Outstanding work from an even more outstanding person! He kept the crowd going all night and then some! Party aside, Obehi really cares about his clients and wants to make sure that the night is about them. Not the parents, not the aunties, it’s about the bride and groom. He has a great eye and ear for detail and does a fantastic job of reading the room. For example, without skipping a beat he was explaining to our non-African guests different parts of our reception and including them and making it an environment that everyone could enjoy. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about my experience with Ohebi. We truly couldn’t have found anyone else more perfect for the job. -

We received lots of compliments about our wedding, but our DJ was hands down the most complimented part. Like by a lot. I remember someone said “Lily. Your DJ is 100 out of 10.” and our venue coordinator (who has seen a lot of weddings) was like “Seriously, where did you find this guy?” and said they need to add him to their list of recommended DJs. I also had multiple guests ask if he was single…
From the ceremony music and microphones, to the cocktail hour musical ambiance, to the first dance and speeches, Obehi was locked in and working the room to make sure everything went smoothly and ensure everyone was having a great time. He had all kinds of fancy equipment and was there early with bells on to get it all set up. It was all seamless with zero hiccups. He was out on the dance floor hyping people up, dancing, and just giving 110% all night long.
Obehi is one hell of a DJ. I saw family members who I haven’t seen crack a smile in a decade busting moves on the dance floor. Obehi gets the people going. There’s no doubt about that. That being said, he’s also a really lovely human and we loved having him there as a part of our wedding. You can tell he loves what he does and loves people. He was genuine, warm, and kind every step of the way. He met with us a few weeks before the wedding and made us feel like it was his life’s purpose to get every detail perfect for us. And he delivered 1000%. Best choice we made for our wedding. Worth every single penny!!!

My husband and I cannot recommend Obehi enough!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! Obehi made our wedding evening so incredible, magical, and unforgettable. From the very beginning, he set the tone for a night full of joy, energy, and so much love. He truly exceeded every expectation and gave us and our guests an experience we will cherish forever.
Obehi's kind heart, vibrant spirit, and deep passion for his craft were so evident in every moment of the night. He didn’t just play music — he created a celebration that reflected exactly who we are. The way he read the crowd, kept the energy alive, and brought everyone together on the dance floor was nothing short of amazing. People of all ages were dancing, smiling, and having the time of their lives — and that’s because of Obehi!
We’re still hearing from our guests about how much fun they had and how unforgettable the music and energy were. Obehi brought our vision to life and turned our reception into a dream. It was better than we ever imagined, and so much of that is thanks to him! Our son even got to DJ for a song and it was the highlight of the evening for us and the highlight of our son's LIFE!!

Amazing DJ!
We had the absolute best experience with DJ E and Cheers Collective for our wedding! DJ E is a friend of ours who came highly recommended, and he completely exceeded our expectations. From the very beginning, he was flexible, easy to work with, and took the time to really get to know us and our vision for the day.
He curated an incredible playlist based on our pre-wedding meeting and absolutely nailed the vibe we were going for. From cocktail hour to the final song, he was engaging, professional, and kept the energy high. The dance floor was packed all night long—we’re still getting compliments on how fun the party was and how amazing our DJ was!
DJ E brought all the necessary equipment, and the sound quality was top-notch. He was also funny, personable, engaging to our guests, and incredibly professional which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Working with Cheers Collective was seamless—their process was organized, stress-free, and very reasonably priced for the level of service we received. We would hire them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ who truly cares and delivers a memorable experience! -

I don’t have enough good things to say about DJ Obehi! As a professional dancer, obviously I’m a firm believer that the DJ can make or break a dance floor, and DJ Obehi absolutely MADE IT! Not only did he pick out music for our dance floor that was so specific and special to us, but he also was an amazing MC throughout the day. He absolutely brought the energy up! The whole process of booking with him was so smooth and easy, and he definitely has an amazing reputation out there - even the ABC license people had heard of him and told me he was the best and they were jealous! We even had a piñata at our wedding, and DJ Obehi was so game with our song and introducing it - he even threw me the bat! All of our guests absolutely LOVED Obehi. Hire him - you won’t regret it! -

My wife and I truly believe that a good DJ is key to a wedding people will enjoy and remember for years to come. Obehi is not just a good DJ, he is an INCREDIBLE DJ. It has been over a month since our wedding and we STILL have people talking about how great he was. Even the ones who had already booked a DJ were wishing they had booked Obehi. He not only met with us he really got to know us and our story. He then worked with us to weave that story into our music used throughout the night. Come reception time, he made sure to accommodate all our needs regarding what to play, what not to play, and even met with us again when we changed our minds after the first meeting to make sure he knew what we wanted. We could not recommend Obehi more. If you truly want a DJ to take your wedding to the next level you can stop searching here! -

Best DJ Ever!
Obehi truly made our wedding night unforgettable! His energy was infectious, and he played ALL of our requested songs. From start to finish, he kept the party alive and ensured everyone had a fantastic time. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Highly recommend him for any event!

