We worked with Modern Luxe for our wedding in January and had an amazing experience! Janelle, Ian, and the entire Modern Luxe team were professional to work with, very responsive, and made the wedding planning process so much fun! Modern Luxe has an amazing repertoire of music, which was what stood out from the beginning. They also learned a few songs we requested for our wedding reception which made the night even more special. Our guests were on the dance floor all night, and we had so many raving about how talented they are! Cannot recommend Modern Luxe enough!

Modern Luxe was absolutely incredible! They were so professional and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. They genuinely are the best live band I have ever seen. Our family and friends still can’t stop talking about how good they were. They curated a setlist that perfectly captured what we were looking for and even learned a few songs we requested off of their setlist. They kept the energy going the whole night- our dance floor was packed the whole night! The band is so talented that each and every genre of music sounds like their genre. They played oldies, rock, pop, and alternative songs for us and they all sounded amazing. Thank you to everyone in Modern Luxe, you helped make our wedding so special for us

Modern Luxe was amazing from start to finish. They were super responsive to all emails and calls, flexible to accommodate our ideas, came to meetings when we asked them to be there, and most of all, helped us navigate an unforeseen issue with our hotel's power source on the big day. We hired a huge band with MLX and I guess our hotel venue's power was having issues; MLX navigated these issues so well that the groom and I had no idea at the time that anything was going on backstage. They handled it like true professionals; they are the type of vendor that you want to have on your side when things go ary on your big day (which, inevitably, most of the time WILL happen). They will go to bat for you to ensure that these things do not affect you or your big day -- MAJOR kudos to them for this. They were so much fun that my husband got on the stage twice to sing with them, which they just rolled with and made into a fun memory. Our friends and family all wanted their info after the wedding. They helped us coordinate a jazz guitarist and violinist for the cocktail hour (this duo absolutely rocked! loved their song selection), and allowed us to play a Spotify playlist through their system for an after-hours dance party even when they weren't under contract to keep performing. They genuinely just wanted to see us happy and to have a great night. Would absolutely choose them again, and you will not regret choosing them either! It was truly an honor to be married at the Modern Luxe show. From my wife crowd surfing to me ending the night on stage singing Sugar We’re Going Down with James, the Modern Luxe band provided the greatest experience and was the main subject of most of our texts from and conversations with our guests following the big day. The talents of each and every member of Modern Luxe are something to behold. It would be remiss of me to not shoutout the sound and lights guys. Janelle absolutely crushed it on the bride/groom, wedding party, bridge/groom parent intros. If your bride and bridesmaids would like to sing Mr. Brightside or any other song on stage, enlist MODERN LUXE. Their ability to not only learn, but MASTER songs is remarkable. Their versatility is unmatched by any band I have ever seen at a wedding. We all know how stressful wedding planning can be- and Ian and the band’s timeliness/responsiveness to all inquiries was absolutely incredible and honestly refreshing. That was quite easily the best day of my life- and Modern Luxe was instrumental (no pun intended) in making that so. Here’s to looking for another reason to hire Modern Luxe!

Modern Luxe is a 20/10 recommend choice for a wedding or any other event. We were blown away by their talent, attitude, and overall professionalism. We received countless compliments on our band choice both during the reception and after the wedding.

Modern Luxe absolutely nailed every song and made sure the night was as seamless as possible for our wedding. We really wanted to maximize our time on the dance floor just to hear them perform as much as possible. The only drawback is that time flew too fast with how many great songs they played, we didn’t want it to end!!! The sound, the quality, the creativity of the medleys all had the crowd raving and praising throughout the night and ever since! My wife and I cannot say enough great things about this band and the way they made the whole night a truly special and unforgettable one!!! Janelle and Ian were so attentive throughout the night and surprised us at the end with a special encore that we will always treasure. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Modern Luxe was the absolute best decision for our wedding! We heard them for the first time at another wedding and fell in love. The band leaders, Janelle and Ian were very responsive and flexible throughout our planning process. They hopped on several calls and emails to make sure our day went exactly how we wanted. Their performance day of did not disappoint! They fulfilled our special requests beyond our expectations. They were so fun, engaging, and professional. All of our guests raved about them to us after the fact. Thank you all for the best experience and throwing us an all night revival!

Modern Luxe was amazing in every way. They’ve played at several of our friends’ weddings and we just knew we needed to have them at ours. Ian and Janelle’s communication and attention to detail was great throughout the entire process. They absolutely nailed our first dance song, and sent us several versions to make sure it was perfect. The band was by far the best part of the night and the dance floor was packed until it was over. All of our guests haven’t stopped raving about them!!

Modern Luxe was the best addition to out September 2025 wedding! My husband and I knew immediately when we got engaged that we wanted a band for our wedding, we viewed over 20 bands and ultimately decided to go with Modern Luxe... this was one of our best wedding decisions! Ian, Janelle, and the entire Modern Luxe Band - they all are amazing and we can't recommend them enough! They were an absolute dream to work with, playing all the songs we love and even learning three new ones just for us. They had everyone dancing from start to finish, which was exactly what we wanted. On top of their incredible talent, they are genuinely nice people. We had a few venue changes throughout the process, and they were so flexible, accommodating, and easy-going. Their positive attitude and professionalism made everything stress-free.
