The Hacienda was the first venue we toured when we started shopping around for our wedding venue and we immediately knew it was the one for us. We loved that the Hacienda took care of all the major details of our wedding including the day of logistics. We simply chose our DJ, photographer, and officiant and the Hacienda took care of the rest. The venue is beautiful and there's no such thing as a bad picture in the Hacienda. We chose the Southwest Buffet and we got nothing but great compliments from our guests about the food. We strongly recommend you go in person and check out the Hacienda to find out for yourself what a great venue it is. The Hacienda and their staff made our special day truly unforgettable.

The Casino had so much character and was exactly what I imaged on my wedding day! It’s vintage and classic, but also on the beach so you get the best of both worlds! I loved all the vintage touches it had. Great venue!!

Our wedding experience through the Chapel of Orange (thanks to Melissa & Cheryl) from our very first consult visit through to its conclusion was enjoyable, positively memorable, and most importantly - SO EASY!!! Initially, my wife and I didn’t believe we would be able to locate a wedding venue to move forward with our vision for an intimate and whimsical wedding aesthetic. So much so that we were a hair trigger away from eloping. Thankfully, as a final measure, we decided to create a checklist of required items that a wedding venue had to have for us to consider moving forward with a wedding including but not limited to; 1) an organic set of barebones / overall aesthetic that would pair well with a playful and lighthearted whimsical evening themed wedding aesthetic that in no way resembled the typical cookie cutter wedding 2) efficiently organized with strong vendor relations and/or recommendations, and 3) cost effective in the context of a smaller guest list of about 70. From the thoughtfully salvaged bricks from a to-be torn down structure in Europe that made up the archways of the reception area to the beautiful garden area rich with lush plants flowers nestled cozily between the ceremony and reception areas, the Chapel of Orange had checked off every box we had without us having to compromise. The well oiled machine that was Melissa and Cheryl far fostered a positive wedding planning experience as they handled EVERYTHING in such an unflappable manner. In addition to coordinating and scheduling design appointments, Melissa coordinated the vendors running their part correctly from the florist, to the videographer, to the Photo Booth, to the DJ, to the caterer, to the cake designer, and all the way down the list to the highly talented photographer Ashley Paige. Melissa also gave us a month by month wedding checklist to follow along to at the very start which made the ongoing planning process easy to follow while also simultaneously reducing any wedding related anxiety stemming from the feeling that we had forgotten some important detail along the way. Melissa’s incredibly consistent and reliable communication as well as clear direction cut any unnecessary internal and external noise that went into the wedding process. Dates for big decisions such as our food tasting, table design, and final rehearsal were planned well in advance, allowing us to do nothing more than be present and direct the final decisions. Additionally, Melissa facilitated for the florist consult date and the DJ online phone meeting to verify lighting and song choices. The day of rehearsal, we dropped off all our supplemental DIY designs for our themed wedding and Melissa handled the rest of set-up. The day of the wedding was smooth like butter; Melissa had… 1) our parking spaces reserved with bright orange cones for us as well members of the wedding party, 2) boutonnieres ready and pinned members of the wedding party as they arrived 3) both the groom and bride’s prep rooms staged and ready to go, 4) and all vendors on standby and ready for instruction. I have no doubt that Melissa handled so many more fires behind the scenes as my wife and I didn’t have a single hiccup or moment where we had to step away to address a concern. It was marvelous, and the best day of our lives. TLDR: The Chapel of Orange runs like a well cared for and harmonious machine headed by Melissa and Cheryl. At each step of the way, they took the feedback we had the day of our wedding, executed the upper limit of potential we had for our whimsical garden wedding.

Duane was extremely professional, helpful, and responsive. Our wedding was perfect thanks to his team. The venue itself is really beautiful and classy. I couldn't have asked for a better venue.

This wedding venue is truly a dream. When planning my wedding I was searching high and low for outdoor venues and I’m so happy the arboretum popped up on my list! Tiffany was so helpful throughout all of my planning and promptly answered any questions I had along the way. Although the venue has a preferred vendor list, you are able to go off of that list to book other vendors, as long you get approval and the specific requirements needed from the venue. The venue details everything out for you to make planning, booking vendors, and communication a breeze! Our wedding was in May 2023. Peak spring time, and I can’t begin to explain to you how breathtaking the scenery was. Every inch of this venue was a beautiful backdrop for pictures. All of our guests were in awe and kept complimenting us on how beautiful the venue was. Truly the best decision we made! So happy we had our wedding here

Casa Romantica was our wedding venue in Sept 2022. It is a beautiful venue and offers so many photo opportunities and a lot of space for guests to explore. It offers several places for first looks, first dance etc and you can truly personalize your wedding day. We suggest going down to the beach after the ceremony to take pictures on the beach and pier. I would advise that this venue only had air conditioning in the bridal suite. If you get married in the summer be ready for the heat! Also remember the venue does not provide any equipment and you will have to reserve cooking tent and all rentals from their one approved rental company Bright Event (we did not have the best experience with this rental company). We suggest using the wood casa chairs for your sweetheart table! Overall we loved this venue and the beauty it offered on our wedding day!

We had our wedding on November 2019 at this gorgeous venue. We looked at three other venues before seeing Villa del Sol, and we made the decision to have our wedding right away. We were incredibly happy about how our wedding turned. With the set up and all, it was beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. Venue - It's a historical place with a Spanish vibe and lots of character. It has market lights across the place making it very romantic at night. At sunset the venue is absolutely gorgeous. We have an 85 person wedding and it was the perfect size, not too cramped or bare. Our guests were very complimentary of the venue. At the day of the event, Shawna hires two security guards to prevent the public from coming in while the party is going. Venue coordinator - Shawna is amazing. She is so accommodating and flexible. She helps you plan the design of the place, and helps with placing the order for tables/chairs. She's got great tips for helping you save on cost. My husband and I had a very positive experience with her. Catering - Villa del Sol has their list of approved caterers and alcohol vendors. We went with Fullerton Brew Co. The food was delicious and we had plenty of alcohol to lasts us through the night. From our past experiences as wedding guests, the food was never memorable or good good food. I couldn't really eat the day of my wedding because of the craziness, but my husband and guests were very complimentary of the food. We wanted a very intimate wedding, have our closest friends/family be active participants and witnesses to our marriage and love, and this venue with all its character was the perfect setting for it.

Exactly the elegance I was hoping for! Amazing venue and wonderfully responsive staff. The venue is like something out of a fairytale and works with so many different types of of decor. I played up the historical aesthetic and even had a jazz saxophone player.
