Angelina's Ristorante

We had a beautiful ceremony,cocktail hour and reception at Angelina's....the grounds were beautiful. Vincent and his staff were amazing and very attentive and all of the food was delicious.

I would strongly encourage any bride considering Angelina’s to read this carefully before booking.
We chose Angelina’s because we believed we were paying for a high-end, organized, stress-free wedding experience. Unfortunately, our wedding day was anything but that.
We arrived around 10 AM, yet there was essentially no staff available until around noon. The bridal suite food and drinks that were supposed to be prepared were not ready, and instead of having things set up for us, service throughout the morning felt scattered and inconsistent.
The ceremony itself was another major disappointment. We were given verbal directions beforehand, but there was no real rehearsal or proper walkthrough. When the ceremony began, there was confusion about where I was supposed to stand, and after we were married, there was no recessional music playing until I personally had to get someone’s attention. The venue also delayed the ceremony instead of beginning when we had planned.
Our seating chart was extremely important to us. We spent hours carefully deciding where every guest would sit and creating the actual seating display. Despite that, some guests ended up sitting in the wrong seats. We only had six tables, which made this especially frustrating and difficult to understand.
One of the most upsetting issues involved the bar. We paid for an open-bar package, yet several of our guests were still charged for drinks. We were initially told that refunds would be handled. Guests provided proof of the charges, but the situation afterward became confusing and frustrating when we were later told something different from what our guests were telling us.
There was also an uncomfortable interaction involving our photographer, who was publicly told that pictures could not be taken before our grand entrance. The owner eventually stepped in, but there should never have been that kind of tension surrounding someone we hired to document one of the most important days of our lives.
We also had desserts that we specifically asked to have packed up because we knew we would not have time to enjoy them during the reception. Those desserts were never given to us. While the venue later offered to remake them, replacing desserts afterward does not replace the experience we lost that night.
What makes all of this so upsetting is that these were not small details to us. This was our wedding. We spent a significant amount of money, months planning, and countless hours making sure everything was right. On the actual day, instead of being able to simply enjoy it, I found myself having to notice problems, ask questions, correct things, and deal with situations that should have been handled by the venue.
I am not writing this because one tiny thing went wrong. Weddings are complicated, and I understand that no event will ever be absolutely perfect. I am writing this because there were multiple significant issues throughout the day that directly affected our experience.
Future brides deserve to know what our experience was before making such an important and expensive decision.
If you are considering Angelina’s, ask extremely detailed questions about staffing, ceremony coordination, rehearsal procedures, seating, bar charges, photographer access, food and dessert handling, and exactly who will be responsible for managing each part of your wedding day.
For us, the level of organization and service we experienced did not match what we expected from the venue or what we believed we were paying for.

I had an event at this location for the first time this past weekend. I am absolutely appalled at the food and service I received. I had heard such good things about this place, how it is the best place to have an event but expensive. I was willing to pay the money as long as my daughter and family had a good time at her first communion. The night started out with a waiter dropping a tray of champagne glasses at my mother-in-law's feet. Their appetizers were serviced family style which at any other events that I have given mean at least one per person on the table. They served my tables of 10 five rice balls and a dozen bake clams. When I asked for more they got an extra plate of clams and split it into the empty plate that was on the table. They removed plates from guests who were still eating. The fish was cold and such a small portion. They served my cookies and fruit when everyone was leaving, BTW the cookies were stale. I was very unhappy and told them at the end of the night. They offered to give me a gift card and I told them I would never return to this establishment again ! Please save you money and go anywhere else but here. This place is horrible!!!
