Pilar Pava Events is a full-service wedding and special events company based in Miami, Florida. Led by founder Pilar Pava, this talented team of planners and designers is devoted to making your wedding planning experience seamless and enjoyable. Pilar Pava Events knows how to craft a unique event that aligns with your vision, budget, and aesthetic, from small details to day-of logistics and vendor relationships.

Experience

After serving as an in-house events director with several prestigious organizations, owner Pilar Pava built her business with the purpose to plan, implement, and produce events that meet the objectives of every client. She built a solid foundation while managing and producing large- and small-scale events. Pilar can confidently ensure that your wedding day will run smoothly from beginning to end with an eye for details, exceptional organizational skills, and contract negotiations.

Services Offered

Pilar Pava Events provides event planning services for wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, private parties, and corporate events in South Florida. Pilar and her experienced team will listen carefully to your needs and thoroughly explain the various packages offered during your initial consultation. Wedding planning duties performed by Pilar Pava Events include the following:

Event Management

  • Provide complete event day management and coordination to ensure timely starts, successful and total set-up of each vendor as outlined in contracts, full guest coordination, guidance, etc
  • Create floor plans
  • Registration, table cards placement (if needed)
  • Manage the rehearsal
  • Oversee site set-up and breakdowns
  • Schedule and oversee production run through (testing all lighting, sound checks, and video content)
  • Coordinate song cues and line up for wedding ceremony and reception
  • Assist with positioning pre-discussed inventory for all events

Vendor Management

  • Oversee load in and set up of each vendor for wedding day
  • Reconfirm any changes to the agenda for each event
  • Assist with mini-walk through for all vendors (as needed)
  • Confirm food presentation is in order
  • Distribute any last-minute payments and gratuities to vendors (as needed)

Family & Wedding Party Management

  • Ensure Bride, Groom and Families are given five-star level of service
  • Making sure that the wedding party is on time and in the right places
  • Provide individual staff members for Bride and Family/Groom
  • Ensure bridal suite is refreshed on reception evening
  • Coordinate in room food deliveries as needed for Bride and Groom
  • Assist photographer and videographer teams in capturing all components of the wedding weekend

Guest Management

  • Greet and direct guests upon arrival for each event
  • Provide exceptional hospitality to all guests attending
  • Provide staff members to oversee and assist with capturing all post-ceremony family photos
  • Review detailed schedule and timeline with the client in advance for final approval

Day-of-Wedding Coordination

Our questions and attention to detail ensure the wedding you've been dreaming of for months is carried out as planned. You've sent the invites, secured your vendors, and puzzled together the details. We will put the final touches on your wedding day to ensure you haven't missed a thing. In the last two weeks before your wedding, we will gather pertinent information to create an in-depth production schedule, double-check your logistics, review contracts and finalize the details. We will manage your ceremony rehearsal and be on-site to coordinate vendors, wedding party and guests on your wedding day. You can be confident your vision will come to life while you enjoy every minute of your wedding day.


Vendor coordination: oversee, manage and set up from the moment your first vendors arrive, and we are the main point of contact, so you don't need to worry about what is happening behind the scenes.

Above and Beyond! HIGHLY Recommend!

I was absolutely DREADING the thought of having to put together a wedding. I was someone who did not go on Pinterest or have any idea what the first step in planning a wedding was. I knew that if I did this on my own, the wedding and reception would fall very short of being a perfect day. I needed a wedding planner. I did a lot of research online and reached out to a plethora event planners. Pilar got back to me almost IMMEDIATELY and I instantly felt at ease speaking with her. Because of her responsiveness, there was no other option in my mind…Pilar was going to help me with my wedding.
Pilar is more than just a planner; she is your best friend. Pilar is there for you every step of the way and provides creative ideas for you and your guests while remaining within your budget. She is honest in everything that she does and always has her client at the front of her mind. The attention she provides you is second to none and she makes you feel as though your event is the only event she is planning…she gives you a sense of importance! Pilar truly takes the time to know and understand her clients so that she can showcase their personalities in the best way possible. I am not decisive, creative, or someone that knows what they want…but holy cow…Pilar was able to figure out exactly what I wanted. She is the best!!!

Pilar was able to negotiate pricing with our vendors and saved us a lot of money. It was great having someone who knows the industry so well and can make sure vendors are not overcharging you (as they are known to do in this industry).

Pilar’s expertise is priceless and I would recommend her one thousand times over! She is the absolute best!!!!!

The best decision!

Pilar was a pleasure to work with and helped make our day so smooth. You can trust her to get the job done! She is extremely organized, responsive, and professional. From our initial phone call I could tell she was very detail oriented and hard working. We were considering hiring her for full planning services and I appreciated her honesty in telling us since we'd already booked a couple vendors we'd be better off with a day of package. She was very helpful for random questions that came up throughout the process and met with us a couple weeks before the wedding to ensure a smooth transition. Her pricing was extremely reasonable, especially for the Miami area. I was truly able to sit back and enjoy the day thanks to Pilar. Can't recommend her enough!

Amazing Planner

I was silly and thought I only needed a planner for the day. I ended up needing Pilar throughout the entire process. She was extremely professional and responsive. Every vendor she recommended was amazing and top notch. She kept us on track and even got my stuff together at the end of the night. Our day was beautiful and perfect!
