In keeping with ho‘okipa, Old Lāhaina Lū‘au presents guests with fresh flower lei as they step into a quaint village scene—the first local establishment to offer this service. Their nightly lū‘au begin with interactive games and demonstrations, such as imu unearthing, poi pounding, and kapa making.

Narrations take shape throughout the evening where guests learn about the island’s native heritage, including the reasoning behind local cuisine featured during pāʻina ahiahi.
