The National Packard Museum has called its current location next to W.D. Packard Music Hall, home since 1999. It pays special tribute to brothers William Doud Packard and James Ward Packard, who founded the Packard Motor Car Company and Packard Electric.The National Packard Museum makes its unique contribution to the public by collecting, preserving and interpreting Packard history, artifacts and vehicles. Its mission is to preserve the Packard Legacy and recognize Packard's influence in transportation history through interaction with the community and outreach programs. As a non-profit organization The Museum has a commitment of service to the public.
