Restaurant Wedding Venues in Portland

I thought about having a wedding here since the first time I walked in - it has amazing decor, barely needs any additional decorations at all, the food is great, and has a great feel. We met with Jessica to plan out the details, and other than sometimes having to wait a few days for a response, she was amazing to work with (she never took too long to keep things moving at the necessary speed). Everything went smoothly, but the thing worth mentioning is that the food was hands down the best wedding food I've ever had in my life - and I heard this from tons of people at the wedding. People are still talking to me about it. It was done family style, so as soon as people arrived food started coming out to the tables, and just kept coming - no buffet lines, no waiting for individual plates to be set down - and was more price friendly than buffet or plated as well. They worked hard to keep us right at the minimum, but somehow we still had an amazing open bar with signature cocktails. The staff was friendly and attentive, and helped us have a great time! The only slight issue was that the sound system wasn't great - but the venue isn't set up to be very acoustics-friendly, so even with a good sound system it might not have been the best. That being said, we didn't have to bring our own sound system, mic, dance floor, or anything like that - they provided pretty much everything, and made the reception the easiest part of my wedding to plan. And I feel like I need to emphasize one more time how incredibly good the food was. And for the detail-minded, it was a 130 person wedding but we could have had up to 150 at the Picnic House.

Noho and his team really knocked it out of the park for our wedding! My husband grew up on Maui so having Hawaiian food for our wedding was a must and Noho's food is the best in Portland! The venue was essentially in the middle of nowhere with nothing but a small prep kitchen and everything was perfect! His team was super pro and essentially ran the whole wedding alongside our planner. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious filling Hawaiian food!

Amazing Food...very professional and delivered an over the top party. All my guest raved about the delicious food and friendly staff. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family. Al Amirs and Joseph provided food, drinks, staff and even helped coordinate desserts and DJ set up. My day would have not been the same without them!

Matt and Elephants Deli were great to work with. He was very responsive to e-mails and made a special appointment so that my family could come down for a tasting. He helped us make great choices for the buffet while also staying within our budget. On our wedding day, the Elephants staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Everyone commented on the food and how delicious it was. I would highly recommend Elephants Deli to cater your wedding.

We wanted an intimate setting and originally this was going to be the reception destination after our court house wedding. The staff was very flexible when we asked if we could get married in the barrel room as well as have a reception. They flipped the room after the ceromony quickly and provided great service throughout the day. The room could fit up to 30 people and we had 23 guests. If you’re looking for some traditional wedding elements this wouldn’t be the venue for you. They made it clear they were not a wedding venue so we definitely had limitations. Limitations related to decorations, flowers and bubbles. Overall an amazing experience in a wonderful day!

Amazing food, amazing customer service. All of our guests were very impressed by the food!

Chart house was the perfect location for our Elopement dinner. We had a small intimate party and the service and food were just perfect.

We had a small our wedding at our house, and it seemed that the best option for our group of 28 was to leave the house directly after the ceremony and go to a nearby restaurant. We chose McCormick and Schmick's Fish House and Bar because 1) it's a very quick drive from our house, 2) it's upscale, 3) the food is amazing, and 4) they have a private banquet room for parties. I booked the date very early on the previous year, and when by three weeks before the big day, Beverly, the Manager/Events Coordinator, called me to get a feel for what she needed to plan. We decided to meet with her at the restaurant later in the week. We were very happy with the banquet room (very gorgeous wood-paneling, great white linens, and huge windows overlooking a patio that our party was welcome to enjoy), and we were happy with her willingness to tweak a few items on the menu for us. She wanted to know our wedding colors and spoke with us about her ideas for decorating the room, and we really liked that attention to detail on her part. On the big night, the entire restaurant was packed and the two servers working with us in the banquet room were constantly running. The food was absolutely amazingly good! Everyone raved about their entree choices and quite a few people got their food wrapped up because there was so much of it. The manager came out and introduced herself and ensured we were well taken care of. The staff did a great job looking after all of us and we highly recommend McCormick and Schmick's to anyone who is seeking a great place to have a small, quiet, and understated wedding reception.

Wonderful experience, and the best city view too. Sunday brunch is among the best I have ever seen. You must try it to believe it!!

The team at Bluehour was truly amazing for our wedding. They went above and beyond our expectations and made the night so special. Plus the food was amazing, of course. We, as bride and groom, were even served larger portions than everyone else in beautiful dishes to make our meal extra special. Planning was a breeze and everyone was so kind to us the whole time. We could not have been more pleased!
