Fr. Lopez (no longer at Lakes) officiated our ceremony, he took the time to get to know us as a couple and was sure to not make any "cheesy" statements during the wedding. Many of our guests complimented how personal it was without being cliche'.

Father D did our wedding and couldn't have done a better job. I have been to weddings reciently where the priest's homily was totally irrevelant to the couple, Father D took time to talk to us and personalized the service to our personality. He did a great job helping us enjoy every moment of the ceremony. That's what's all about isn't it?!

We had a couple unique issues (my DH got a job in another state.) and Father was able to work around our schedule. I got compliments all night about how great the ceremony was. The only downside is that the people at Lakes don't have their emails listed on their website so you have to call them to set up meetings.

I must say I am a little dissappointed in Our Lady of the Lakes. My ceremony felt rushed and the father gave off a vibe of being annoyed. The full ceremony and mass was cut very short and he didnt even stick around for pictures.
