Aloha my name is Tyme and I have been a photographer on the beautiful island of Kauai for over eight years. I have had a fascination with photography ever since I was a little girl. How a moment can be taken, frozen and captured in time, even after it is long gone. How we can be in a moment and then outside of the moment, looking back in. How a single photograph holds the power to transcend time and transport us back into the storybook of our lives. How in the reflection of an image, our most celebrated, sacred moments and those our hearts love deepest, can be relived and remembered.

Tyme is my real name, given at birth and it has become very fitting. Time is what I capture; one of a kind, storybook moments, rich in connection and meaning, that will be treasured long after they pass. Against the breathtaking backdrop of Kauai's lush, green mountains, sparkling, turquoise water and golden sand and sunsets, I pose and capture fairytale love and romance; real kisses and smiles, intimate and euphoric glances, happy and heartfelt tears, tender and passionate touch, genuine and heartfelt covenant.

I titled my business Once Upon a Tyme Photography, because I believe in true love, that dreams do come true, that real life fairytales exist and in happily ever after. I have always been a hopeless romantic, but now with good reason. On Kauai, with my husband and soulmate, I have experienced love at first sight and storybook island romance. After fifteen years of marriage, both continue alive and strong. Happily ever after love, romance and marriage is not the effortless act it can appear though. However, with deep commitment, loyalty, perseverance and unwavering faith and love, I am living proof that if you pursue "happily" it really can turn into "ever after." This is a glimpse of my love story. My desire as your photographer would be to preserve a glimpse of yours; to capture your storybook moments as they unfold, once upon a tyme :), on the faraway island of Kauai, for now and happily ever after.
