Alexandra was the MVP of our Wedding

Alexandra was the MVP of our wedding. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and has a capable energy, that makes you know you're in good hands. She made everything on the day super smooth, took care of unexpected and day of moments. By the time we had even heard of a hiccup, she had already solved it. Alexandra coordinated the order of our processional, advised on the ceremony and event timeline, helped set up and break down the decor and so so much more. The biggest thing was just her easing the mental load. Having her to help out made it so me, my husband and importantly our mom's could be relaxed and present on the day. If you're debating hiring a day of coordinator, I'd absolutely recommend you do it, and trust Alexandra to bring your wedding day together!

Great day-of coordinator; would recommend to anyone!

We wanted to throw a big wedding (165 people or so) without breaking the bank, so we decided to wrangle the venue, vendors, etc. ourselves and to hire a day-of coordinator to run the event while we were busy being a bride and groom. A friend recommended Alexandra and we couldn't be happier with the result. Alexandra was professional: They read our notes, asked the right questions, and brought our vision to life as if they were involved with it from the start.

Our ceremony was a somewhat theatrical affair involving the whole wedding party, and Alexandra coordinated them to pull off the whole thing without a hitch. Alexandra handled paying the vendors, getting the tables set up in the right place, and probably a hundred other small things we didn't hear about because we were focusing on getting married.

Alexandra was a great fit for our wedding. They're very much LGBTQ+ friendly as well, which was important to us. Their background as a stage manager was exactly what we needed for our ceremony. But in general I would recommend Alexandra for anyone's wedding; they're a great coordinator and they'll get the job done!

Alexandra gave us guidance and space to breathe

My wife and I are type-A planners who live in Google Docs and Trello, so we didn't think we needed a day-of coordinator. Then, two months before the wedding, we showed our family and parties our multi-tab color-coded split-into-30-minute-increments plan, with "captains" for each major sub-event. As their incomprehension and anxiety broke like waves upon their faces, we realized: oh, we didn't need a *planner*, but we do need a *coordinator*.

Enter Alexandra, who was introduced to us by some of those same immediate family. We met to discuss our operationally complex (six venues over three days, four of them on the wedding day itself, including at least one "go from point A to point B and then back to point A") and culturally complicated wedding (a mix of WASPs, recent immigrants, and queer cool Cambervillers). She was able to read through everything we'd done, identify gaps that our tired eyes missed in our own narrative flow, and pull solutions out of her bag of tricks. She quickly mastered the lore and main characters of the family and friend dynamics and proposed strategies for mailing them. Finally, on the day, she kept everything running, whether it was meta-coordinating the captains, remembering where that one thing was stored, or staying late to clean up. We were very grateful to have her watching over everything and would recommend her, particularly (though not only) for those who are doing something nontraditional and need someone who can smash a knuckleball and not just a hanging curve.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
