I would argue that your DJ makes or breaks your wedding reception, and Obehi made our reception the best ever!! When people talk about our wedding, they always talk about how amazing the DJ was! Obehi took the time to meet with us to get to know us, and it felt like he was one of our friends by the time wedding day came around. We fully trusted him because he is so skilled at his craft, and he did not disappoint. Not only did he get the vibes up, and the dance floor bumping, but he also did an amazing job announcing everything throughout the night. He was so fun and upbeat and made sure everyone was having a good time! Our dance floor was packed because of him and we had the time of our lives. I would hire him again and again, and recommend him to everyone!! Hire Obehi!! You will not be disappointed.

Outstanding work from an even more outstanding person! He kept the crowd going all night and then some! Party aside, Obehi really cares about his clients and wants to make sure that the night is about them. Not the parents, not the aunties, it’s about the bride and groom. He has a great eye and ear for detail and does a fantastic job of reading the room. For example, without skipping a beat he was explaining to our non-African guests different parts of our reception and including them and making it an environment that everyone could enjoy. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about my experience with Ohebi. We truly couldn’t have found anyone else more perfect for the job.

DJ BWrenn is the absolute best. Our wedding was this June and we still are getting complimented on how fun and engaging our reception was. I cannot recommend Cheers, The Collective enough!

We received lots of compliments about our wedding, but our DJ was hands down the most complimented part. Like by a lot. I remember someone said “Lily. Your DJ is 100 out of 10.” and our venue coordinator (who has seen a lot of weddings) was like “Seriously, where did you find this guy?” and said they need to add him to their list of recommended DJs. I also had multiple guests ask if he was single…

From the ceremony music and microphones, to the cocktail hour musical ambiance, to the first dance and speeches, Obehi was locked in and working the room to make sure everything went smoothly and ensure everyone was having a great time. He had all kinds of fancy equipment and was there early with bells on to get it all set up. It was all seamless with zero hiccups. He was out on the dance floor hyping people up, dancing, and just giving 110% all night long.

Obehi is one hell of a DJ. I saw family members who I haven’t seen crack a smile in a decade busting moves on the dance floor. Obehi gets the people going. There’s no doubt about that. That being said, he’s also a really lovely human and we loved having him there as a part of our wedding. You can tell he loves what he does and loves people. He was genuine, warm, and kind every step of the way. He met with us a few weeks before the wedding and made us feel like it was his life’s purpose to get every detail perfect for us. And he delivered 1000%. Best choice we made for our wedding. Worth every single penny!!!
