We rented out the entire venue and got married outdoors on the deck at Nonesuch River brewing on October 9th. The venue was perfect for our unique wedding, had everything we wanted, and we knew from the walk through, this was where we wanted to get hitched. The venue is beautiful, from the outdoor porch area, to the mezzanine and down to the bar area. Heather was great through the whole process; very patient, kind, and compassionate to all of our requests. She was generous with her time, we had multiple planning sessions and she ensured all the small details were accounted for. Ashley was able to drop off the decor a couple of days before our ceremony. Heather and the team did a great job setting up just as we described and making the venue beautiful. The day of the wedding she made sure all of our needs were met through both the ceremony and reception, offering to grab us a plate to ensure we made time to eat, accommodating our requests for pictures down on the brew deck and around the tanks. The entire staff was incredible the whole evening; the managers, bartenders, wait staff all very courteous taking care of our guests and providing outstanding service the entire night. Always with a smile, making sure everybody had a full glass and was having a great time.

Let’s get to the food, what can I say but it was all excellent. From the appetizer’s, pretzel bites (these were a favorite, trust me, these are must try’s) cheese platter, bruschetta through the main courses Chicken, steak and salmon, sides, everything was great. Guests were going up for seconds and thirds, and we heard multiple compliments on how delicious everything was and how awesome the staff was.

My wife and I are craft beer enthusiasts so we were ecstatic that they would brew us our very own beer for our ceremony. The process was smooth, we met with the brewers Michael and Brian to go over our favorite style, favorite hops, the ABV we were looking for the beer to be and let them run with that info. Once it was in the tanks, we got to name it and try it a week before the wedding. It came out amazing. The best compliment I can say is friends and family who don’t normally drink the style of beer we created (hazy NEIPA), were drinking it the entire night. It was definitely a hit at the wedding, and a perfect touch for us; Michael and Brian knocked it out of the park.

All in all, we were very impressed with our entire experience at Nonesuch River Brewing, the staff, food, drinks, and ambiance were spectacular and perfect for our special day. We aimed for a unique wedding, we wanted all of our guests to have fun celebrating with us. They had the bar open when guests arrived so they could grab a drink for the ceremony, we incorporated a toast during our vows (with our beer). NRB had plenty of space for all our activities, space for our caricature artist, games, cocktail hour downstairs and a dance floor upstairs. We rented out the whole venue for 50 guests and there was plenty of room, they can easily accommodate a wedding more than twice our size.

We can’t say enough great things about NRB, the staff all went above and beyond to make sure we and our guests were taken care of the entire night. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue, and a fun wedding reception with great food and drinks served by an awesome staff head down to Nonesuch River Brewing. Talk to Heather, try the food (don’t miss the pretzel bites), create a unique beer with Michael and Brian, it’s a great place to celebrate your special day. We had a few guests who said this was the most fun they had at a wedding. A lot of credit goes to the dedication of the NRB staff, we highly recommend them for your special day.

Nonesuch River Brewing is a gem for a wedding venue! Their event team is top notch. Heather was our wedding coordinator, and she was phenomenal and so responsive. Her positivity, excitement, and attention to detail for our wedding showed through and she was an absolute joy to work with. I never thought wedding planning would be so easy until we met with Heather and the Nonesuch team. She made the entire planning process stress-free and fun! Heather and the event team made sure every detail was perfect for our wedding day.

The venue itself is gorgeous. All the natural wood inside makes it so warm and welcoming. We immediately felt like we were home the second we toured the venue, and we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Every single Nonesuch team member we met with was so nice and treated us like a member of their family.

Our entire day went off without a hitch. Our guests had a blast and raved about the food, the venue, and the special beer we brewed with the Nonesuch team for our wedding! Everyone was so impressed. Heather and the event staff went above and beyond for us, and our day was better than we could have ever imagined. We couldn’t recommend them enough!

We just had our wedding reception at Nonesuch, and we don’t have the words to adequately express how amazing our entire experience has been with the team here. Thank you all so much for creating the reception of our dreams.

