Nick's Lobster House is a family-owned wedding venue in Brooklyn, New York. In 1955, "Big Nick" was a local fisherman who began selling lobsters from a single shack along Flatbush Avenue. Now, over 60 years later, Nick's family is still selling lobsters and much more in their historic seafood restaurant in the heart of South Brooklyn. Owner, general manager, and executive head chef Dimitrios Karousis brings the same warmth and hospitality to his clients that his family first established all those years ago.

Facilities and Capacity

Nick's Lobster House offers three modern, fully customizable dining areas for wedding receptions of all sizes. The larger of the two indoor dining rooms has a capacity of 130 guests and features floor-to-ceiling windows to illuminate the venue completely and naturally. A smaller room with seating for 50 is perfect for a more intimate, private affair. Likewise featuring a tall wall of windows, this space also faces out on the Mill Basin waterfront for a stunning view of Jamaica Bay. Both dining rooms can be combined to raise the capacity to 180 for a more lavish gathering. Couples looking for an outdoor setting can bring their guests out on the deck to wine, dine, and dance the night away as the sun sets around them.
