I wish I had more time and energy to write this review properly but as I just put my 10 month old to bed, here it goes! Kathryn is such a warm and caring person, she really listens to you and your vision. As a bride who was overwhelmed and had serious decision fatigue she gently guided while keeping it true to me and my now husband. She took incredible detail photos that did feel overly staged but felt natural and cohesive as well as beautiful. Kathryn’s warm and bubbly personality puts you at ease and really makes you feel comfortable and allows her to catch wonderful authentic feeling moments (even in the posed positions!) She is able to both fade into the background so it feels like it’s just you and your spouse and then kindly command a giant unruly family! Kathryn is one of the easiest vendors I have ever worked with! She is prompt and communicates clearly and quickly. All this to say my photos are STUNNING! They so perfectly capture the feeling of day all while being artistically gorgeous! Everyone looks good in every picture it’s amazing, and I feel truly like a beautiful bride. My husband and I love Kathryn’s work so much we just had our family photos done this fall and again incredible work! We will continue to use Kathryn for the foreseeable future and you should too!

Hiring Kathryn Tay was one of the highlights of my wedding overall! 10/10 recommend. Kathryn, first off, is a delightful person. She was kind and patient with me, she has a great sense of humor, which made planning with her very fun. And probably most importantly, she's clearly an experienced professional. I trusted Kathryn completely. When you are planning your first wedding, it's your first time planning a wedding! And who even knows what they are doing?! It's a pretty wild experience and you learn so much as you go. One thing I loved about working with Kathryn is that this one thing--the photos--were something I didn't have to worry about, because I knew Kathryn was totally on top of it and would be my guide in getting a wide array of formal, posed and candid shots. I had 2-3 phone/video meetings with Kathryn leading up to our wedding. She is efficient and organized, and she really helped US figure out how our day would unfold by offering her industry experience about the shots we definitely want to have, who to include and when, in a way that gave us the most quality time in each phase of the event. On the day of, I honestly barely even noticed that Kathryn was there - no offense Kay Tay. What I mean is that she offered us space when we needed it, she was there for each moment but not "in the way" and it felt very natural. She was professional and organized every step of the way. She got our formal photos done in about 15 minutes so my husband and I could enjoy cocktail hour with our guests (this was a great idea! would do again!). Now that we've had a chance to see all of the beautiful photos Kathryn took, I am so happy with the moments she was able to capture. It really is like getting to go back to that day. There is one really beautiful photo of my mom & my husband's mom greeting/congratulating each other--Kathryn really did "capture the moment" in this one. She also did an amazing job touching up and editing the photos--I'd especially mention her wonderful use of light, and whatever special magic she used to get the colors so rich and vibrant. I could go on (and on) but I'm sure you have more reviews to read so let me just say, if Kathryn Tay's photo style matches your aesthetic, book her!! You'll be happy that you had the opportunity to work with her! We really did - I hope she had as much fun at our wedding as we had with her there! 

Kathryn is amazing! I spent hours researching/interviewing photographers for our wedding and the person we decided to move forward with actually couldn't end up doing our date so she recommend Kathryn Tay to me and I truly think it "happened for a reason". Kathryn is everything and more that you could expect from a photographer for a big event! She is so organized, great communicator, sweet, creative, vocal, understanding and an extremely hard worker.
