Where to begin?! We were absolutely thrilled with Crown Paella as our wedding caterer. We knew we wanted unique, tasty wedding food that wasn't the standard wedding fare, and BOY did these guys deliver. The paella and appetizers were all incredible, the drinks were tasty, and best of all, Emily and Scott Ketterman are a joy to work with and be around.

Emily and Scott are the sweetest couple and we really enjoyed getting to know/hanging out with them at our tasting. They are both passionate about the food and it really shows. We felt like Emily became our friend throughout the planning process, which made it a real treat to have her around on the wedding day! She made sure we got to eat all of the appetizers and made sure both of us had drinks in hand. Emily also went far and above her job description when we had some trouble with another vendor. She took over the situation and made sure it was handled -- all the while making sure that I was doing okay in the process. We seriously love her.

The food itself was astounding. Our guests (and my husband and I!) still can't stop talking about it a month later! The delicious smell of the paella cooking during cocktail hour, then the fun presentation, really added to the ambiance. and was exactly what we wanted out of our wedding food :) Of course, the signature drinks were also delicious!

If we ever host a big party again, we will 100% come to Crown Paella for our catering needs. They're the best of the best.

I had to move my wedding from Albuquerque to Portland area after moving (yes lost ALL of our deposits), and was pretty stressed out. I immediately started researching caterers in the area, and wasn't getting many responses. The owners responded to me immediately and were sympathetic to my stress levels and situation. The wedding move cut the guest list in half, so I was afraid no one would cater our wedding of 35 (had been shot down by a couple bakeries already). The owners here couldn't have been more amazing and flexible. Their food is amazing and personable; we felt like people instead of a "job". Thank you Portland Paella Project! Portland brides, you will not be disappointed if you go with PPP.

Janna and Pierce made catering our wedding extremely straight-forward and created two beautiful pans of paella (one traditional and one veggie). It all tasted fantastic and we have had a ton of guests remark about how much they enjoyed it. I recommend them many times over!Thanks again!!!
