Oleander, a Boutique Floral & Event Styling Studio, is the brainchild of Floral Stylist & Freelance Photographer, Cynthia Manchester. Her fine arts background, passion for the botanical, and keen sense of environmental design have established Oleander as New Jersey & Bucks County’s newest avant garde floral & event studio.

Cynthia has trained under some of New York and & Philadelphia’s most established floral designers & event stylists prior to opening her Millstone-based studio.

While she finds inspiration in well known designers like the celebrated Constance Spry and organic maven Francoise Weeks, she also draws upon bits of her client’s loves and lives. From a bride’s favorite decor piece to a family heirloom to a texture which conjures a comforting memory, she seeks to create thoughtfully detailed, highly personalized floral works & environments.

With an appreciation for both the classic and quirky, Cynthia’s floral aesthetic ranges from the simple and tailored to the loose and organic; sometimes romantic… sometimes sculptural.

Always a photographer, her passion lies in creating detailed pieces which celebrate the beauty of the fleeting. But best described by her clients as both floral stylist and “friendor”, her real ability rests in translating each client’s personal vision into truly timeless floral works.
