My wife's ring was made exactly to my very specific requests, and she has treasured it for years. She is quite a tomboy, and I asked for a certain setting, diamond size and finish that would allow her to wear the ring at all times but not be a hindrance to her active ways. The first edition served her so well and lasted through 17 years of our adventures together. Sadly, she lost it a year back, and was heartbroken not to have that exact ring made to fit her heart to a tee. You were more than accommodating to meet those same unique requests a second time.