From the very beginning, Heather and the team made us feel welcome and at home while we were planning our reception. Heather is so attentive, patient and kind when it came to all of the details we asked for. She consistently communicated with us throughout the entire planning process, going above and beyond helping us have our perfect reception and always easing any anxiety we had. Heather and her and her team pulled off everything we asked for, and then some!

We had a small intimate wedding of about 40 people, and the upstairs loft and patio space was perfect for our group. The food and kitchen team made the best food! Marina also made our “dream cake” better than we could have even imagined! We also worked with Michael to create our own “small batch wedding beer,” and this was such a nice, personalized touch that they offer to wedding couples! Our guests are still expressing how awesome they thought that was, and how much they loved all the food and drinks.

Nonesuch River Brewing was the ideal place for our intimate wedding. From the moment we toured, we fell in love with the exposed wood beams, high-ceilings, and mezzanine. We rented the entire venue, which provided us with plenty of space for our guest count of 72. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming! Heather was our wedding coordinator and helped us through the whole process of planning. She accounted for each small detail from placement of decorations to timing of the event. Heather was patient, kind-hearted, and compassionate! Her and the rest of Nonesuch’s staff, from bartenders to servers, truly were incredible to work with.

The food was amazing! The chefs prepared maple glazed wings, warm pretzel bites, seasonal vegetables, and more mouth watering plates. Nonesuch has an in-house pastry chef as well who created a small cake for us to cut and apple-almond flavored whoopie pies for our guests. On top of this, we were able to collaborate with the brewers and create our own beer. This was an unforgettable experience!

Overall, Nonesuch River Brewing is a hidden-gem. We believe their comfortable atmosphere, thoughtful staff, delectable food, and innovative beer make their small-town brewery an ideal place to celebrate.

We had our wedding reception at this venue in November. It was incredible from the start of the process, food tasting, planning to the finished results. Heather and the entire staff at Nonesuch did an amazing job. Right from the my first inquiry about Nonesuch and having our wedding there Heather was always responsive. We live out of state but that made no difference we did most of the planning via zoom and then had one or two face to face meetings to get everything together. When it came time for our day I had no worries. We didn’t have to ask for a thing the day of our wedding. They were right on top of everything, from the food ( which is always amazing) to the drinks, and even unexpected props for a dance.
All of our guests couldn’t say enough good things about our wedding they were truly impressed. Thank you Heather and Nonesuch staff for doing an amazing job and giving us such an easy and wonderful experience.

We found Nonesuch tin a general search for a venue that would privately accommodate a group of 45 in a pub like atmosphere, for a rehearsal dinner. We had a wonderful experience. Prices were fair, food was exceptional, we had the upstairs mezzanine and the outdoor loft. They set up and broke down all the decorations we brought, cared for us at every turn. We had access to technology and our own music genre's. All the employees were professional and helpful. If you care to have a relaxed atmosphere with a bit of upscale brewery feel, bring your business here.

The staff at Nonesuch truly go above and beyond! The space and location is beautiful (situated close to Maine's most beautiful beaches and a 10 minute ride to downtown Portland). We rented the entire space for our wedding, however, they have many options to beautifully accommodate smaller celebrations. Everyone that we worked with carried out our vision- even better than we could have imagined! They truly tailored everything to our requests. Heather could not have been more attentive, patient and gracious throughout the entire planning process. Jeff and Steve coordinated the freshest food and most delicious drinks for all of our guests. They worked closely with us on crafting the perfect menu for our tastes. Our friends and family have been raving about the food and beers since the wedding! All of our guests also spoke very highly of the wonderful staff! The night of our wedding Ali was there to assist our bridal party throughout the event. She was incredibly intuitive and attended to our every need- whether she was refilling a glass, arranging special plates, or locating the photographer. We appreciated having her take such amazing care of us! We would highly recommend Nonesuch River Brewing Company to anyone looking to book a wedding there. We have seen the space transform for different events and we are certain that no matter what the vision may be for their special day, the staff at Nonesuch River Brewing can make it happen!
