Cynthia is such an artist. Her creativity, talent and enthusiasm are unsurpassed. My daughter's bouquet was nothing short of spectacular. What a pleasure to work with such a professional. I would highly recommend her if you don't want the ordinary! Loved her and her crew...

Cynthia met with my mom and I at the venue to get the creative juices flowing. We told her the style of the wedding and what we were looking for and she ran with it. She was full of so many creative and spectacular ideas for the space that we never would have thought of! We ended up with the most beautifully romantic setting for our wedding day! Our guests cannot stop talking about how amazing everything looked! The flowers were perfect and the lighting installations were exquisite. Cynthia did a stellar job and we could not be happier with choosing her for the décor! Thank you, Cynthia!

My daughter and I knew immediately that Cynthia was the only floral designer that would bring our vision to life! She had such a natural ability to listen to our ideas, provide creative suggestions, and designed the most Beautiful Wedding! Upon entering the venue at the Horticulture Center, we were all transported to a Moment in Time!!! Cynthia's attention to detail was Amazing! From the hanging lanterns that lit up the live bamboo wall and rustic wooden altar, with candle lit lanterns along the aisle......the Perfect Bridal Bouquet and attendant florals.......the lovely calligraphy mirror seating chart.....the wedding party farm tables canopied with greenery and florals.....the hanging lantern covered dance floor.....the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center came to life!!! We feel very fortunate that Cynthia Loves what she does....and Shared that Love with us! Thank you Cynthia!

Cynthia and her husband of Oleander are incredibly talented and true artists! They took my ideas and vision and made it so much more than I ever could have dreamed. Outside of marrying my husband, seeing my venue transformed by florals was the highlight of my wedding day! It was truly magical.

Cynthia and the whole Oleander team are SO incredible! From the very beginning, when Cynthia suggested we have our first meeting at our venue, I knew I could trust Oleander to be a professional, invested vendor (and I was right). But more than that, Cynthia is just a creative magician when it comes to florals. She completely understood the vision we were hoping for and elevated it to a higher level.

My bouquet was out-of-control incredible, all the centerpieces were so lush and each blossom was perfect, and somehow she made a huge wreath of cherry blossoms for the canopy during our ceremony into a revolving chandelier strung with Edison bulbs during the reception.

Everyone was so floored by the flowers, and all of the credit goes to Cynthia & her great team. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Of all the things I was unsure about throughout the wedding planning process, I was sure I wanted to work with Oleander from the beginning. I loved working with Cynthia not only for her unique and not so "traditional" style, but she was able to bring my vision and ideas to life without even being able to fully describe what I wanted myself! She is super flexible and works with your budget to incorporate as much as she can. This is a super rare thing to find in the "wedding world" and her work speaks for itself. Hands down amazing.

Cynthia and Dave of Oleander Florals and Events are one of the most personable, innovative, and creative couples that we have met. We feel so blessed to have had Cynthia and Dave compose the most unbelievable and inspiring elements for our wedding.

Cynthia was so passionate about understanding the vision of our Spanish Fiesta Wedding and executed it beyond my wildest dreams. I never imagined that an abundance of creative and beautiful elements could be blended with such confidence and excitement. After viewing her work online and conversing with her about my dream wedding I knew that I wanted nothing other than her artistic touches all throughout our wedding day.

Cynthia took time to understand our vision and embraced it full force. Matt and I could have not chosen a more capable husband and wife team to bring together the most stunning color pallete, most beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres and amazing ceremony canopy. They worked with the barn elements to create the perfect table and chandelier décor and even installed our festive ceiling drapes! Our expectations were exceeded far beyond belief!

Cynthia was absolutely amazing to work with! Throughout the entire process she was extremely helpful, responsive, professional, friendly and easy to work with and not to mention - has phenomenal taste/style and vision that was exactly what we were looking for. We received numerous compliments on how beautiful our flower arrangements were for both the ceremony and the reception. If I have another big occasion I will definitely hire her/Oleander again!

When I became engaged, I knew that the two things that would be the most important to me would be photography and flowers. Early on in the planning process, I came across Cynthia's work online and was blown away by her brilliant use of color, texture, and unexpected, creative arrangements. When my mother (who is an avid gardener and incredibly passionate about plants and flowers) and I met with Cynthia, I immediately knew that there was no better person to be an important part of such a special day.

