The Place at 534 handled everything from start to finish when it came to our day. I brought pictures from Pinterest to our planning appointments and they made our dream a reality. The day ran PERFECTLY and we continue to gush over how amazing this venue is. Audrey, Doug, Marcy, Jess, and the rest of the staff make you feel as you are a part of their family. I was able to soak up every single moment from start to finish on our day because they made sure everything went according to our vision. If you are looking for a wedding venue, you will be disappointed if you do not check this place out! If I had to redo our day, I wouldn’t change a single thing and that is thanks to The Place at 534!

By far the best decision me and my NOW husband have made. The Place at 534 is so well organized. The day went by smooth with no bumps in the road. The vendors they offer with their packages are the absolute best! I will be recommending them to every to be married couple I know.

Being an event planner for a living, I was very particular when touring venues for our big day. As soon as my now husband and I stepped foot on the property and met the Place's staff, we fell in love. This venue is not just a venue, they are people with a passion for creating magic and celebrating love. Every single detail of our day was carefully thought out even despite a global pandemic looming overhead. We met with Doug, Audrey, and Amanda three times prior to our big day. Our meetings consisted of us sharing our (mostly my) Pinterest boards and every detail in the photos came to life. Every detail from florals, centerpieces, and table numbers to seating charts, COVID compliance procedures, decorations and food. The vendors they recommend are truly an extension of the venue. We used their suggested photographer, DJ, cake designer, and caterer. Everyone was so pleasant to work with. On the day of our wedding, everything that happens in a movie seemed to happen. Groomsmen didn't have pants, a global pandemic loomed overhead, it had rained, wedding crashers arrived and not once did the venue let us lose sight of what truly mattered - our marriage and celebration. Amanda communicated wonderfully and compassionately about everything; even celebrating with us when the missing pants arrived seconds before the ceremony. She even coordinated our wedding ON her birthday. Audrey walked with my dad throughout the ceremony location to ensure that the grounds weren't too wet. Doug made our dream florals come to life. This venue exceeded EVERY expectation I had set for our big day. On our flight to Mexico for our honeymoon, my husband and I said that we can't wait to have a vowel renewal there one day in the future. If you're on the fence about this venue, hop over and commit because your day will be the one you've dreamed of since you were a little girl.

My husband and I were just married at The Place at 534 this past July and it was nothing short of amazing. Audrey, Doug, Amanda, all of the staff. They were the BEST. We cannot thank them enough. From start to finish, the day was absolute perfection. Jordan and I felt so special and it was all because of them. I couldn’t have imagined a better day nor do I think we could have experienced something so amazing at any other venue!!! Planning a wedding during a pandemic was not something that I’d ever imagined I’d have to do but Doug, Audrey, and Amanda made sure that the day, as well as all of the planning leading up to it, was as normal as possible. I could not be more grateful for that. Their staff handled the protocols so well and you would have never known that they were dealing with rules and regulations changing on a daily basis. Everything was just PERFECT! YOU GUYS TRULY ARE AMAZING !!!!

There are not enough stars to rate The Place at 534!!! From the first time we met Audrey and Doug we knew that everything would be perfect for my daughters wedding. Through all of the changes in the last two years due to deployment and covid they were absolutely awesome!! The venue is stunning and immaculate. From the drive in, the bridal suite, the ceremony sites, the pavilion and the inside area!!! Their preferred vendors (Salus Media, Sweet Treats, The dj Dallas) were outstanding and went above and beyond! Don’t let the price deter you .... they are worth every penny and more!!! Thank you to everyone who made Tara and Jeff’s day so amazing and memorable!!!

I don't have one bad thing to say about The Place at 534. Since it was the very first venue I contacted, I will admit that I was a bit annoyed when I asked for a price and was asked to come see the venue and discuss in person. After going for a tour and discussing price, I immediately knew that it was where I wanted to have our wedding. My husband (then fiance) tried to get me to look at other venues but I refused. Doug and Audrey made the whole process seamless. If the price seems like a sticker shock, go get quotes for all the individual vendors and compare. Aside from cost, by choosing The Place, when we had to reschedule twice, every vendor was contacted by The Place and I didn't have to worry about a single thing! They were wonderful to work with through a deployment and pandemic. The planning meetings were fun and it was made clear that they would do everything possible to make all my wedding dreams come true. After 3 years, we finally got to have our wedding this past weekend. Everything went as smooth as possible, and if anything went wrong, I never knew about it because it was handled immediately. Everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and served hot, unlike many other weddings I've been to. The cake was moist and full of flavor. The decorations were beautiful. I will recommend The Place to every engaged couple I come in contact with! Go for a tour, you won't be disappointed!

My son Gavin and his bride Madison used this venue for their June 2020 wedding-Yes! Covid 19 season. I have to say the venue did an awesome job to avoid the impact of the pandemic on the wedding. They worked great with Madison and Gavin to bring their dream alive while keeping the need for safety as a high priority. If they can do what they did during a pandemic and still created a happy and satisfied bride and groom I am positive anyone who hires them will not be disappointed! Our daughter chose The Place at 534 for her wedding and it could not have been more perfect. Owners and staff were professional at all times. They somehow personalized the wedding to fit our daughter and son-in-law to a T. The wedding party dressing rooms were comfortable and provided plenty of space for relaxing before the wedding. They chose to be married in front of the barn outside. The flowers and decorations were just what they wanted. The main event hall had more than enough room for the approximate 110 to 120 people in attendance. The hall was beautifully decorated. We are 100 percent satisfied and would recommend this venue.

The Place at 534’s venue all inclusive package was just what we were looking for. My fiancé and I chose our date and put down the security deposit. It was at that point, our entire experience with them changed. We started to not getting responses from our texts and calls. When we did finally get a response, it was to tell us that it was not our time and they would reach out to us when they were ready. But in the mean time per contract we were suppose to keep sending them money. Every time we sent them money, it was a fight to get a receipt. When my fiancé said something about it, Audreys response was “I don’t sit at a desk all day, I wish that was my job”. The receipts we did receive were wrong. They always had part of the balance due for cake and flowers. Which we were using a family members business for both. That was another issue. They do not like you using outdoor vendors and make everything extremely difficult and dodge questions they needed to make my vision happen. There were so many things that we were told would be included but we ended up getting up charged for. They always said if there was anything we wanted or needed they would take care of it but then they would turn around and say no we don’t do that. For example, they do not do a champagne toast even though we were the ones bringing in the alcohol. Mind you, this was all before COVID happened. Once the pandemic hit, things only got worse. They started out, denying that our June wedding would be effected and things would just blow over. When the state shut down Audrey flat out told us that regardless they would under no circumstance refund us our money but they said they would assign us a date later in the year. Yes, they did offer to assign us a date 6 weeks after our original date but we did not feel comfortable taking another date when things haven’t changed with the virus. We have a lot of older people that would attend and when we shared our fears of their lives being at risk, Audrey said that was our choice. If we chose to reschedule for next year it would cost us more due to lost funds for this year. She was so cold and callous and even stated “All I am worried about is keeping my business from going under”. After that conversation, they sent us a text saying that they would no longer be responding to messages at that time. We were left just hanging with no solution. All we knew was that we wanted to keep our family safe and we choose to cancel. They refused for refund us over $10,000 because per contract they could cancel all events for no reason and not have to refund anything.
