My experience at Nasr Bros. in Denton was very good. My husband searched far and wide for a certain type of ring that I wanted as my engagement ring, and he couldn't find it. He then went looking for someone to custom make it. He visited approximately eight jewelry stores until he found the best price and quality at Nasr Bros. They designed my beautiful engagement ring themselves with my husband's input and direction. When my husband went to pick it up it was a bigger setting than he had originally wanted, but they immediately made a new mold and made it smaller just in time for him to propose to me at Disney World. My ring is one-of-a-kind and I get compliments on it all the time. It was expensive (mainly because of the carat weight and multiple diamonds around it which was my choice), but less expensive than any other place that my husband went. Also, they could not find the cut of stone that I liked in a high enough quality for their standards, so they basically gave me a free upgrade of a different cut that turned out to be absolutely beautiful. Every time I go back into the store they know me and whisk my ring away for a free cleaning. In fact, they offer a complimentary sizing (that normally costs about $60) after you get the ring to ensure satisfaction. My ring has tiny pave diamonds all around it and one happened to fall out (which sometimes happens when a ring has just been sized) and I took it back to them and they replaced it free of charge and checked all the settings of the rest of the diamonds. We also got my husband's wedding band there and it is just what we wanted as well. I think their customer service is excellent, and I would recommend that you at least go check them out for their unique selection and attention to detail.

Went to Nasr in Denton to get opal and diamond earrings to match wife's pendant. Not only was treated extremely rudely by the owner (would not remove his Bluetooth headset while he spoke with me, and clapped me on the shoulder and told me 'don't worry, we can work out a payment plan for you' without ever discussing how I would pay), but the prices were extremely inflated.
Saw an upgrade to wife's wedding ring that I liked...then saw the exact same ring 2 weeks later at Zales in the mall for less. Less in the MALL?? Yikes.

I refuse to do business with this store under any circumstances.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. My fiance purchased my engagement ring here and was totally taken advantage of. They overprice everything. I noticed a few things that needed touch-ups, so when I took it back in they tried to fix it several times and finally told me that was just the way the ring was supposed to be. When it came time to shop for a matching wedding band, Nasr tried to make a mold of my engagement ring (THE ONE THEY SOLD US) to make an identical wedding band. They said that they didn't have anymore like it, and they couldn't order any more. After making the mold, the band came back looking NOTHING like my engagement ring band. So, I finally gave up. We took my diamond to another jewelry store, had them remove it from the diamond band. We had to purchase a new engagement band and setting to have my diamond placed in, and also purchase a second matching wedding band. Together, these higher carat bands were MUCH cheaper than the tiny carat weight of the original band we purchased at NASR. They don't believe in customer service. All they care about it getting their money, and then they are done with you!
