I recently got married at the Park Hyatt Chicago and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue to have my wedding ceremony and reception. The space was the perfect size for an intimate gathering for our 140 guests. Beginning with the initial walkthrough, prior to booking the space, the event staff was top notch and treated my husband and I with first class service. Everyone from the wedding coordinator to the bar/wait staff to the head waiter were very accommodating and professional. Every single detail was handled in a professional manner and they bent over backward to add our requested Bourbon and Bubbly tasting with Bourbon bacon and cotton candy. We received so many compliments from our guests about how classy yet fun our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were. I highly recommend the Park Hyatt. You won’t be disappointed.

The Park Hyatt did an amazing job with our wedding ceremony and reception. The food and service was top of the line, and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience. My entire family also stayed at the hotel for a weekend, and everyone was treated so well. I cannot thank the Park Hyatt enough for all that they did for us, our amily and our friends.

My husband and I selected the Park Hyatt after viewing approximately 20 venues in the City of Chicago. We are both from here, so we were familiar with many of the hotels, and wanted to make sure that the venue not only represented our sophisticated taste, but a modern aesthetics. We're also foodies, so we wanted excellent Michelin rated food for our wedding guests, and wanted a location that was in the heart of downtown Chicago on Michigan Avenue for out of town guests that wanted the full Chicago shopping and touring sites experience. The hotel rooms are very nice, modern and roomy. They're usually priced pretty high, but depending on your guest count, you will get a nice discount. The bridal suite is the "Armani" suite, which for any girl that loves fashion, it was a dreamy room (more like apartment since it's large). Every person from the Catering Managers, Banquets, Front Desk staff, Bellman, Restaurant staff, Housekeeping, etc was incrediby accomodating to our every request. Also, everything in their wedding packages are top notch selections. The chairs, linens, bar/alcohol selections were top shelf and upgraded options at other hotels. You will be surprised at the upcharge that other hotels will do just for linens and chairs, and if you have almost 200 guests, having a upcharge of $15 bucks per chairs at other hotels will add up, so although you may initially think the Park Hyatt is higher than other hotels, once you sit down and calculate everything, you will realize how much more you get at the Park Hyatt in comparison to other hotels because the standard optionis at the Park Hyatt are luxurious and top notch. If you want a classy wedding for less than 200 guests and have it be personalized so you're not sharing the space with others (which is another plus that other hotels don't offer), the Park Hyatt is definitely a fantastic choice for your wedding!

Handsome venue. Refined, but casually elegant. Competitve with 4 Seasons, Peninsula, Ritz Carlton, but smaller, newly decorated and more intimate. Boutique Hotel. Perfect.

The Chicago Park Hyatt Grand Salon turned out to a dream place to hold our wedding Reception with delicious and amazing food and wine. This is high praise from an older couple who scoured Chicago for the ideal venue(s) for our guests who flew in from all over the world. There is so much value from the talented chefs of No-Mi who prepare your feast, to the uplighting, grand piano, lounge furniture, and candles included in your package. The Park Hyatt staff is superbly trained and ensures that every single detail and guest is handled well. Catering Manager Jennifer Silvestri is a seasoned professional who works day and night to ensure your special day will be perfect and she becomes your "day of" planner to make this happen. We were ecstatic with our Park Hyatt Reception and all of our guests raved about the incredible food, the romantic ambiance, wonderful historic location at the Water Tower, and the well trained staff. We highly recommend the Park Hyatt Grand Salon and Manager Jennifer Silvestri if you want your wedding to be flawless and delicious!!

For our wedding we went with a smaller guest list with a higher price package. The Park Hyatt was the perfect place to make this happen. We looked at other hotels but it did not have that wow factor we were looking for. The ballroom is gorgeous with the lighting and décor. We were able to save money on flowers and decorations because we just accents what the hotel already had. The location was great for our local and out of town guest. They were able to shop and see the sights before and after the wedding. Not to mention we had some of the best spots in the city for wedding photos! We were able to get access to the Nomi Bar Terrace for amazing shots after the ceremony. Not many people can have photos getting ready with the Historic Water Tower in the background. The food was outstanding! Our guest still talk about it today.

The Park Hyatt is a top notch venue and the service was impeccable from start to finish. This is a great venue for foodies since their food is far from typical wedding fare. We would highly recommend the Park Hyatt to anyone for a wedding or any special event.