Obehi DJ'd our wedding and made it the most epic day ever! I think people often forget that the DJ not only does the music, but is also the MC of your event. Obehi can command a room in the most light hearted, entertaining way. He knows how to direct people's attention, make announcements, etc.
My husband and I have polar opposite music taste. When we met with Obehi to discuss music we were telling him about a million different things, anyone else would have been totally lost. Somehow Obehi played the absolute best mix of music that satisfied everyone at our wedding, young and old. People I would have never expected were on the dance floor the whole night. I could not leave to go to the bathroom because he was playing banger after banger.
If you want a party, go with Obehi, if you want a snooze fest maybe go with someone else (actually he could probably do that too if that's what you really want). He is the BEST of the best. -

We LOVED Obehi!! We had chatted with a few other DJs, but none of them "clicked." Then we talked to Obehi. His energy and enthusiasm and love of DJing was bursting through the phone. Our wedding was on a smaller scale compared to many of the weddings that we attended, so we were concerned that it may be more difficult to get/keep the dance floor going. From the second the reception started, it was clear that absolutely was not going to be the case thanks to Obehi. Our friends and family loved Obehi already from his very funny announcement that our ceremony would be unplugged (and let me tell you, not one person had their phone out after Obehi's announcement) so they were eager to get on the dance floor. Our music was amazing, everyone danced all night. A friend of mine said to me at the end of the night, "I don't think I've ever even took note of a wedding DJ, but I'll remember Obehi!"

"Obehi was an absolute rockstar DJ at our wedding! He was incredibly professional and easy to work with leading up to the event, and on the day of our reception, he truly exceeded our expectations. Obehi had everyone on the dance floor all night long with his excellent music selection and seamless transitions. His ability to read the crowd and keep the energy high was truly remarkable. We received numerous compliments from our guests about how great the music was, and many of them specifically commented on how amazing Obehi was as a DJ. All I can say is WOW. BOOK OBEHI!!!!!!!! I was so scared to book a DJ for my wedding because, being honest, many of them are not that great. I talked to TONS of people in the wedding business about tips for wedding planning and so many of them kept recommending Obehi. One wedding planner literally said, "I'd book Obehi before you book any of your other vendors, he makes that much of a difference for your wedding day." I took her advice and I'm so glad I did! His personality, professionalism, and outstanding skill were well worth the money. He met with my fiance and I for over two hours to figure out all the details for the wedding music and it felt like we were hanging with an old friend. Then on the day of the wedding he came early, set up all his stuff, and was prepared. He went above and beyond his requirements to make the day fun and memorable. SO many family and friends said he's the best wedding DJ they've ever seen and we agree. If you want your day to feel energetic, fun, friendly, special and personal then BOOK OBEHI! I promise you won't regret it. -

I can sum this review up in two words: HIRE OBEHI. Obehi was our wedding dj and did an absolutely outstanding job. We gave him somewhat vague directions like "at cocktail hour, play the types of music you'd hear in a romcom montage" and he absolutely nailed it. When we were at cocktail hour, we could hear the music and we literally asked our photographer to let us leave our photos early so we could go hang out at cocktail hour because the music was so good. He kept the party going all night and was able to incorporate the wide variety of genres we requested. The next morning and following days, we had multiple unprompted comments from guests talking about how great our DJ was. He took the time before the wedding to have a really in depth conversation with us about what we wanted, didn't want, and we totally felt like Obehi was on our team the whole day. Hiring Obehi is a no brainer!! -

We all three sat together on FaceTime to talk about the details of our music, expectations, and how to make every moment special for us. Obehi surely knows how to work a crowd, but behind the scenes he's actually working to make this day what it should be - about YOU and the story of your love. Our families and friends had the BEST time with Obehi - we got so many compliments about him, and we weren't at all surprised, but were SOOO glad we decided to invite Obehi in to make that magic happen. He's a friend for life as he'll tell you and totally worth the investment! -

If you think all wedding DJ’s are the same—think again. Obehi made our night so incredibly special & fun. Not only is he a skilled DJ (he seamlessly blended traditional Arabic music & contemporary music with ease), but he has an amazing personality. He’s fun, outgoing, and most importantly, truly cares about his clients. He listened to every request we had as far as the flow of the night, the type of music we wanted, the songs we didn’t want played, etc. Everyone wants to be on the dance floor when Obehi is the DJ (and trust me, our dance floor was packed until the end of the night). I cannot recommend him enough. Obehi, if you read this, I can only hope I attend more weddings that you are at, because nothing will ever compare. -

Obehi was THE reason our dinner and reception was such a sucess! He made a personalized playlist for the whole day based on our specific music tastes (ranging from disco, early to mid 2000s, soundtracks, and composers) it truly was a playlist meant for my now husband and myself and our families. We received SO many compliments on Obehi. His energy level did not change whether it was the first 30 minutes of our wedding or 6 hours later. He made sure everyone was having a great time and really felt like one of my family members because he's just that personable. Cannot recommend him enough -

