Peter Johann Band is a fabulously talented funk-meets-jazz band of super cool people you want to hang out with. The front man, Peter, is not only a great singer and guitar player, but also a great guy. He was very accommodating from the first time we met him, for a preview of the band in his home studio. He and the band not only learned a couple of new songs for our wedding, but also created a funk-jazz arrangement for a song written by the groom but never before performed by a full band! When our viola player suddenly couldn’t be there to play Pachelbel’s Canon for the bride’s walk down the aisle, Peter and Dave the keyboard player jumped right in. The Peter Johann Band played our reception like there was no tomorrow. They played our chosen songs and kept everyone on the dance floor. We are now official groupies of PJB.
