all so relaxed! I felt truly pampered and well taken care of. Mary, one of the salon owners, deserves credit for that. She made sure it all ran smoothly and that we stayed on track with time. I highly recommend the bridal package - you will be so glad you chose to go to Posh!

My wedding hair and make-up were perfect and exactly what I wanted. Both hair and make-up lasted all day which I was nervous about because I get really hot in large groups of people! All of my bridesmaids were raving about their make-up and hair styles. My only complaint is that the hair and make-up trial costs the same as the day of and they did not nearly spend the same amount of time for the trial as they did on my wedding day. I was really nervous after the trial because I wasn't super happy with how everything looked (because they didn't spend as much time on it), but I was incredibly happy the day of with how everything turned out.
