A wedding is based on love. The love that the two of you have created together. Pledging My Love is based on love. This was born out of the love between my husband and me. Our love was stronger than any love I had ever known in my life. My goal is to find your love story, and a wedding is the step in building your forever love story. It starts with you, the bride and groom, publicly saying to the world, you are FOREVER My Love.
So, a little about me. I am a retired Army nurse who was commissioned into the US Army in 2005 and served 18 years for my country. Three tours of duty to Iraq, Mosul, Balad, and Al Asad helped build the nurse I am today. I recently retired and wanted to move away from nursing into officiating weddings. I had done this previously in Texas, but had not decided to make this my new career. Once I made this decision, I received my Ordination, thereby, providing a wider opportunity in my service, including incorporating a blessing over the rings, the newlywed couple, or even the blessing before dinner.
Pledging My Love was born from love. It was the first song my husband played for me when he first asked me out. Or formerly known as corting. He would later say he knew I would be his wife at first glance. You see, my husband, Keith, was a fan of Elvis Presley. I would even go as far as to call him an Elvis expert. Not only was the song Pledging My Love the first song he ever played to me, but it was also the song for our first dance on the day of our wedding when two became one.
In 2022, my life changed forever when I lost my beloved Keith unexpectedly and suddenly. Four years later, I am still healing. But I know that I was truly loved, beyond the boundaries of death. Our love still lives, forever in my heart. I knew, when I was told to have a business name, there was no question what it would be. Thus, Pledging My Love was born.
