Nemacolin

Nemacolin is just MAGICAL. We got married August 21, 2021. The grounds are stunning. Our wedding was something out of a movie or a fairytale book. I mean...I had a vision that I presented to the wedding and design coordinators respectively and when I walked into the ceremony and reception that day - I.WAS.BLOWN.AWAY. They took my vision and multiplied it by 100. It far exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely beautiful. Bobbi was our event coordinator and she could NOT have been more awesome. She answered all my stupid questions with a smile and she was there anytime we needed her throughout the planning process. We could not have done it without her. Truly. The design/flower coordinator - he is awesome. His personality is so fun and what he did with our flowers and decor was unbelievable. We customized our dinner menu - umm...WOW. Our food was fantastic! Everything was coordinated the day of. They had a whole team dedicated to us and they made sure everything ran smoothly and it DID. Huge shoutout to my driver, Tim. He was the NICEST!!! He picked me up in a Rolls-Royce that we rented (very reasonable to rent!) and drove me to the ceremony site. The venue is just gorgeous. Our ceremony was at Reflection on property with a reception to follow at Horizon Point. Absolutely breathtaking venue. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you have a vision - they will make it happen above and beyond what you expected. That's what you get at Nemacolin though - no matter what you are there for. We go for long weekends to get away and the service is ALWAYS above and beyond. They have a motto that "if the client can dream it, we can do it". They aren't kidding. You truly cannot choose a better venue. They cover ALL of the bases and we are so grateful we were able to celebrate our wedding day at Nemacolin

Nemacolin’s staff was superb. Their above and beyond attitude made working with them enjoyable. Bobbi & her team ensured they made our vision become a reality. With the utmost professionalism & overall respect, all discussions, contracts, & details were handled in a timely, punctual manner and with alignment. Their aim was to please and they succeeded!
All aspects of our wedding day were truly a pleasure to experience. Flowers, cake, cookies, tablescape, cocktail & wedding ceremony decor were beyond fantastic. With the guidance of both BumbleBurgh & Nemacolin, remarkable memories were made that will always be cherished. Bobbi, Bill, and their team truly are the best! They are the dream team and we couldn’t be happier. They made our magical weekend wedding dreams come true. They were always very professional, patient, and so responsive. Bobbi helped us plan every detail of our entire weekend, from breakfast in the bridal suite and lunch for the groomsmen to late night pizza! She truly made the entire process fun and stress free. This is a luxury resort and they provide nothing but that! Christina was our wedding planner and she was amazing and she gave us the perfect day I will never forget. We have been told by so many guests how smooth our wedding was. There was not one bit of stress on that day and not one thing was out of place....and if it was, I hadn't noticed! Their food is amazing and they also take care of the alcohol, cake, and desserts! We already ate our anniversary cake because it was so delicious and we decided to go back for our anniversary and have them make us another one! We even got to ride around in a Rolls-Royce for our photography session around the resort. My husband is a car lover which they knew and wanted to make it special for him, too! Our guests raved about how well they were treated by ALL of the staff members and we truly felt like royalty the entire weekend. I would relive that day a million times over again!

I can't say enough about the staff at Nemacolin! Our wedding was perfect from beginning to end! As an event planner, I had a hard time passing over the reigns but Bobbi and Lori were so wonderful to work with and everything went off without a hitch. Our guests keep telling us it's the best wedding they've ever been to and that's largely in part due to the venue. The food, drinks, staff, etc. were all top notch. It was worth every penny. Thank you for making our day extra special!

Nemacolin made our Wedding Day the best day of our lives! We couldn't have asked for a better experience to celebrate such a special time with our friends and family. Bobbi Opar is fantastic! And we can't say enough good things about Lori Glisan, the butlers, and extended staff. It will forever be a memory that warms our heart and we look forward to celebrating many anniversaries in the future at Nemacolin!

