From the bottom of our hearts, my husband and I want to say thank you to Ann, Meagan, and the entire October Oaks Team for making our day so far beyond incredible.
From the day you reach out to inquire about having your wedding at this venue, DO IT, Ann will be there to give you all the information you need.
A few things that really sold us on October Oaks are:
- The venue is insanely beautiful and speaks for itself. It's so versatile.
- We also really appreciated that they have an entire building dedicated to wedding decor that their couples are allowed to use.
- Having a venue owner that doubles as a day of coordinator is invaluable. She knows her stuff because it's literally her stuff. lol
- Knowing that we would have a 4-week meeting prior to wedding day to make sure all our ducks were in a row. It really gave us confidence that our day would come, and we wouldn't have to scramble for anything.
When it came time for the reception, they made sure to celebrate with us and keep everything running smoothly.
Booking October Oaks is like becoming a part of their family. You really know that they care about each and every couple that comes their way.

We had 18 months to plan my daughter’s wedding, and choosing October Oaks made the entire experience truly exceptional. From the very beginning, we knew the grounds were something special—it felt like the Holy Spirit frequented the breeze through the majestic oaks and Southern Spanish moss (and if you’ve ever planned a wedding, you know you’ll take all the divine help you can get!). There was a deep sense of peace and joy, and Ann Mathers and her family only confirmed that feeling.
Ann is genuine, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. Planning from out of state could have been stressful, but she made every visit, call, and question feel seamless and straightforward. We always felt supported and truly cared for—like we had a calm, capable guide for every step (which is priceless in the world of wedding planning!).
Our guests stayed in Lakeland, and transportation to and from the venue by bus worked perfectly. Every detail came together effortlessly thanks to the thoughtful coordination behind the scenes.
The catering was extraordinary. Michael Mather is a true creative talent in the kitchen—everything from the tasting to the final meal exceeded expectations. Our guests are still talking about the food, especially the mushroom sauce! I’m fairly certain a few people would have taken a to-go container if it had been offered.
Of course, Florida weather had its moment—rain arrived just 10 minutes before the ceremony. But Ann handled it with such calm confidence, keeping guests comfortable and the bride completely at ease. We prayed—and right on time, the rain cleared, the chairs were dried, and everything came together beautifully…with just enough time for everyone to pretend it was all part of the plan.
Ann guided the entire day with grace and wisdom. There are no words to fully capture the joy I felt—it was truly one of the most meaningful days of my life. What stood out most throughout the entire process was Ann’s honesty, clarity, and the genuine care she showed our family.
We feel incredibly blessed to have found October Oaks. It is a unique and beautiful venue, and absolutely worth the search.

Couldn’t have asked for a better vendor and venue. Our day was absolutely beautiful and Ann was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. leading up to our big day she was attentive and always answered our questions as quick as possible. Her husband Michael was a phenomenal cook, and our guest absolutely loved his food. Got a lot of compliments on his cooking and choosing him. I would 100% recommend this venue to anybody who is looking for a beautiful place and an absolutely incredible staff!!!

Our experience of having our wedding at October Oaks was beyond words! The location is of course breath taking, but one of the most incredible parts of October Oaks that makes it so so amazing is the owner of the venue, Ann. She is without a doubt one of the most caring sweet people there is. She will make sure your wedding goes exactly how you picture it. She’s beyond just the owner of the venue, she will make sure your wedding is absolutely perfect! She cares so much about making sure your wedding is the wedding of your dreams. The whole wedding was exactly how I pictured it and more. Just a truly truly amazing night! The whole venue is so beautiful! It looks like it is out of a fairy tail! -

Best venue ever!!
October oaks was incredible!! The Mather family made our wedding day flawless and smooth. They were so kind every step of the way. Everything from booking, touring, payments, decorating, and the day off was easy and understandable! We had a few hurdles along the way and they didn’t skip a beat with accommodations and understanding.
I was virtually stress free my wedding day and it is 100% because of the Mather family!
The venue itself was spacious, clean and stunning! With multiple ceremony spots in a beautiful secluded area of Florida! -

