Cassie, Bobbie and Shawna traveled all the way up to Sugarloaf Mountain on May 29, 2021 to make us feel beautiful for my long-anticipated (2 venues, 4 dates and 1 pandemic) wedding but my relationship with Cassie and the Navina team starts long before that day! Cassie has been doing my hair for over 10(!!) years! The first time she ever styled it for a formal event was in June of 2011 for prom with a boy who I would not yet admit to be my boyfriend who would eventually become my husband. Not only are Cassie, Bobbie and Shawna incredibly talented, but they are also so much fun, beyond kind and make you feel like family. I am forever grateful that they are able to be part of not only our wedding but so many important life moments!

Naviina was great! They did hair and make up for the whole bridal party and moms. They did a fantastic job and I felt stunning. They were very accommodating even with a last minute change. We highly recommend them for hair and make up for Southern Maine weddings!

Lauren and Amy came to Village by the Sea and did hair and makeup for my summer 2019 wedding. My bridesmaids and I were very pleased and got so many compliments. I requested my makeup to look natural, as I typically do not wear makeup, and Lauren did a fantastic job. I did not feel like I had pounds of makeup on and felt absolutely beautiful. I had an updo and even with my thick hair, Lauren was able to create a masterpiece! Amy did bridesmaids hair and even did a blow-dry and style for my mother-in-law. I highly recommend a bridal trial, this eased my worries and allowed me to connect with Lauren before the big day. I was extremely pleased with my services through Naviina Salon.

To hair trial or not to hair trial? It seems excessive. Or it did to me. We eloped in October of this year. I was on the fence about getting my hair done and definitely on the fence about doing a trial for it but I can honestly say I am SO GLAD I did both and had it done the day of onsite at the inn we stayed at—Gazebo Inn in Ogunquit—also wonderful. I liked what I read about Naviina Salon online and the cool hairstyles they had posted for weddings. I scheduled with them and coordinated with Jen. She was very accommodating as I had some uncertainties about day due to weather and our elopement plans. She completely worked with me and helped make it so much easier. Lauren was my hairstylist and she was TERRIFIC! At the trial, we tried 3 looks (she was so patient and I am grateful because I ended up going with the last one). Once she started that one, I knew that felt right. I am so glad I did the trial and got comfortable with it and with Lauren. We knew each other and she knew my hair and so the day of was that much more relaxed. I knew what to expect and it was everything I hoped for. She did such a great job. I wanted it to be distinct from any other day and that’s why I decided to have it done and it truly added to the signature of the day. Lauren was relaxed and listened and was just wonderful to work with and excellent at her job. Thumbs up!!!

Naviina Salon was recommended to me by our wedding planner, Tim, at the Nonantum Resort. With my sister having a one month old baby, I knew it was going to be difficult to travel to a salon the morning of the wedding so when researching salons "on location" was a preference...and Naviina offered that. The best part of using Naviina Salon for my wedding day was two of the stylists, Deb and Hillary, traveled to my house to get me and my bridal party ready! Having Deb and Hillary at our house made the morning so much less stressful. We were able to have some snacks, a mimosa, and relax. Deb and Hillary were amazing!! Not only did they work their magic but we had fun together. Deb even helped with a little makeup when we were running behind! Above and beyond what she needed to do.

I highly recommend Naviina for your wedding day! We had a beach wedding this Spring and I was lucky to find that they provide on-site service on Sundays (the day of our wedding). My hair styling and make-up were done by Jasmin - she is a treasure and made the whole experience relaxing and fun. The salon was very attentive to my needs and worked with me to ensure that everything went smoothly. My bridesmaids, maid of honour and I also had our nails done at the salon the day before. Everything turned out well and they did a fantastic job. A great thing about having your make-up done at this salon is that they use Aveda products (which I understand to be "natural" products that are better for your skin and the environment). I was so fortunate to find this Salon at Wells Beach!!

Working with Naviina was awesome! I felt so lucky to work with a salon on my wedding day that I have been frequenting since they opened. They were professional, incredibly responsive to questions and scheduling before the big day, super fun and did great work on all the ladies that needed it!

I'm so glad I found Naviina Salon to do my wedding makeup. Kendra made us all feel comfortable and really listened to what my bridesmaids and I wanted for the day. She was also able to travel to our venue. The makeup was beautiful and lasted all night.

Very nice, professional staff. Amazing job on my lashes. I was unable to do a trial since it was a destination wedding but I opted to try airbrush for the first time at the stylist recommendation. I did not find that it looked, lasted or covered any better than foundation. If your prefer the radiant, dewey look - foundation is the way to go. I requested a soft romantic look and brought a couple pictures. The stylist suggested bold eyes were good for pictures but I felt like my makeup ended up looking too dark and harsh. My hair was also a disappointment. I wanted a soft romantic loose updo but due to the high wind that day I ended up with a head full of hairspray which is exactly what I said I did not want. So overall I did not look like the pictures provided or the best version of myself. I think a trail is a must so that was the biggest problem but I also should not have settled for anything less than what I wanted to look like.
