Northwoods Michigan Events hosts engagement parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. It offers a choice of indoor and covered and uncovered outdoor event spaces. The venue comprises the Mt. Maria ceremony site, a greenhouse reception space, and a 1,200-acre rustic retreat halfway between Tawas City and Hubbard Lake, in the heart of Huron National Forest. The Mt. Maria ceremony site overlooks Hubbard Lake. This breathtakingly beautiful ceremony space has bathrooms and a wedding suite and can seat up to 200 guests. The Gothic-style greenhouse is situated just a few miles from the beaches of Tawas Bay. It measures over 6,200 square feet and is perfect for couples who love the outdoors but don't want to have to deal with the potential hassles and headaches caused by rain and inclement weather. The peaceful and picturesque rustic retreat includes four custom-built log cabins and can sleep up to 36 people.