Ann, the owner, is amazing. She was so open and excited to having her first gothic styled wedding at the venue. She helped every step of the way. Pictures of the venue don’t even do it justice. Every inch of the venue is beautiful and her staff is so nice and easy going, we thoroughly enjoyed all of them. -

The most amazing venue!
We cannot express how thankful we are to Ann and her team for making our day so special! Not only is this venue absolutely gorgeous, but the coordinator, Ann, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was with us every step of the way and was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had during the planning process. She is truly amazing and it is because of her that our special day went off without a hitch. -

Anne and her team were outstanding! From the final walkthrough to the rehearsal to the breakdown and cleanup, she was there every step of the way with the biggest smile on her face. You can tell how passionate she is about her couples and her property! She made everyone feel like part of the family and made for an amazing atmosphere and experience for the entire wedding process. Beautiful venue! Very spacious and so many things included. Ann has the best customer service and makes It all About the bride. She has so many things to use and gives ideas. Day of she is spot on. This was one of the best decisions we made. -

I can't say enough about how beautiful October Oaks Farm is for a wedding venue! There pricing is incredible for what you get as well. There are many different locations on the property to have your ceremony and the barn being air conditioned is a huge bonus. I have never seen a wedding venue where so much is included in the pricing. They allow you to use their items for decorations if wanted (saves a lot of money), they are so very flexible with you bringing in/using your own vendors, and the fact that the the Bridal Cabin is available all day to the bridal party makes it a very special day/time with those in your wedding party.
The staff is AMAZING!!! They are so completely dedicated to making it the most special day for the wedding couple. It was a wonderful and stress free day as they took care of need, want, desire, last minute change, etc. with gracious and loving attitudes.
I really can't stress enough how wonderful the staff and venue are. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! -

4....3...2..1. The Perfect Wedding Venue for a Countdown Wedding
October Oaks was beyond breathtaking. They helped make the entire wedding process easy. They have several areas where you can choose to have your ceremony and have different arches as a backdrop. I was fortunate for my wedding day because Michael and Ann built a new Rockwall to add to their collection of places to take photos at. The venue had several decorations, centerpieces, cake tables, couches, props, etc., to use for Free to make the venue your own. I didn't have to worry about paying out of pocket for any of it. Ann was an outstanding wedding planner; everything went smoothly during my wedding because of her. They had provided a pamphlet with vendors in the area to help make the search easier when finding a DJ, photographer, or bakery. She made sure to talk through how the whole ceremony would go down and kept everything running on time. Ann was an absolute sweetheart and would go out of her way to make sure your wedding would be stress-free. Michael and Ann made everyone feel like family. -

After countless hours searching the internet and several disappointing venue tours, my now husband and I visited October Oaks. As soon as we stepped onto the property, we instantly felt peace.
This venue was perfect. It was gorgeous, an amazing value, and made for an awesome wedding! The decorations the venue has are so gorgeous and saved us hundreds of dollars! We were also to save on the cost of a day-of-coordinator. Ann ran rehearsal and was there the entire wedding day making sure everything ran perfectly, and she was only an email away during the planning process! Ann was totally the backbone of our wedding. She worked well with all of our other vendors, so our wedding went off without a hitch. At the end of the day, she felt like family! We all were SO thankful for Ann!
I cannot recommend this venue enough. It was a little more of an investment than some of the other venues we looked at, but when we factored in how much we saved in bar service, rentals, and a coordinator, we ended up saving tons of money. You really have to see this venue for yourself, and you definitely won't regret it. -

I felt like family!
From the beginning to the end Ann and Michael are there to answer your questions and walk you through the process. I can honestly say I had my dream wedding at this unbelievably beautiful venue. Don't waste money on a day of coordinator especially since Ann is there and knows the place better then anyone. I might have been asked 2 questions all day otherwise Ann took care of it all. She was sure to be on time and if any deviation at all in the timeline she was sure to figure it out. It was all a dream from the planning to the day of. I would recommend this venue to any bride that is looking for the perfect outdoor/barn wedding. I felt like I was apart of their family the whole time and especially with COVID Ann was sure to keep in touch often and let us know their plans. I was never stressed or worried because she always had a plan. We are so grateful we were able to get married in this beautiful place! 10/10 recommend October Oaks. -

