This was expensive, but our wedding album was worth the money.

We engaged Mr. Rose to take a photo shoot of a three generation family (grandparents, their three son's families and grandchildren) on the event of their 80th Birthdays. We paid the advanced sitting fee and we had a 1 hour long photo shoot with group pictures, individual family pictures, grandparent and grandchildren pictures, etc.

After the shoot, we selected the photos we wanted and paid Mr. Rose over $1,400 for the prints. We discussed making edits to specific pictures which Mr. Rose offered, and initially, he was cordial and polite. However, in subsequent meetings and emails, Mr. Rose became very difficult to work with on the edits we requested and stopped responding to my brother and mother. More recently, I attempted to contact Mr. Rose over the course of the past three months writing 4 separate emails and calling his business number also 4 times. Mr. Rose did not respond to any of my email or return any of my phone calls.
We have paid Mr. Rose over $1,400 for photos of our extended family for our Parent's 80th Birthday, and we have never received the photos or an explanation as to why.

i had a very mixed and ultimately negative experience with jeff rose, the photographer. 1) we did not receive the amount of photos paid for ( 6 hours, 200 photots) we received 150 photos for the six hours. 2) there was no picture provided of my father and I, a major wedding shot! his explanation was, that either my father or i blinked in both shots. so you might ask yourself "who only takes two father/bride pics?" especially when they are using digital and can check the photos instantly?????? 3) my wedding was at Felicita, a gorgeous venue, with amazing gardens. i was supposed to be married in the gardens, but it rained. when i asked if mr. rose intended to provide a rain date to make up for the 50 missing photos...allowing me to get the garden photos, he stated that he did not, and that he beleived it was obvious why not enough photos were taken (the rain). 4) he did not provide any refund despite 25% of the photos not being provided. 5) he, in one email during my communication stated that he could provide 50 of the rejected images. 6) i felt that overall he was very unprofessional and rude once the photos had been paid for. a complete change in how he behaved prior. 7) though most of the images we received were of good quality, some very important pictures were not done well. all the pics of my husband's family were blurred toward the left hand side of the pic.

overall, i would never recommend this photographer, and am sorry that he took my wedding photos. after experiencing many other wedding photographers through my friends and family's weddings, seeing their work, learning of their cost....he just does not compare. the way he presented himself initially was a far cry from how he was after being paid for his work.
