About this vendor

Gypsy Wisdom is a wedding band based out of Morton, Pennsylvania, just 25 minutes outside of Philadelphia. The five-piece ensemble has been performing throughout the East Coast for over 10 years and is led by husband-and-wife team, Danny and Courtney. Along with their bandmates, they strive to ensure that their clients' experiences are as seamless and unforgettable as theirs was on their special day.

Services Offered

In addition to talented musicians, Gypsy Wisdom consists of a production engineer and a DJ. The band is happy to provide ceremony and cocktail hour music as well as reception entertainment. For smooth transitions between all aspects of your celebration, Courtney is available to MC. Gypsy Wisdom specializes in a number of genres, including country, hip hop, rock, Motown, top 40, and more. For a personalized experience on your big day, they are happy to learn new songs that are near and dear to you. The group can also bring along lighting and a sound system to your venue and is willing to travel upon request.

Gypsy Wisdom brought the house down. People cannot stop telling us how much fun they had at our wedding at how awesome the band was. They kept the energy going all night long, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding band. If you want to dance the night away and have everyone tell you you had the best wedding they’ve ever been to, hire Gypsy Wisdom.

Book gw as your wedding band

Let me tell you, if there is one decision that can ease your mind during wedding planning… it’s booking Gypsy Wisdom as your band. They were our favorite vendor for our wedding! Courtney was so sweet and was the perfect MC, and the bands talents speaks for itself. We were big GW fans before our wedding (they were our first vendor booked) and now all of our family and friends are also huge fans! Everyone could not stop talking about how amazing the band was all night. The DJ they brought along was also AMAZING and was actually ripping real songs. We were completely blown away by the talent, professionalism, and good vibes that’s GW brought to our day. We’re currently trying to convince all of our friends to book GW!!!! Trust me when i say that they will make your wedding a party your guests won’t forget!

Greatest Wedding Band Ever!

We always loved watching Gypsy Wisdom play at our favorite bars, so it was zero surprise to us that they absolutely crushed it at our wedding!! The energy was high the entire night, and it kept everyone on the dance floor. It didn’t matter the generation, young or old, everyone had a phenomenal time with Gypsy Wisdom!!! Couldn’t imagine anyone else playing for our wedding day! Absolutely perfect night!!!

Amazing experience !!

Courtney and the band were absolutely amazing!!!! They had everyone on the dance floor from the start. 
Before the wedding we met with Courtney and we went over the timeline. This eased any stress we had and she was so helpful and accommodating to anything we had requested! Couldn't recommend them enough!!

Book Gypsy Wisdom!!!!!

Gypsy Wisdom made our wedding a night to remember! The dance floor was packed with all 250 of our guests the entire night. They made their set list appeal to all our guests, yet not make it the same old same playlist you hear at every wedding. The band manager, Dave, was very fun and easy to work with from the beginning. Courtney was so amazing finalizing all the details. She was the MC all night which was extra special. They even played a variation of the father daughter song to make it a memorable moment. We can’t wait to see them down the shore at the OD. We love them and we can’t recommend them enough!

Best band ever

We don’t think we can put into words how amazing Gypsy Wisdom was at our wedding, but we will try. We see them at the OD in the summertime and knew we needed them as our wedding band the second we got engaged! They had the dance floor packed all night long! The song selection was perfect and their energy kept the party going!! They were so communicative and easy to work with leading up to the wedding!! We could not have imagined a more perfect night! If we could give them 10 stars we would!

Best band ever!!!

We see them in Sea Isle a lot so we knew we had to have them at our wedding! They were absolutely amazing and truly made our wedding night unforgettable. The dance floor was packed all night long and our guests are still raving about how incredible they were. We can’t recommend them enough — they’re truly the best!

Greatest wedding band ever

If you want your wedding reception to feel like a private concert that has every single one of your family and friends dancing their absolute asses off the entire night, BOOK GYPSY WISDOM!!!! It was hands down the best decision we made throughout the entire planning process. Courtney is a pleasure to work with in the weeks leading up to it, and she was a total rockstar the entire night doubling as a lead singer and emcee. The band kept the energy high from the very first time they grabbed the mic. All of the compliments we got on the wedding included the same note - that was the best band and most fun dance floor I've ever experienced at a wedding! DO IT - BOOK THEM!!!!

The best part of my wedding :)

We have been long time fans of Gypsy Wisdom, so when it came time to picking our wedding band, it was a no brainer. They were truly the highlight of our wedding day. Our dance floor was packed and moving from the second they started to play. Courtney was so wonderful, easy to work with, and accommodating. All of my dreams and visions came true because of the them. It’s been 2 weeks and people are still commenting on how amazing our band was! If you want your wedding to be a party, there is no other option besides Gypsy Wisdom.

Best wedding band

Gypsy Wisdom truly made my wedding! Everyone was dancing and had so much fun! They sang my first dance song which is normally fast and they slowed it down into a gorgeous version. They were so easy and fun to work with! My husband and I both said our favorite part of the wedding was the last dance. It ended the wedding with the best energy and all our favorite people around dancing nonstop. Don’t be fooled you may think the real artists of the songs are actually at your wedding singing, but that’s just how good the singers of Gypsy Wisdom are! They made my wedding night the best and I truly had the time of my life! They are all so thoughtful too and you can tell they want the night to be everything you dreamed of musically and more!