The moment we got out of the car and onto the property, my fiancé and I felt an instant peace. The venue is on a large property where you can’t hear traffic and you can see the stars at night. We toured several places before coming to October Oaks and Ann, the owner, was the only one who talked about the wedding in terms of the beginning of our marriage — and I could just instantly tell that she cared so much about making sure our wedding would be wonderful. The venue itself is beautiful and elegant, but to me what sets October Oaks apart is Ann. She is so kind, and thoughtful but boy does she run a tight ship. I am super type A, but felt totally confident that Ann had everything under control. Her and her family genuinely care about the couples that get married here. I cannot say enough good things about October Oaks. -

Out of this World!
October Oaks is by far the most amazing wedding venue. From the first meeting, to returning for friends weddings, Mrs Ann and Mr Michael make you feel apart of the October Oaks family every time.
Mrs Ann is caring, informative, and extremely organized; she will help you EVERY step of the way.
Mr Michael is the most amazing caterer, a year later people are still talking about our wedding food.

I am an October Oaks bride and proud of it! This place is not just a venue it’s a family and you feel it!
They make you feel like they are there for you and whatever your needs are they are there to meet them!
Ann and Michael are the sweetest, most genuine people you will ever come into contact with!
Honestly this was our 2nd venue we toured and everyone... I mean everyone that came with us, my husband, my parents and his parents fell completely in love with the venue and Ann right away! We wanted to keep our wedding close to home and this venue was an hour or so away but my groom and I knew this was it!!! Ann is very personality A, she answered all our questions and put our wonders at ease with her words and her actions! Anything we wanted was up for trying and working out! She made the best suggestions for us that we would have never thought to ask.
We chose her husband Michael at Michaels cuisines for our caterer after our tasting! Not only was the food amazing... everyone at our wedding raved about the food but he was the best to work with! He was very accommodating and he felt like an uncle to me! We were in contact about the food and ever changing numbers and any questions or changes I had. I truly cannot say enough about October Oaks! They make you feel like family and never make you feel like a price tag. From letting you use their decor to opening up their venue to let you see what decor works for you! I would recommend this venue to any bride that wants their dream wedding to come to life with the most amazing group of people you could ever imagine!! Nothing but love radiates from the family at October Oaks! When considering a venue you would be doing yourself and injustice to not meet Ann and Michael and see their venue!! -

The venue itself is so rustic chic and beautiful it’s breathtaking! The owners did such an amazing job constructing the perfect modern barn on the most elegant plot of land in central Florida. Working with them is a pleasure, as they see to your every need and make things happen. Ann is amazing when it comes to day-of coordination, and she pulled all of my wedding together with setting up the decor for the reception. October oaks also provides countless options for decor and decorations that are included in the price, including ceremony arch options. I’m very pleased with my choice! -

I cannot put into words just how amazing Ann was! She kept us sane during the whole process, from planning to the day of! She and her assistant took care of EVERYTHING and we didn’t have to lift a finger on our wedding day. Not only was the venue beautiful and breathtaking, we also saved SO much money since they provide the chairs, tables, and an impressive amount of decor to choose from. Beautiful Venue
I don't have enough words to express how incredible this venue and this family are. We visited the venue 2 years before our wedding and I knew it was THE ONE. Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful, the owners are some of the most genuine and selfless people I've met. There are so many beautiful ceremony spots, you are for sure to find a place that fits your vision. The barn was perfectly set up for cocktails, dinner, and dancing. Everything about the venue was PERFECT.
Ann and Michael are so welcoming to their guests and treating everyone as family. Ann was quick to respond to emails and answered all questions that I had. She also let me visit the venue a few times between booking and the wedding so I could show it off to my family and bridesmaids. Michael was our caterer and I couldn't be more pleased with how it all turned out. Our guests still make it a point to mention his food when talking about our wedding. Michael was also quick with emails and helped with perfecting our menu. He even helped with last minute dietary restrictions. Having my wedding at this venue and working with this family is a major highlight of my wedding, you won't regret choosing October Oaks for your wedding. -

