We had Gypsy Wisdom perform at our wedding at Waterloo Village in Stanhope, NJ, and we could not have picked a better band! We have zero regrets about booking them. What we liked most was that they offered a great variety of music, not just the usual (and sometimes dated) wedding classics.

Communication was super fast, payment was straightforward, and it was such a relief leading up to the day knowing we were dealing with a reliable vendor.

On the night of the wedding, they provided excellent MC services and offered DJ services during cocktail hour alongside their performance. We loved having them play at our wedding, and it was great seeing them in person a few months prior to the wedding. If you take one thing away from this review, it’s that I would highly recommend Gypsy Wisdom to anyone planning a wedding that wants a high energy band.

Gypsy Wisdom’s performance at our wedding was beyond amazing. They were what we were looking forward to most about our wedding, and they were hands down the #1 thing our guests could not stop RAVING about! They truly have the BEST energy, and you can immediately tell that they LOVE what they do. This is probably my favorite thing about them; throughout our wedding, we felt so connected to Courtney and the band, as if they weren’t just playing a gig, but were genuinely looking out for us and crafting the most perfect live show for us and all our guests.

They are professional live musicians in every sense of the word. They orchestrated the perfect buildup and release of energy throughout their sets. They are incredibly talented and played every song near-studio perfect and with the intensity of a packed shore town bar. And yes, they can play just about ANY song! Their song list is massive, with way more songs we love than could possibly be played in one night. Courtney is a natural at MCing and was so helpful in coordinating the timeline of events. The DJ the band brought with them was fantastic and I’m not exaggerating when I say the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE reception.

Beyond the performance itself, Gypsy Wisdom made the entire experience feel personal. Courtney is special. She is a STAR, and her love of love radiates from the stage to every person in the crowd. Looking back at our wedding videos, one of our favorite things is seeing Courtney’s facial expressions in the background of videos of our first dance, the speeches, or us crowd surfing. Those little moments say so much about who Courtney is and how genuinely invested she was in our wedding, which means the world to us.

I could go on forever about this band. I love so much that Gypsy Wisdom is now part of our story. They didn’t just exceed our expectations for an incredible live show, they exceeded our expectations in every way, from their talent and professionalism to their energy, personalities, and genuine care for us throughout the night.

If you’re considering Gypsy Wisdom for your wedding, just book them. You won’t just get an incredible band; you’ll get people who genuinely want to make your wedding the best day. We couldn’t imagine our wedding without them, and we are looking forward to seeing them play shows all over the jersey shore and Philly area.

From the bars in SIC to our wedding day, having Gypsy Wisdom was such a special full-circle moment for us & they FAR exceeded every expectation. We genuinely did not leave the dance floor once all night & even all of our grandmothers were out there dancing! We had multiple people texting us the very next day asking for their information, which says it all!! If you want a packed dance floor & a party your guests will talk about long after your wedding, BOOK THEM!!!

10000/10 THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! We had them at our wedding and crushed it!! We are still getting messages about how awesome the band was. Cannot recommend them enough!

I truly cannot recommend Gypsy Wisdom enough!! They were hands down one of the BEST investments we made for our wedding. Our dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT, and everyone kept telling us how incredible the band was. The singers were absolutely amazing, the energy was unreal, and the entire band is just so talented.

The communication throughout the entire planning process was also amazing. I was definitely picky when it came to the music and had a lot of opinions about what songs I wanted (and didn’t want lol), and they were SO kind and accommodating about everything. They never made me feel like I was asking for too much and truly made sure the music felt exactly like us.

If I could go back and plan our wedding all over again, I would book them again in a heartbeat. They made the entire night so much fun and were such a huge part of why our reception was everything we wanted it to be. Truly cannot recommend them enough!!!

Gypsy Wisdom brought the house down. People cannot stop telling us how much fun they had at our wedding at how awesome the band was. They kept the energy going all night long, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding band. If you want to dance the night away and have everyone tell you you had the best wedding they’ve ever been to, hire Gypsy Wisdom.

Let me tell you, if there is one decision that can ease your mind during wedding planning… it’s booking Gypsy Wisdom as your band. They were our favorite vendor for our wedding! Courtney was so sweet and was the perfect MC, and the bands talents speaks for itself. We were big GW fans before our wedding (they were our first vendor booked) and now all of our family and friends are also huge fans! Everyone could not stop talking about how amazing the band was all night. The DJ they brought along was also AMAZING and was actually ripping real songs. We were completely blown away by the talent, professionalism, and good vibes that’s GW brought to our day. We’re currently trying to convince all of our friends to book GW!!!! Trust me when i say that they will make your wedding a party your guests won’t forget!

We always loved watching Gypsy Wisdom play at our favorite bars, so it was zero surprise to us that they absolutely crushed it at our wedding!! The energy was high the entire night, and it kept everyone on the dance floor. It didn’t matter the generation, young or old, everyone had a phenomenal time with Gypsy Wisdom!!! Couldn’t imagine anyone else playing for our wedding day! Absolutely perfect night!!!

Courtney and the band were absolutely amazing!!!! They had everyone on the dance floor from the start. 
Before the wedding we met with Courtney and we went over the timeline. This eased any stress we had and she was so helpful and accommodating to anything we had requested! Couldn't recommend them enough!!

Gypsy Wisdom made our wedding a night to remember! The dance floor was packed with all 250 of our guests the entire night. They made their set list appeal to all our guests, yet not make it the same old same playlist you hear at every wedding. The band manager, Dave, was very fun and easy to work with from the beginning. Courtney was so amazing finalizing all the details. She was the MC all night which was extra special. They even played a variation of the father daughter song to make it a memorable moment. We can’t wait to see them down the shore at the OD. We love them and we can’t recommend them enough!
