I have known Olenka for several years and I absolutely adore her. When I “set a date”, I wasn’t certain of many things but I knew hands down I would like Olenka there for my special day. Olenka is not only a creative and talented hair artist but she has a great aura about her. Her enthusiasm and positivity is contagious. For the wedding she worked with my mother in law and my bridesmaids, all of which were blown away with how well they clicked with her and how she understood their particular hair/makeup to bring out the best attributes. Collectively the styling for myself and my bridesmaids was nothing short of stunning. Thank you Olenka from the bottom of my heart for being there with us for my special day!

Olenka did my hair and my bride's maid's hair for my wedding. We all looked gorgeous and had pretty up and down dos. I loved my pretty up-do braid w/flowing curls! She spent quality time on each of us and nothing was rushed or done sloppily. Olenka is the best!

Olenka has a generousity of spirit that shines through every service she renders. She is a very talented stylest & i would recommend her for any event! She did hair & make-up for both my daughter's weddings & we could not have been more satisfied!

It was my daughter's wedding and Olenka provided hair & make-up for my daughter and all of her attendants as well as me, mother-of the bride. She did an excellent job for all of us including one of the bridesmaids who kept crying and we were running out of time to do her hair & make-up, but Olenka never lost her cool. She had been doing my hair, cut & color for years before that also. I wish her the best in her new location.

Olenka called me the morning of my bridal shower, drunk, to tell me that she couldn't make it. She also called two days before my wedding and said that she didn't realize that she had four people to do instead of just me. It was obvious by our conversation that she really did not want to come and honor her obligation. She told me that she had moved to Boston since our initial agreement and that is would be a long drive for her to come to New York. Yet another inconvenience to her. Our wedding was at 6:00 pm and Olenka arrived at 10:00 am which was much to early when we had agreed upon noon. Her reason was that she had to get home so her son could use her car. Our hair and makeup came out satisfactory, the braid in one of my bridesmaid's hair fell out shortly after the ceremony which was upsetting since the style was based upon the braid. Olenka was also an invited guest to our wedding which she responded that she was going to attend. Once again Olenka decided that it wasn't convenient for her to honor her commitment and told me this when she arrived at 10:00 am. The day after k wedding a received a very rude email from Olenka. She went on about how she had to refuse a larger wedding party where she could have made more money and not travel so far to do it. She told me that my hair and makeup was a gift but it was terrible of me to expect her to do the rest of my party for free, which I had no intentions of doing. She made no apologies for being a no show fo my bridal shower as well as our wedding. She tried to make it seem that she was much to important to have anything to do with such a small bridal party. I thought Olenka was a professional and a friend, but I was wrong. I had been going to her for years to do my hair and attended her salon opening party, however when it came right down to it Olenka is a mediocre stylist and two faced person. She asked me to review her after not hearing from her since our wedding, so here is my review.