Using exceptional creativity to cultivate a stunning vision, her attention to detail and ability to create without mental restraints delivers a finished product that exceeds expectation. We were astounded at how she interpreted our vision into a stunning reality. Quite literally, our guests gasped when they entered our reception space and saw the world she created for us. Her finished product was astonishing. The concept was achieved perfectly...far better than I could have imagined.

On top of being a true floral genius, Cynthia becomes a trusted friend. She is passionate and loves what she does, and it shows in every aspect. You trust her as you would trust yourself, and you have no problem being confident in her aesthetic and direction.

Whether on the phone, in person, or via email, Cynthia makes you feel like you are her only bride. She's also incredibly conscious about working within your budget, and is open and honest when something may push the bounds. The whole team at Oleander is kind, fantastic, and incredibly talented. They transformed our entire venue, including multiple spaces, without missing a single detail. I could go on and on about how much we loved working with Oleander Florals & Events - they made our wedding elegant, romantic and exceptional. We are so blessed to have worked with them. Cynthia made our wedding better then we could have ever imagined! She far exceeded our expectations and did so much more than flower arrangements and bouquets (which were literally perfect)! Cynthia and the whole Oleander team did an amazing job. Cynthia took my vision for the day, ran with it and created a space that exceeded all of my expectations. She was completely professional and a breeze to work with. The work was modern yet bohemian and truly transformed the venue while also complementing the space. Also, she managed to stay within our budget while still giving us everything we wanted! I really can't express how pleased I am with everything from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the magnificent chuppah she constructed! Cynthia was absolutely outstanding! She far exceeded my high expectations. She took the ideas I gave her and ran with them to make something far better and more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. The final product included the most beautiful and unique bouquets, table arrangements and wall décor that I have ever seen!

Throughout the entire process, Cynthia was very professional and responsive. Although I knew she was juggling tons of clients and weddings, she always made time for my calls and made me feel like I was a priority. And she was great about working within our modest budget. She is super knowledgeable and such a nice person too. I seriously can't say enough great things about Cynthia and her team!

Cynthia and her team at Oleander went above and beyond in carrying out the vision for our wedding. Our wedding location was elegant and beautiful alone, but after seeing the ceremony and reception space for the first time on my wedding day “post-Cynthia”, I was completely blown away. Cynthia and her team completely transformed our venue from a suburban country club to one of picturesque perfection. I truly felt that I was in a fairy tale. Cynthia created an environment that literally took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes. Her floral choices were fresh and unique, the décor stunning, and the ambiance warm and romantic. We received many comments both in passing and in writing from family, friends, and staff - all were captivated by Cynthia's magic.

I swooned over the images that captured her one-of-a-kind artistry in floral form from past weddings and my initial conversation with Cynthia by phone only confirmed her passion and creativity. And so, even before meeting her in person for a true consultation, I had already developed an immediate sense of trust and confidence. Knowing next to nothing about flowers, I told Cynthia the choice was ultimately in her hands. Sure, I had a “style,” some ideas, and color scheme in mind (as most brides do) that she readily worked with, but ultimately Cynthia took the lead, and she certainly did not disappoint.

Aside from her creativity, Cynthia is a true professional. She has a wealth of knowledge and resources and is totally dedicated to her clients. Throughout our entire planning process, Cynthia never imposed and warmly welcomed our ideas and suggestions. She was also true to her word and always mindful of our budget making adjustments as needed to ensure that we stayed within our comfort zone.

I could go on and on about Oleander Florals & Events. We feel so blessed to know Cynthia and to have had her team style our wedding. Their work was beyond exceptional and simply cannot be replicated.

Cynthia's work is absolutely beautiful. The amount of hours, care, and thought that she put into our wedding was amazing. She is creative, innovative, and passionate about her work. I would recommend her to anyone who wants not just beautiful florals, but a carefully constructed and perfectly executed design for their wedding. Cynthia took our general ideas and overall theme and ran with it, adding touches that we never would have thought of or would have been able to pull off without her. She is truly an expert.

I made a Bridall Shower for my future daughter in law and Cynthia was the floral designer. Her flower table arrangements were so spectacular that guests were begging to take them home. She also designed a unique charming wall of white lattice work with the engaged couple's initials in moss monogrammed in the center. The lattice was covered in stems of lilacs! Just gorgeous!! On the gift table, Cynthia took a huge vintage bird cage and wrapped a lush garland of peonies/lavender roses/ lilacs/greenery/white roses, hydrangeas/etc around and down the cage cascading onto the table. It was breathtaking. I would highly highly recommend Oleandar Botanicals to anyone wanting magnificent floral decor for a special party or affair.

