Natalie is amazing. We booked both our engagement shoot and our wedding day photos with her, and we are so glad that we did! When we met her in May for the engagement photos, we knew it was a good fit. Neither of us had ever been professionally photographed before, so we were a bit nervous going into it, but Natalie made us feel instantly comfortable and at ease. She gives easy, natural direction, and the photos all turned out gorgeous. On our wedding day, Natalie was very timely and prepared. We never had to find her to ask her to be somewhere - she was everywhere she needed to be, and at all the right moments! When our guests saw our photos, people complimented not only how awesome the photos were, but also on how stealthy Natalie was as a photographer - she shoots awesome photos without anyone noticing, which is exactly what we wanted! She managed to capture all the details of our day happening naturally. Also, the wedding party loved her! We had so much FUN taking silly photos in the bridal suite, and she even braved the cold MN winter to take some cool outdoor photos before the ceremony. Our ceremony was “in the round”, which I imagine is a more challenging setup to photograph, but Natalie didn’t bat an eye. Also, her turnaround time for getting us our photos was incredible, and they are very easy to share with friends and family! She’s definitely an expert. We highly recommend booking Natalie as a photographer. She’s the first place we’ll look for our future photography needs!

Natalie's work is incredible, and she is incredible to work with. I was very particular when it came to picking out a photographer, and I fell in love with Natalie's work right away. She was so fun to work with during our wedding and was great at getting the whole wedding party to relax and laugh and be silly. Her candid shots are some of my favorites of the day. She got amazing and unique shots of everyone, and made our wedding day look even more beautiful that we remembered it. Our venue even had some tricky lighting, with candles and fireplaces and old antique fixtures, and Natalie rose to the challenge and got some absolutely breathtaking shots. I can't stop looking at them!

Natalie is amazing. My husband and I fell in love with her photography style when we looked through her images online, but when we met her in person it really sealed the deal. Natalie is so sweet and happy and calm. Those are all perfect traits to have in your photographer on such a stressful and crazy day. Natalie was never pushy or frazzled, she went with the flow. She was the perfect balance of documentary style photography, where she just observed the day as it unfolded, but didn't hesitate to jump in with some instruction and suggestions when she noticed something that would make a beautiful image.
My husband and I are on the shy side and were not looking forward to being the center of attention. Although we wanted photos of all the moments of our wedding day, we didn't want to feel like we were being followed around by paparazzi with cameras in our faces at all times. Natalie was so stealthy and discreet that we hardly knew she was there. When we looked through all the amazing candid photos we couldn't believe how she seemed to be catching every moment and yet, at the wedding, we didn't feel watched.
Every detail of Natalie's work is so thoughtful, from the small things she photographs like butterflies and flowers, to the care she puts in packaging the final USB of images. With Natalie you are getting professional experience, an amazing personality, and a high quality product. I HIGHLY recommend her! She is worth every penny.

I would highly recommend Natalie to do any of my photography. We got married in a "not so nice hotel" and I thought it would be impossible to find some where to take beautiful photos..I was wrong. Across the street was an open area with trees and a small river and she made the photos beyond anything I can imagine. She has a great eye! You won't be disappointed!

My fiance and I hired Natalie Champa Jennings after I met her at a bridal fair. Her shots were different then any other wedding photography I'd seen. Working with her leading up to the wedding was a breeze. The day of the wedding was so relaxed and even when we were behind schedule, Natalie was super calm and relaxed. She communicated with me the entire day about what she would doing next and where I should be. When we got the pictures back (which were done really quickly!) we had an absolute ball going through them. She managed to photograph the entire day in a way that captured everyone's personalities, the big moments and the small ones. Her photo-journalist approach created a continuity that was easy to follow, so even the friends and family who couldn't attend the wedding felt the energy of the day.

I loved working with Natalie. She was easy to be around, she had good instincts and is extremely creative.
