Rev. Darlene Shlesinger was absolutely perfect. We when to her not knowing exactly what we wanted and she truly provided a personal touch in everything she provides. We are a blended family with six kids and we wanted the kids to have a part in our ceremony. She suggested a sand ceremony to symbolize the union of our family. It's was simply beautiful! Tom was wonderful to work with! He was constantly in contact with us to make sure we had everything we needed for the ceremony. He gave us the script a month in advance so there were no surprises. Pastor Brandsness was everything we were looking for and then some.

It was very important to both of us to find an officiant who could cater to our desire for a non-traditional wedding without offending any relatives or guests. We essentially wanted someone with a Christian background who would be willing to do a ceremony more spiritually focused, as opposed to religiously focused.

Tom met with us a few times to discuss plans, and even gave us our own copy of a potential "script" for the ceremony for us to look over and approve. He allowed for us to write our own vows, delcarations of intent, and ring ceremonies, even though he provided us with numerous worthy options. He had no problem making room in the 30-minute ceremony for readings by my sisters and even an accoustic guitar performance of an oldies love song by my now sister-in-law.

Tom is very affordable! He even charged us less than his usual price because we were not having a rehearsal.

Everyone loved him and could hardly believe we found him online. He was so warm and smiley and made sure to include special, personalized touches for us to keep it from seeming rote.

Tom is very nice and puts a lot of effort into personalizing your ceremony. Our ceremony was a bit non-traditional, which I think threw him off a bit during the planning. But he worked really hard to get things right, and he incorporated all our suggestions immediately. He really impressed me with the care he put into planning our ceremony, and the time he was willing to spend before the actual wedding day.