I chose Oleander because the work speaks for itself! Truly...visit their website and you will see what I mean! Cynthia and Oleander have a creative vision that is so far beyond what you get from a typical florist. Her work is so creative and I felt she truly tailored her creative sensibilities to create florals and decor that were personalized to my vision. Cynthia was also extremely responsive and I appreciated how much she respected my budget and also delivered an incredibly amazing end result! So many of our guests told me how beautiful everything was, and how they had never before seen anything quite like what Oleander created!

We were absolutely blown away by the flowers and decor for our wedding! From the unique bouquets, to the floral curtain to hang our name cards, to the delicate floral wall accents, every detail was flawless. Cynthia and the entire Oleander team went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect. Once I met with Cynthia I knew I was in good hands. She listened to what I wanted and then made it more beautiful than I could have ever expected all while staying within our budget. I found Cynthia of Oleander Botanicals just as I was giving up hope of finding an artistic but still affordable florist for my wedding. I had been working with another florist but had to part ways because she refused to work within my stated budget. With only 4 months to go, I quickly sent out a bunch of inquiries, soon enough heard back from Cynthia, and the rest was history.

Cynthia is a rare gem in the wedding industry - organized, prompt, professional, committed, and a creative wizard. She spent -literally- hours on the phone with me, brainstorming ideas and coming up with creative solutions to fit my budget without sacrificing my aesthetic vision. I was worried I was taking up too much of her time, but I was always the one who had to end the conversation to get back to my day job!

While Cynthia was committed to carrying out the floral vision I desired, she was also an immense creative asset. After seeing my venue, she recommended slight changes to our original plan that proved to be incredibly valuable. On our wedding day, the reception space was completely transformed by her arrangements. She and her team also built a Chuppah which held flower-boxes that were recycled into centerpieces after the ceremony.

As important, Cynthia is honest and precise - all of the other florists I worked with gave me proposals thousands of dollars above my specified budget. Cynthia is the one professional who was committed to staying within my budget and creating something masterful with it. There were no games, no up charges or hidden fees. Everything was straightforward and easy.

I could not recommend her more. I only wish I could have another wedding to see what other marvels Cynthia and her team can create!

I couldn't have been happier with the work Cynthia and her team at Oleander did. I can honestly say they blew my mind! Cynthia took my complete vision and made it more of a reality than I could have ever imagined. Cynthia was an immense help in envisioning my wedding decor and working within our budget. Although our wedding was in the fall, we wanted deep, saturated colors, and Cynthia was more than excited to help us plan every piece of that vision. Aside from this creative aspect, Cynthia was organized and up front. There weren't hidden fees or "surprise!"/"gotcha" moments where we realized our total was more than anticipated. In fact, Cynthia met with us several times at our venue to walk through the different areas of our ceremony and reception and plan decor according to our budget. She also offered cost-effective options so that we could work with less expensive supplies we had gathered and turn them into pieces that suggested a higher value. Lastly, if I could upload pictures of my bridal bouquet, I would! It was incredibly beautiful and so much more than I anticipated. Thank you is simply not enough!

I don’t even know where to start with my experience with Cynthia – she was an absolute ROCK STAR! If I could hire her to decorate my home, be my life coach, or personal assistant I totally would. She is organized, has a wonderful sense of style and is super sweet to top it off. She is not your traditional “bridal florist,” which is exactly what I was looking for. She basically helped plan my entire wedding while making the most beautiful bouquets, table arrangements & alter garland I have ever seen. She incorporated all of my ideas and gave great advice on where to make adjustments. I didn’t have a super large budget, so Cynthia made sure that we made the biggest bang with our buck – by incorporating more greens & herbs and picking similar, but lower priced, in-season flowers. I received so many wonderful compliments on my arrangements and all of the small details made the day so special and personal. She was by far my favorite vendor and I can’t imagine working with anyone else. I want to plan another wedding just to be able to work with her again – she seriously is something special. Cynthia has unbelievable creativity and will make your wedding or event something better than you could ever imagine!