We order all of oir cakes from here so it was only fitting I have my wedding cake from them. Best kept secret! It as usual was beyond amazing but much less than the local yokels charge.

We had our outdoor ceremony and reception at Nemacolin on 10/10/15. This was my second event that I planned with Bobbi Opar and Lori Gilsan. We had a unique wedding, and both helped make our day a memorable experience we will never forget. Our menu was a little different than your typical wedding food, and we had nothing but rave reviews from all of our guests. Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous, Pastor John Custer, Jeffrey Green Photography, Anthony Sparks Video, DJ AJ were all excellent!! All were suggestions by Bobbi and Lori. I selected this venue with the help of my step father and it was every wish come true. You can customize your experience, but to have the best experience make sure you request to work with Bobbi Opar. She was absolutely amazing!!! She gets everything organized for you. They outsource for their flowers so make sure you use White Swan Flower Shop and say you want to work with Connie!!!! Don't work with Nemacolin's provided lady...Lori. Lori was the only down fall to my experience. She forgets to write things down and asks you the same questions repeatedly. Just skip her all together...USE BOBBI AND CONNIE!!!! and you will have the best experience ever!!! Also, make sure you visit and take a walk around the grounds multiple times...you will find something brand new and exciting every single time!! My guests found things that I didn't even know where there and all my guests had a blast. You won't be disappointed with Nemacolin, it's a dream. Nemacolin is all inclusive so you save money but it's everything from flowers to food to the venue and an unbelievable experience to boot!!! Last comment is a slight downer. I was highly disappointed with how the food tasted on the day of the wedding and how my cake looked. The food was not as good as the food tasting, that was fine for our guests, but I was expecting the amazing flavors from the tasting and it didn't live up to my expectations. i.e. the dreamy creamy mashed potatoes from the tasting where sticky, gooey, and slightly dry on the day of the wedding. And my cake, I was very specific with what I wanted and even drew up a picture of it. I allowed them to take a shortcut by letting them design the cake with the top two tiers in styrofoam...with that in mind I assumed that it would exceed far beyond my expectations, but I ended up with a flat-looking cake. It was suppose to look like 3 xmas presents, but instead looked like 3 flat xmas clothing boxes. so it ended up being half the height I wanted :(

Nemacolin was a dream to work with. If you want service, attention to detail and a fabulous location located near Falling Water in the Laurel Highlands, this is a place for you. They have 3 very different hotels on site and each very unique and special in it's own way. My favorite, Falling Rock, is a boutique hotel whose architecture is reminiscent of Frank Lloyd's Falling Water. This hotel only has 50 rooms and all rooms are butler service. My next favorite is the Chateau which is modeled after the Ritz in Paris and is absolutely posh and beautiful with true European influence and flair. The final hotel is the Lodge which are tudor style rooms and the original part of the property. They are nicely furnished and spacious with beautiful bathrooms. This location provided me everything I needed since I lived 3 hours away. My planner, Bobbi, took care of EVERYTHING! I had my bridal party at their World Class spa for hair and makeup and they even provided brunch that morning. They took care of ordering my flowers based on my describing what I wanted. I got better than what I had expected! My husband found the earrings and matching necklace I ended up wearing on my wedding day (diamonds set in white gold...spectacular) at the jewelry shop, Hardy and Hayes, right in the hotel. They arranged the transportation to get me, the wedding party and parents to and from the church 20 minutes away. The grand ballroom was spacious enough for 200 even though we only had 100 and decorated any way we wanted. They contract with a fabulous company who provided us our DJ, (Jeff Stasko was great) and videography. They hosted a 2 hour tasting that allowed us to try everything offered for the buffet we ended up going with and everyone raved about the food and the cake. The cake was done on site by their pastry chef - the cake was very very good! Overall, our guests were overwhelmed by everything the property had to offer and wished they had made plans to stay longer. Many of our guests are planning return visits to take in everything this resort has to offer. I highly recommend any wedding or special occasion to be held here.