Obehi was the first vendor I booked, and I even checked his availability before setting our date, for good reason! In my mind, there was nobody else who could or should DJ our wedding. I had been to many weddings by the time I was planning my own, and had been to numerous weddings DJed by Obehi, and they were always on another level. His ease as a public speaker and host, his incredible taste and skill with music, his care into making the event our own, and his abundant energy getting, keeping, and joining our guests on the dance floor all made him the perfect man for the job. He worked extra with my parents on a presentation surprise for me, and again and again went above and beyond. He set the tone for our wedding, and it was exactly what we hoped it would be. -

I had been to a high school dance where Obehi was the DJ. He was the best DJ I had ever heard ! None of the parents wanted to leave the dance after they took pictures of their kids.
I knew when my daughter was getting married we had to have him DJ the reception. Obehi did not disappoint. His personality engages all ages and he gets all out on the dance floor having a wonderful time. I highly recommend Obehi for a great dance party !! -

Obehi has an infectious energy that is on display from the very first phone call up through the wedding itself. We got married on 10.31.20, and our friends have NOT stopped talking about how amazing Obehi was. When people see us at other events (birthday parties, baby showers, etc.) they bring up OUR wedding! These are the actual words of guests:

If you want the most unforgettable wedding day, you're insane if you look any further than Obehi. He literally had my crowd laughing and CHEERING before our ceremony to distract them from a technical difficulty the venue was experiencing. He's hilarious, he's invested, and he's just a straight up blast. My family is obsessed, my guests were blown away. There are no words to describe how influential a DJ can be on your entire wedding night, and Obehi made ours 100000% perfect. -

If you want the best, OBEHI is the man. As not only a mom of a bride that hired him for my daughter's wedding, but also a venue owner, I can confirm you will not find anyone that will create a more fun memorable event like OBEHI. I have many DJ's at our venue and many of them are fantastic, but OBEHI is on a different level! WORTH EVERY PENNY! When picking your DJ remember this, at the end of the night what do you want your guest to remember? If you answer that question with the word "fun night" then you need to book OBEHI. I guarantee you will have no regrets. -

The BEST DJ you could hire!
I don’t know that I have enough kind words to say about Obehi. First off, he was the consummate professional - knew exactly what we needed and helped to deliver. He kept everyone moving throughout the night and our guests LOVED IT! Besides that, he makes you truly feel like you are heard and does everything he can to make it a night to remember. A cool note: he really edits the music during dinner to reflect what the couple’s tastes are - for us, it was 90s R&B and people couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved the choices!
The greatest thing about Obehi though is that you can truly tell that he loves what he does. I couldn’t recommend him any higher!! -

Stop looking for DJs right now and BOOK OBEHI! Every guest at our wedding said, and continues to say, that he was the best DJ they have ever seen - and we could not agree more. The love of what he does is easily seen and pours into every second of the night. He doesn't just DJ, he interacts. His energy is electric and it spread to every guest at our wedding as we all danced the night away.

Obehi was the best DJ I could have ever imagined. I initially found him via a friend on Facebook how was raving about him as she had hired Obehi for her wedding as well. I then went on to read more reviews and could find nothing but 5 stars everywhere. I booked Obehi and he traveled all the way from Lynchburg to Savannah for my wedding. He was super flexible and so easy and great to work with. Obehi has such an energizing, captivating personality which is what makes him such an amazing entertainer. He meets with you a few times before the wedding to get a sense of what you would like played then he really develops the night into something perfect for your day. He knows how to read a room and knows what to play and when to play hit. He is so engaging with the crowd and will get out there and dance too! My guests absolutely loved him and even asked for his contact info for their future bookings as well. Even the staff at the Westin were raving about the DJ service. I am so so happy with Obehi and absolutely recommend him hands down!!! -

Obehi is an INCREDIBLE DJ! We pushed back our wedding date, mostly so he could DJ for us. He is professional, fun, and knows how to make you feel comfortable and keep the crowd going. My friends said this was the best dance party, with the best music they've been to! Obehi's DJ-ing was top notch and made the dance party flow seamlessly. You will NOT be disappointed if you choose him. He also, personalizes the songs to exactly what you want, and customizes everything. WE LOVE OBEHI. We cannot imagine any other DJ dj-ing our wedding. I have never experienced a DJ bring such authentic passion and energy into an event. He was incredibly organized in planning parts of the day we hadn’t even thought about. I recently got married, and I wanted our reception to be one to remember. I wanted people up and dancing and to have a great time overall. Providing an exceptional experience for our guests was important to us, and Obehi far exceeded our expectations. Obehi truly has a gift for playing to the audience and knowing what their tastes are. Obehi was our DJ for our wedding and he was amazing. We have a very eclectic taste in music, pretty much just said play anything except x and gave him our favorite spotify playlist. He was able to narrow it down and pick some of the best of the best weaving in between 60, 70, 80s, 2000s, beyonce, taylor swift and even some reggae with no problem.
Obehi kept the party going and joined in on the dancing a lot. Thanks for being an amazing disc jockey -
