Amazing food, amazing customer service. All of our guests were very impressed by the food!

First of all, Papa G's has great food, and Grant is a super great guy - fun, easy to talk to, great to work with. I think they're fairly new to wedding catering, and there are a few things that will improve over time. We struggled to get a clear picture of what we were getting, and on the day, we had less of some foods than we'd anticipated (we used them for food and non-alcoholic drinks). That said, they did provide more than enough compostable dishes and the food was awesome- several people commented on how great and unusual it was, and everyone liked it - since we have vegan and non-vegan family, that's pretty great praise.

I imagine the kinks will work out as they do more and more weddings. I'd absolutely recommend this vendor - just be assertive about exactly what your expectations are, and make sure you get the details in writing. We weren't able to have someone there to check in with them as they were setting up, which probably would have solved the problem we had. Have someone designated on your wedding day to be there to check everything in.... but if you want awesome local food from good folks, these guys are great.
