I highly recommend Jim from Offshoots as your florist! I don't know much about flowers and didn't have a solid vision for what I wanted on our wedding day. However, all I had to do was show Jim my wedding gown, bridesmaids dresses, and our venue and he went to town! Our bouquets were GORGEOUS! We wanted sober wedding colors and he made muted tones come to life. He also decorated the ceremony area at Greystone Hall for us (see photos). Finally, our center pieces were amazing!

As the bride, I was able to visit the Feastivities/Offshoots office a few months before the wedding where Jim set up a display of the center pieces/candles for us to approve. Jim is also extremely flexible and open to new ideas. However, usually I just wanted to stick with his amazing ideas! :)

I highly recommend hiring Offshoots and Feastivities (catering) as hand in hand vendors. The more all of your vendors are on the same page, the better! I highly recommend these flowers/decorations to any bride.

I initially went to the meeting with Offshoots with absolutely no ideas as far as flowers or even color scheme. In the hour we met with Jim, I left with a perfect plan for absolutely everything. Jim took one look at the color of my bridesmaid’s dresses and immediately gave us a ton of ideas for how to work with it. Since we got married at a venue that is outside in a garden area, Jim did not oversell flowers. He was very honest on things we would need and things we wouldn’t. Something I appreciated greatly since I had no idea what I was doing! All of our centerpieces were absolutely breathtaking. We had several different options to choose from and ended up going with four different styles; from just greenery, to various riser candles, to beautiful bouquets, there was a little bit of everything. Something that was important to me was candlelight and it was certainly delivered! There were hundreds of votive scatted among all the tables, bringing the four different styles perfectly together. All of the bouquets were beautiful and the little flower crowns and “wands” for the flower girls were just perfect. I would recommend Offshoots to anyone looking for a florist!

We used Offshoots! for our wedding flowers, and are so happy we did. Jim was amazing to work with. Jim knew our venue inside and out, and knew where to place every little piece we had. His communication, as well as the staff at Offshoots!, was outstanding, always getting right back to us. One thing my wife worried about was seeing the flowers before the actual wedding day, which a lot of vendors did not offer. Jim made sure to show her what the centerpieces would look like prior to the event, making less stress for my wife. Thank you Jim and Offshoots! for everything that day. Our wedding flowers were gorgeous. Leeann and I loved them, as well as all our wedding guests. Tons and tons of compliments from the guests! Jim and Offshoots were incredible!

We met Jim from OffShoots at a wedding expo a year before our wedding. We knew, after speaking with him for about 5 minutes, that we wanted him to do our reception décor and flowers. He was able to give us flower advice on the spot which showed his professionalism. We also liked that we were able to rent lanterns, vases, candles for the centerpieces so we didn't have to take home (and figure out what to do with) 18 sets of lanterns and what not. Our centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous and everything we could’ve wanted without going over the top. At the end of the day, we were going to re-purpose all of the bouquets for centerpieces to save on some costs, which was his idea to begin with. The day of, our wedding coordinator told us OffShoots had provided additional flowers for all of the tables at no charge, so all of the bouquets were extra décor. We loved working with them and would definitely recommend them to anyone who’s looking to rent centerpieces or anyone looking for some fun ideas for decorating!

Jim, Melissa, and the whole OffShoots! crew are amazing. They were super organized, and were able to create beautiful arrangements at my wedding. Between the flowers, the candles, and the other votives, my family and I got so many compliments during and after the wedding about the decor and floral arrangements! Not only do they make great work, they are such pleasant people to work with. Thank you so much for making our big day more beautiful than we could of ever asked for!

OffShoots! did an outstanding job with the flowers at our wedding. Jim , the lead floral designer, is extremely nice, friendly and creative, he listens to you to understand your vision and then suggests how to put everything together. I live in upstate New York, so I interacted by email a lot with Melissa , the event planner. She is also extremely nice and very professional and super accommodating. We decided to add florals to the cake relatively close to the wedding; the cake floral design we envisioned added one more color to the whole floral scheme, and this addition was not a problem for Jim and Melissa. They also added the new color to the rest of the pieces. Everything came out beautiful: boutonnières, bouquets, centerpieces, mantle pieces, ceremony flowers and our lush sweetheart table. Oh, the sweetheart table. All guests were truly impressed with the sweetheart table, which was a tasteful explosion of flowers. I'm picky and a little bit of a control freak, but Offshoots! met all my expectations. I highly recommend them because they do a beautiful and creative job, are professional, flexible and friendly, and are reasonably priced. I do have to say that the flowers and arrangements were much prettier at the actual wedding than at the consultation where we reviewed the designs, but I can't complaint about that.

Jim from OffShoots! worked with my dad to create the most beautiful floral arrangements for my wedding. I had a designer taste on a slim budget and Jim was more than accommodating in finding my look for less. Jim sent us a detailed proposal prior to the big day for our approval and was flexible with changes that we requested. The florals were lush and romantic. They really pulled together the other DIY details of my wedding. I'm very, very pleased with OffShoots!

Jim captured my vision EXACTLY! From the lanterns in the church to the farm tables with lace runners and candles - my breath was taken away the moment I walked into our reception. I am still looking at pictures of our flowers and wish they could have lasted forever. I highly recommend OffShoots! for your future wedding!

I love working with the staff from Offshoots. We worked with them because they are partnered with our catering company, so it was very convenient. I worked with 3 different staff members, so at times it was a little confusing as things were overlapping with one another, but closer to the wedding, when I worked with just one person (as someone went out on maternity leave), things were perfected and Jim really helped me achieve the image I was looking for for our wedding. Jim brought my imagination to life for out big day and it was just perfect. Everything just tied into a vintage, glamorous look that we were trying to achieve and was simple but amazing.

Offshoots provided floral arrangements for our ceremony and wedding on March 20th 2015. They were exceptional!!! We worked with Melissa and Jim. Jim came highly recommended to me by my best friend. And he did not disappoint! He is such a talented florist! He executed our vision perfectly. He's truly an exceptional person, he covered every detail, things we didn't even consider before meeting with him. He created in my opinion THE most stunningly beautiful bridal bouquet I have ever seen! He took my somewhat less traditional vision and executed it perfectly! Melissa & Jim were so responsive and such a professional team to work with! From the first phone call, I knew we were in good hands. I cannot stress this enough, work with Offshoots and ask for Jim specifically - he will make your wedding or event vision everything you could have imagined and MORE!!!
