I had a very specific vision: a black tie wedding in my grandparents backyard with 150 guests — elegant, seamless, and unforgettable. Somehow, she took that dream and brought it to life even better than I imagined.

We recently held my daughters destination wedding in Jupiter, FL, and Christine Olive from Olive & Ivory Events was our wedding planner. As the bride’s father (and keeper of the checkbook), I was skeptical of using a wedding planner. All I can say is that hiring Christine was probably the smartest thing we did! She worked with my wife and daughter for months on all aspects of the wedding, insuring that we were on top of everything and letting nothing fall through the cracks. But what impressed me the most was on the day of our wedding. She was at the venue, from beginning to end, making sure everyone (from vendors, to guests, to the bridal party) was on time and where we needed to be, when we needed to be there. She was also able to handle a couple of hiccups we had, without any interrupts to our schedule. We did not have to worry about anything as she made sure everything ran smoothly. Because of this we were able to truly enjoy the occasion and focus on our friends and family. I was very thankful for everything Christine did and I can’t recommend her highly enough to handle any wedding planning and the wedding event itself.

I have worked in the hospitality industry for 15+ years and originally thought I could do this all by myself. I eventually came to my senses and hired Christine to do day-of wedding coordination for my January 2025 wedding. Her efforts started well before the wedding day and I have never encountered someone so responsive as Christine. She was there to answer any questions we had and offered advice wherever needed. Christine played such a vital role in helping us to have the wedding of our dreams. She is kind, passionate about her job, professional, straightforward (SO necessary in this field of work), and so so so organized. There are so many little details that i had no idea even existed, and she handled them all with ease. She is very quick with responding to emails, texts, and phone calls. She kept all of our vendors perfectly aligned and was so good with handling the ones who were difficult to get responses from!! Leading up to wedding day she kept us calm and organized. But, let me tell you, the day of the wedding she is a force to be reckoned with!!! She gets it DONE y’all. I can truly say not a single thing went wrong. We had the perfect day. From the first phone call Christine was organized and gave us her opinion very straight, something we were grateful for. She helped us navigate the difficult world of vendors and locations, giving us her honest opinions about what each could provide for us and helped us make those difficult decisions. Her response time is nothing short of exceptional and if she didn’t have an answer immediately, she hustled to get one as soon as she possibly could, contacting anyone that needed to be contacted on our behalves. She left no stone unturned. To describe Christine as efficient would be the understatement of the century. She makes you feel as if you are her most important client at all times.

On the day, Christine was on top of everything. There are so many moving parts especially weather and timings (obviously when you’re in south Florida!) she made sure that our wedding was absolutely perfect. This was a big orthodox Jewish wedding and Christine was more than up to making sure that everything moved on time and in a way that kept the magic of the occasion at the forefront. We had the most magical and beautiful wedding and a few weeks later we are still reliving the most amazing day of our lives over and over. Thank you Christine. We miss you already.

If you are planning a wedding anywhere near Christine, you need to hire her. When we woke up the day after our wedding, my wife’s first words to me were “can you imagine if we didn’t have Christine?” The answer is no.

Christine is everything you can ever ask for in a wedding planner. Her attention to detail and responsiveness is insane. She always had an answer to our questions. She gave excellent advice when we asked for her opinion. Importantly, her guidance was always (1) in line with our overall vision and (2) definitive and clear – i.e., it always gave me great comfort that it seemed like she was extremely experienced and great at what she does. It was no surprise to me that my hunch was correct.

Christine was so organized with the vendors – she sent out multiple emails to each of our vendors (15+) leading up to the event. Due to her tireless effort to be on top of everything for us, there were a couple instances where she corrected our vendors on details (for example, they were planning to show up at the wrong time).

Her performance on wedding day was everything I hoped and more. Besides the fact that the day went perfectly and according to plan down to the minute on her timeline, Christine’s demeanor and guidance on the actual day was very comforting for me and my wife.

Truthfully, my only regret is that we didn’t do the full package and that I literally didn’t hire her the day after I got engaged. She was worth every single penny and then some.

From my first consultation phone call with Christine from Olive & Ivory I knew I needed her. She did an unbelievable job with my wedding weekend. I was toying with the idea of a coordinator until I actually spoke to Christine on the phone. She was hired as a "Day of Coordinator" but she did so much more than that. The weeks leading up to my wedding, she was available to me all day, everyday. She ran through every minute of the day not missing one detail, thinking of things I didn't even know I had to. If there were issues on the day of the wedding, I had no idea because Christine took care of everything. She was unbelievably thorough and help my wedding dreams come true. She created a detailed file with all the information for the event and made sure all vendors and wedding party members were on the same page. She took many things off my plate, but the most important thing she took off my plate was my stress. She offered the most appropriate and necessary recommendations and advice. I had no worries once I knew Christine was involved. My venue (Pelican Club) and other vendors knew Christine and were happy to hear when she was my coordinator. She reputation speaks volumes. I would recommend Christine to any one looking for a planner or coordinator. I wish I had hired her sooner than I did. I am truly so grateful I had her as a part of my wedding day.

Christine was amazing! We cannot recommend her enough. We live in another state and she was so helpful in planning our wedding from afar. I have never met someone so organized and efficient. She guided us through the whole process, giving us feedback and helpful opinions at every stage. We got married at a brand new venue which had never held a wedding before so there were a ton of logistics and we had to basically start from scratch with a blank slate, and she thought of every detail.
