Pompeii catered our rehearsal dinner and it was wonderful! They were easy to communicate with prior to the event and were able to take requests including accommodating people who eat vegan or gluten free. The pizza was wonderful and we got a lot of compliments! The staff for our event were so sweet and helpful throughout the entire evening!

We had Pompeii Wood Fired Pizza cater our wedding reception. Dawnelle was great to work with in the planning stage. She was very helpful and knowledgeable when we were deciding what type of pizza and salads we would need for our guests. Pompeii also provided gluten-free pizza crust and vegetarian/vegan options for pizzas and salads. They keep the pizzas coming out of the ovens in a very consistent pace to keep food on the tables to feed the guests. On the day of the reception they were so flexible regarding where to park the Wood Fired Ovens and setup their canopies when there needed to be a change in location. My reception coordinator find them wonderful to work with and give them a review of 5 stars on Yelp. In the weeks following the reception I have asked my guests how they liked the pizza, every single one of them said it was delicious! Thank you Pompeii for making our reception meal a fabulous one!!

We had Pompeii Pizza for our wedding and it was a hit! The guest loved it, I (the bride) loved it, everyone loved it, and there really wasn't much left over to take home after the wedding.

Working with them was so simple and stress free, something I was really grateful for, and they were really flexible with my wishy-washy wedding planning skills. When setting the pizza up at the wedding they were in the perfect spot (easy access, but not the center of attention) and the staff was amazing. Everything turned out perfect :-)

Pompeii Wood Fired Pizza was the perfect caterer for our reception. We held the gathering for over 100 people at a venue that allowed people to gather in several locations. Pompeii set up a tent that added excitement and anticipation, our guests looked forward to a wonderful lunch and were not let down; the pizza and salads were clever, perfectly made and tasty. The company was terrific to work with straightforward in business dealings and flexible when numbers changed, we needed gluten free pizzas and insuring that the service was just right at the event. Dawnelle offered suggestions of what to serve and how it might work to serve and she was right on the mark. My advice is to hire Pompeii and listen to Dawnelle, she is organized and knew just how to work with our differing wishes! Our reception was lovely, our friends are still talking about it months later!

Absolutely wonderful service. My husband and I had 225 people for an outdoor wedding on the back lawn of a home in central Seattle. From our first interaction with Pompeii when we tasted at a farmers market at Volunteer Park to the actual ceremony itself -- it all went perfectly well. Great price. Great service. Very flexible and adaptable to changing needs. We were very happy! Highly recommended.

Pompeii was awesome. We went to the Issaquah Farmers Market to taste test, and the two people were so helpful and nice. The whole pizza setup seemed more original than a buffet or plated. Personally, I was sick weddings with buffets full of lukewarm food.

The day of the wedding went smoothly. We had 4 different pizzas, and because it was so hot outside, we supplemented with a ton of salad and fruit.

Pompeii brought tables and tablecloths, and while we rented dishes, silverware, and napkins, Pompeii brought paper plates and napkins, as well (just in case).

Pompeii also sent us home with 5 extra pizzas - two cooked and three uncooked so we could cook at our leisure.

PS - I have to add that the pizza photographed beautifully. I know that's weird to say, but it looks awesome in photos.

We knew we wanted pizza for our wedding and were so happy Pompeii was willing to travel to our venue. We had two salad options and five pizza options, but when we saw the menu we wanted all of them. The food was delicious and our guests really enjoyed it. Everything was on time, they kept the buffet table stocked and made accommodations for a couple family members with food allergies. They even sent us home with a half and half pizza with our two favorite kinds. Overall, they were really easy to work with and the food was great!

Everyone was thrilled with the quality of the food and the uniqueness of having an actual oven there for cooking.

This is a completely mobile pizza caterer. While the food was to die for and the best pizza I have ever had and the owner was easy to work with, we did have some hiccups. Our contract said there would be two pizza ovens at the venue the day of the wedding to feed 175 people, the caterer only showed up with one. We were also charged for additional staff due to the size of our guest list yet the caterer left to another event before dinner with only one person to cook and serve the pizza. When the bridal party got up to eat, my husband and I saw no food on the buffet table. Luckily a groomsmen handed us a tray of pizza for us to eat. It took about two hours to serve everyone dinner. The owner even asked the father of the groom to start cooking, thinking he was one of her employees. I would recommend this caterer only to those who are having a very small wedding, but it IS great food! They usually do things like wine tastings with a much smaller number of guests. I think 175 was just too stressful for them.

Pompeii was really hard to work with. The communication was so poor that I really wasn't sure if anyone was going to show up on the day of our event. The fruit and cheese platter was a disappointment. The cheese was sliced deli cheese- not an artisan cheese I was hoping for. The pizza was good- but overall- not worth the trouble of communication.
