Mark was absolutely wonderful. He read the crowd well, kept the dance floor full all night. There were a couple of times when he played something that people weren't into, and he recognized that and moved it quickly back into what our guests were enjoying. It was exactly what we wanted.

He took the time to meet with us before hand, and he got a sense of us as a couple, and what we might like, as well as the "important" songs that we needed played. He also was able to be flexible enough to play for our ceremony as well as the reception at the last minute when our ceremony venue was moved. He had all the songs we wanted to use and got us hooked up.

He also was willing to have us send songs to him. One of the songs we wanted to use was a recording by my father's band, so it was nice that he was willing to play the music we wanted to hear, not just what he had on hand.

All in all, he was one of the best DJs I've ever seen at a wedding!

It has taken me a month and a half to write this review because of how disappointed I was with Mark. It was not what I expected at all, and Mark did not deliver as promised. My husband and I chose Mark for our reception because we felt that we had the best connection with him. He is friendly, and SEEMED like he was genuinely interested in making our reception what we wanted it to be: Fun, a good party, and songs that WE wanted.
Mark uses a website where the client can enter songs they definitely, maybe, and don't want. My husband and I spent a good amount of time entering songs that added up to about only 2 hours. Mark said that the 2 hours worth of music we gave him was "plenty" and said that he could tell what we liked based on that list. That was not the case. There were MULTIPLE floor-clearing instances - over and over and over. Mark did not read the crowd. After playing The Twist, which at least got people on the floor, Mark cleared the floor by playing Unchained Melody. Why have a request system when you're going to play whatever you want? We gave Mark TWO hours of music for a SIX hour reception, but he just played whatever he wanted with a few of our requests sprinkled in.
On more than one occasion, Mark stopped songs in the middle and started new songs. Neither my husband nor I asked him to do this, which means he either took it upon himself to do that, or he was letting guests tell him what to do (which he assured us would not happen).
Mark completely neglected to play a song that I had specifically requested he dedicate to my husband from me. I entered it on the website, wrote "dedicate to groom from bride" and got verbal confirmation during a meeting that he would play it. He did not.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed and frankly embarrassed. Having a fun party for our guests was our biggest priority, and Mark did not deliver. Yes we danced, but we made it a good time despite Mark's shortcomings.