Cynthia and her team took a slew of scattered ideas from hundreds of pictures and turned our wedding into something I couldn't have ever envisioned on my own. Everything from our table arrangements to our bouquets and especially the amazing piece her and her team built inspired by a few pictures she had shown me at one of our meetings was everything I wanted plus more. We are truly thankful we chose Cynthia of Oleander Botanicals to be the florist/stylist for our wedding. She was such a valuable asset to have throughout the entire planning process.

We could not have asked for a more perfect florist/stylist. Cynthia was able to take our initial ideas and inspirations and thoughtfully expand upon them without losing the true essence of the two of us. She devoted so much time into our wedding and dealt with last minute changes in our venue, amazingly. I still get chills thinking back to it all. I am so glad I trusted her and all of her ideas.

Everyone is still in awe by what she created for wedding.

For our ceremony, Cynthia scoped out the most spectacular hillside spot at our venue. The setting could not have been more jaw dropping. Her team personally constructed a vintage arch just for our ceremony that was absolutely unbelievable. With all of that around us, we could not have asked for a more comfortable and peaceful ceremony. Incredible.

And the reception…. she is just unreal! Beyond her amazing floral arrangements and collection of vessels; her team constructed suspended Edison bulb Chandeliers, hung scripted mirrors and draped fabric. Thus creating the most chic and comfortable environment for our friends and family! It could not have been more perfect!

I do believe…Cynthia…went above and beyond her call of duty for our wedding and for that we are eternally grateful. I am not sure that any other florist would have been the main calming force through such interesting turn of events. If it had not been for her, our day just would not have been the same. It was truly the perfect atmosphere for us. We will have those memories for a lifetime and they are remarkable.

Anyone who has the honor of working with Cynthia and her team will never regret it!

Cynthia did the most incredible job with our wedding decor, from the bridal bouquet to the decoration of the venue itself. She is very creative and has a strong artistic vision, and her taste is impeccable. She really worked with us to develop our theme and to create something that reflected our personal style, while still letting her own vision and expertise show through. She and her team were very professional on the day of the event. She was focused on ensuring that her team got everything in place, but also took a quick break to save the day when all of the buttons popped off my vintage dress. She was in my dressing room with a glue gun immediately, sorted out the dress, and went right back to completing setup. She did a wonderful job. I will also say that she worked very hard to stay within our budget, which I appreciated. I do not think I could have gotten better value for our budget with any other florist.

She LOVES what she does, and it's hard not to get excited and be smiling when she's talking about your vision with you. Cynthia was amazing to work with and the flowers were gorgeous! She met with me personally and took the time to go over different ideas and options for our wedding. She really listened to what I was envisioning and was able to articulate the theme and feel that I was going for better than I ever could. The flowers were more amazing than I could have imagined. She and her team created a beautiful floral arch that was so well integrated into the backdrop of the gardens, it looked like it already belonged there. She was very open and flexible about our budget as well and easy to talk to plus she gives a full itemized breakdown of costs so you are able to see where your money is going and decide how you want to prioritize. She creates unique and elegant pieces that are not your typical bouquets. If you are going for something a little outside the box, I would highly recommend using Cynthia and Oleander Botanicals.

Cynthia and her staff were absolutely wonderful. We first met in January for the November wedding and she was able to take my random descriptors of wanting the room to feel like the inside of a snow globe and assorted Pinterest pictures and came up with a beautiful plan. I tried to defer to the expert so I wasn't requesting duplication of specific images and I think that's part of why everything came together so well, her talent and creativity shined through. My only disappointment was that I had requested in both our initial walk through and follow up phone call that there be the white strands of lights throughout and I'm not sure if it was an electrical issue but there weren't any present. The only other minor issue I had was that having a late in the year wedding meant my emails and questions sometimes got triaged to the back of the line and I didn't have the itemized proposal until only a few weeks out. When she sent the proposal Cynthia explained that she had had to wait on pricing once the vendors did their seasonal changeover which is completely understandable but a heads up on when things would be received would be beneficial. Similar with emails, if she had responded with even I got your message and will respond when I have sufficient time and it won't be till after the end of the month that would have been great but weeks and sometimes more than a month would go by without response which can be frustrating. Response time is a trade off I'm completely willing to make to get the quality and attention at the event itself but a heads up about message response would be helpful just so clients aren't caught off guard. Overall, I was so pleased both with how the flowers and decor turned out but also with Cynthia and her team. I absolutely will recommend her and hope to be able to use her talents again in the future.
