Nelse is truly the best there is!! She is beyond talented and a true miracle worker, transforming women into the most beautiful versions of themselves! She made me feel like a million dollars on my wedding day. I received so many compliments on my makeup from all of my guests! She is very organized, so kind and very efficient with focusing on making entire bridal parties look amazing!! I worked with Nelse for my wedding trial & on my wedding day, and truly was blown away. Nelse arrived early and managed to do my makeup, along with 9 other ladies, and every single individual looked incredible. She delivered on the exact look each person wanted, and everyone felt gorgeous after getting their makeup done. When choosing vendors for your wedding day, it is imperative to have a team of people who know what they are doing. Nelse helped guide me on the getting-ready schedule, how to prep my skin for the big day, arrived early despite a 2 hour drive from Boston to Chatham, and stayed on schedule while single-handedly doing makeup for 11 (!!) people, a challenge I threw at her very last minute when I decided to have more people get their makeup done. My wedding was a hot, long day, and the makeup was untouched even at the end of the night. Nelse even gifted me the lip color for myself and the bridesmaids to reapply if needed. Everyone looked phenomenal, and even my very picky mother-in-law raved about the makeup.
Nelse also did my makeup for my engagement photos, which looked amazing.
I truly cannot thank her enough and wish I could get makeup done by her every day. She is worth every penny she charges!!

Where do I start! Nelse is amazing, My make up was simply spectacular and received so many compliments. The make up stayed on all night through dancing and everything and never had to touch up once, except for my lip gloss. All my bridesmaid looked amazing and my mother was flawless. Nelse is definitely my go to make up artist! Trust me you will not be disappointed.

I was planning my wedding in Boston from Alabama. Make-up was something that I had left to almost the last minute. I was only going to be in Boston a little over a week in Boston before my wedding. So I really had to nail finding my MUA- or else I'd really be pressed for time in finding someone else. I did a trial with Nelse in her apartment exactly 1 week before my wedding - and as soon as I saw the result, I knew that I had a winner!

On the day of my wedding, she did my make-up in addition to one of my bridesmaids. I asked her for a minor tweak for my lip color and to cover up a eyebrow wax burn - and she did just that. She made me feel so beautiful and balanced my desire for a sultry-but-bridal balanced look. Nelse was so sweet after she finished our make-up. I had gotten a blow-out and curl earlier that morning but it had fallen flat, Nelse grabbed a bottle of hairspray and helped touch-up my hair.

Where should I start!?!? Well, I recently got married (10-13-13) and I had NELSE KARINI as my make up artist. I can’t even express in words what a FABULOUS-AMAZING job she did. Nelse is absolutely FANTASTIC! So professional and perceptive to what I wanted, not judgmental, and to put the cherry on top….she would make amazing helpful suggestions. I did two different looks on my wedding day and she was absolutely amazing with BOTH of them. I was a bit overwhelmed and I let my bridezilla out however, she was calm and so sweet about everything. She made me look and feel beautiful…I don’t want to brag or anything but I truly felt like a Princess!!! I know that no matter what I say does not even come close to describe her talent!!!! Nelse is an amazing make-up artist. She did my trial, rehearsal dinner, and wedding make-up for a very reasonable price. She was prompt and very professional during all the events. She even drove to my hotel in Providence the day of my wedding. My Mother and my Mother in Law also had their make-up done that day and they both loved the way it came out. Thank you Nelse!!!