When Tim and I first set foot on the land October Oaks sits on we knew it was where we would be married. The serenity of the space and the warmth and gentle kindness Ann shared with us as she showed us her beautiful property was something you just don’t feel in many venues (we did not feel it anywhere else we visited)! Coupled with that it was clear Ann really knew and cared about how each wedding she hosts is run. The level of thought put into all the of the details throughout the bridal cabin and barn makes for such an elevated yet grounded event, just what we were going for on such a special occasion. Tim and I are huge lovers of Mother Earth and Ann and Michael were completely open to working with us to achieve a wedding that was in alignment with our desire to tread lightly and reduce waste. I cannot praise them or this space enough. Oh, and Michaels’ cuisine was a huge hit. Delicious. -

Ugh, there aren't words. Once my husband and I visited and saw the ceremony sites, we knew we wanted to get married here. Ann is INCREDIBLE to work with-- she really loves her brides & she made the whole day flawless and special for us. If we could do it all again, we would pick this venue in a heartbeat! We had so many guests say how beautiful it was as well! -

I would highly recommend this venue. I am a wedding videographer and I have filmed a wedding at this venue recently. They were very helpful. I think it is very important for venues to work well with the vendors to make sure that the wedding is the best it can be. They even helped me bring my gear to and from my car. -

Our wedding at October Oaks was an absolute dream. The venue is incredibly beautiful, clean, well appointed, and well kept. Each one of our vendors and guests raved about the beauty and unique atmosphere. Beautiful and Serene
I attended my friends wedding 3.8.19, "The Motts", and I must say the entire venue was beautifully decorated inside and outside.
There is not enough words to express about Ann and Michael's venue. They were very professional and kind hearted the moment I met them both as well as the other staff members. Though Ann was still setting up the venue the moment I arrived, whatever the ladies needed, she took the time to assist them without any hesitation. Guest's were driven to the venue from the parking area as well to prevent further walking long distance.
The food was AAA+++ phenomenal (homemade mushroom sauce is to die for), as too the DJ and bartender's and everyone else!
Thank you Ann, Michael, and staff for making my friends wedding a fairy tale come true.

October Oaks is an absolutely amazing venue! Ann and Michael Mather go out of their way to make sure your day is everything and more that you've dreamed it to be. Extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. They are genuine and kind and make you feel like you are family. The venue is gorgeous! Spacious for big or small weddings and it is the perfect combination of classy, romantic and rustic. The bridal cabin is so fun to spend the day getting ready with your girls. Bring... in lunch and just relax! So many options for ceremony sites throughout the property and of course the barn is absolutely breathtaking and makes for a perfect reception! We are so blessed to have had our wedding here and HIGHLY recommend booking them for any couple looking for the perfect place to have their wedding. I wish we could go back and replay this night over and over! It was a truly magical evening! Thank you October Oaks for making our day unforgettable!!!

From the bridal suite to the barn to the arbor, the venue is perfectly cared for, maintained and updated. Ann and Michael are incredibly organized, knowledgeable and can do everything from wedding plan to cater (not to mention amazingly kind and easy to work with). If I had another event or family party I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Ann and Michael were absolutely a delight to work with. We got married on 10/9/2021 and it was the wedding we had been dreaming of!
They helped us from the first meeting until the end, always helping with ideas, vendors, etc.
Michael did the catering which was absolutely delicious and very well priced. Everyone is still talking about the food. He helped us build an amazing menu!
All the helpers and staff were amazing, happy, smiling and so willing to help. Ann and Michael made it a point to check in on us the entire night, everything from making sure we had food, drinks, where having a good time etc. our guest were in aww of how well the night and wedding went off without a hitch!
If you are thinking of having a wedding at October Oaks do it! You will not regret it, find another Venus that will compare or a better more passionate couple that will make your dream wedding come true! -

The venue was beautiful we loved the oak trees and open space! And it was perfectly priced for us! One thing that I would recommend is to get your own day of coordinator. The venue owner was also the day of coordinator that was included, but I think it was too much for her to do both jobs. She also sent me down the aisle too early, which was a bummer. Overall we love this venue and would recommend with your own day of coordinator!
