Say "I DO" at Cafe Julia Laniakea, Oahu's "Hidden Gem" in the Heart of Downtown Honolulu. We're located directly across the street from "Iolani Palace," the only Palace on US grounds. Cafe Julia is named after the Architect of Laniakea, Julia Morgan. She was one of the handful of Women Architects in the 1920s and quite a Pioneer in her field. Laniakea is the first Public Building in Hawaii that had a Female Architect. Laniakea is also an official "Historic Building" in Hawaii.

Step into Laniakea and Step Back 100 Years! The Charm and Character of the Building, with its Beautiful Arches and attention to detail, is Truly a Work of Art. It's a 1920's Architectural Masterpiece. If you think the Pictures are Beautiful, Wait until you see them in Person!!
There are 3 Venue Spaces included in the "Exclusive" Wedding Package. This is required for Weddings of 60 People or More. We also have a 2 Venue Space Package for 60 people or less. The 3 Venue Spaces included in the "Exclusive" Wedding Package are the Courtyard, Cafe Julia & Elizabeth Fuller Hall.

We do offer a Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and reception. The Ceremony will take place in the Courtyard. After the Ceremony, Guests will head into Cafe Julia for the Cocktail Hour. During this time the Couple, Wedding Party & Family usually take photos. Cafe Julia Staff will then Transition the Courtyard from a Ceremony Set-up to a Reception Set-up. This usually takes about 25-45 minutes, depending on the size of the Party. Elizabeth Fuller Hall would be the backup for the Courtyard Reception Set-up in case of inclement weather. You have until 2 hours before the Ceremony Start time to make the Call if you wish to move into the Banquet Hall. This is how the Space is usually utilized, but there are many options!!

Cafe Julia has been called a "One Stop Shop" by many coordinating companies in Oahu as we provide many In-House Services, and they're all included with any Wedding Package you select. We try to give as much as we can to make it as easy as possible for you!!
