Paula was the perfect choice for my wedding day. Everyone looked absolutely stunning, all day. She was accommodating with a 5am start time, and my makeup stayed on well past 8pm that night. Highly recommend. She wants you to look like you, just enhanced, which is exactly what I envisioned for my wedding day!

Paula Young is fantastic! As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, I was really nervous about finding a makeup artist who understood that I wanted to wear makeup for my wedding but I also wanted a "natural look" so that I felt comfortable. I had two disappointing trials before finding Paula, but I'm so glad I kept searching and found her. Paula truly listened to me and understood what I was looking for. I was so happy after my trial with her. She and her assistant did the makeup for my 4 bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, and me - everyone loved it! I felt beautiful but also comfortable with the makeup. I highly recommend Paula Young, you won't be disappointed!

Paula Young is fabulous. She took her time with each of my bridesmaids' and enhanced their natural beauty without "over doing it". I received a number of compliments, not only on my own makeup, but that of my wedding party. She showed up the morning of my wedding, ready to work! I would use her again and strongly recommend her services.

I hired Paula to do my makeup for my wedding and she did a fabulous job.  I wanted to look like myself, just enhanced and Paula delivered.  During the trial, she took her time and showed me what I looked like at different stages.  She even showed me the completed make-up in different types of lighting which was very helpful.

Paula came to my house on my wedding day to do my makeup as well as my Maid of Honor.  Paula is kind, warm and very calming, which is important on your wedding day.  The makeup looked wonderful and was just as perfect at 10PM as it was at 10AM that morning (except for the lipstick of course).  It looked just as lovely in person as it did in pictures and many people commented on my makeup when they saw the wedding photos.  She even suggested the hair stylist I ended up using who worked miracles with my hair (or lack there of).  Paula is a true professional and I highly recommend her.

I had a trial with Paula and did not book her services as a result of how the trial went. She bills herself as a "natural look" makeup artist, but that isn't accurate. She started by putting what she called "the minimum amount of makeup" on me and said we could add from there. The minimum amount was already darker and heavier than I wanted. She matched the foundation to the tone of my darkest freckles rather than to my regular skin tone because she thought the freckles needed to be covered up. And the eye makeup was black. She actually argued with me when I said that it was too dark. Not impressed.
