Facilities and Capacity
The dedicated team at October Oaks is proud to help couples host their own one-of-a-kind celebrations at this unforgettable estate. Four distinct event spaces are available to accommodate up to 400 wedding guests. You are welcome to begin your day preparing for the festivities ahead in the venue’s Bridal Cabin. This elegant suite affords you and your bridal party the space to relax and be pampered in privacy and comfort. For an outdoor ceremony, couples are invited to choose from a number of locations throughout the 80-acre estate. For a waterside service, the serene aquaculture pond is an ideal backdrop for your and your guests as you exchange vows. The barn, featuring vaulted ceilings, charming barn-style doors, and eye-catching chandeliers, can accommodate a sit-down dinner with space for a top table and buffet station. When the sun sets, you and your loved ones are welcome to gather around the fire pit to enjoy some s’mores and one another’s company. We are pet friendly as well - your fur babies are welcome!
Services Offered
October Oaks offers venue rental for weddings and other milestone events, including wedding showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners. A dedicated event planner will be on hand throughout your planning process to ensure that every detail of your celebration is carefully considered and executed. The venue’s catering team will craft a range of delectable dishes to be served as hors d'oeuvres or as a plated, buffet, or family-style meal. Friendly and professional bartenders will execute a champagne toast and serve delicious drinks from an open bar. The team also provides the use of a variety of on-site event items, including arches, chairs, tables, elegant centerpieces, and other furniture. The catering staff also provides the use of barware, flatware, china, and linens, as well as a chocolate fountain.

A few things that really sold us on October Oaks are:
- The venue is insanely beautiful and speaks for itself. It's so versatile.
- We also really appreciated that they have an entire building dedicated to wedding decor that their couples are allowed to use.
- Having a venue owner that doubles as a day of coordinator is invaluable. She knows her stuff because it's literally her stuff. lol
- Knowing that we would have a 4-week meeting prior to wedding day to make sure all our ducks were in a row. It really gave us confidence that our day would come, and we wouldn't have to scramble for anything.
When it came time for the reception, they made sure to celebrate with us and keep everything running smoothly.
Booking October Oaks is like becoming a part of their family. You really know that they care about each and every couple that comes their way.

Joyous Wedding experience
Ann is genuine, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. Planning from out of state could have been stressful, but she made every visit, call, and question feel seamless and straightforward. We always felt supported and truly cared for—like we had a calm, capable guide for every step (which is priceless in the world of wedding planning!).
Our guests stayed in Lakeland, and transportation to and from the venue by bus worked perfectly. Every detail came together effortlessly thanks to the thoughtful coordination behind the scenes.
The catering was extraordinary. Michael Mather is a true creative talent in the kitchen—everything from the tasting to the final meal exceeded expectations. Our guests are still talking about the food, especially the mushroom sauce! I’m fairly certain a few people would have taken a to-go container if it had been offered.
Of course, Florida weather had its moment—rain arrived just 10 minutes before the ceremony. But Ann handled it with such calm confidence, keeping guests comfortable and the bride completely at ease. We prayed—and right on time, the rain cleared, the chairs were dried, and everything came together beautifully…with just enough time for everyone to pretend it was all part of the plan.
Ann guided the entire day with grace and wisdom. There are no words to fully capture the joy I felt—it was truly one of the most meaningful days of my life. What stood out most throughout the entire process was Ann’s honesty, clarity, and the genuine care she showed our family.
We feel incredibly blessed to have found October Oaks. It is a unique and beautiful venue, and absolutely worth the search.

Whether you chose to have your event in the gorgeous air conditioned ready barn or 1 of many outdoor areas in their beautiful property, you can not go wrong... Not to mention the Mathers are wonderful people to work with and have thought of everything you need to ensure your event your wedding or special event is perfect...
