Naomi photographed our elopement in Maui in June 2021, and she made it a truly unforgettable experience. We chose Naomi because her portfolio is just stunning--I loved how she combines wide shots to show the landscape around the couple as well as close-up shots to highlight all the details from the day. Starting with our introductory conversation, Naomi was very easy to talk to and she struck the perfect balance between wanting to accommodate our vision but also offering guidance on things we knew nothing about. We had several planning conversations and email exchanges that made me feel like we were in excellent hands. On the day of, we met Naomi and she provided us with clear and creative direction--neither of us had been professionally photographed before but Naomi made the process feel very light and comfortable. When the day was over, it was sad to say goodbye as we had really gotten along with her, and she made the day even more fun and special. We received a sneak peek of approx. 20 photos about 1 week afterwards and they were even better than we had imagined. Several weeks later, we received the remainder of our collection and we floored--so beautiful and well curated. Thanks, Naomi for giving us the most incredible wedding photos I could imagine.

Naomi is an absolute pleasure to work with and made our wedding day in Maui feel so magical with the photos she captured! I fell in love with Naomi's style of photography and could not wait for her to capture our wedding and day after! Working with her was so easy, she made everything so comfortable and was the sweetest person ever! When we got our photos back I could not have been more thrilled with her work, the images were more incredible than I could have every imagined. THE GOOD
Because our wedding was such a small affair (him, me, Naomi, and our officiant), I didn't want to deal with/pay a wedding planner. That complicates things when you're planning a wedding from afar – I didn't know what Maui had to offer in terms of venues, who's great to work with, and who's not.

Naomi talked me some great location options, asked questions about us as a couple to get a sense of things we might like, and ended up helping us choose a stunning location. She gave really helpful vendor recommendations, and hooked us up with our AMAZING officiant.

THE GREAT
Naomi is very easy to work with, approachable, and friendly. She puts you at ease and makes you feel relaxed. Both my partner and I felt very awkward on camera (especially during our engagement session with a local photographer), but Naomi knew to keep us moving and the resulting pictures are both stunning beautiful AND capture our personalities.

Plus, she was down for whatever we threw at her! What a champ!

THE UNFORGETTABLE
The pictures. Wow. Absolutely worth every penny. (And it isn't even that many pennies! Her service costs are on par with other photographers on the island.)

When I was searching for photographers for our intimate wedding, I felt stressed and overwhelmed. I was nervous about finding the right photographer within my budget. I wanted more of a photojournalist... someone who could tell our story & document the day. Then I found Naomi. During the entire process and the day itself, I felt confident in her skill & ability... and she has a gift for setting people at ease, such an enjoyable personality. I was planning an elopement to Maui from Florida. I saw some pictures online from a Catholic destination wedding and loved them. That particular photographer was not available and one of the photographers she recommended was Naomi. I figured she wouldn’t recommend her if she wasn’t good right? Well, she was not wrong. From the moment I sent that first email to Naomi she was responsive, attentive and answered all of my questions. I can’t tell you how important this is when planning a wedding from so far away. She called me to walk through what I was looking for. I wanted the ‘getting ready’ photos, the traditional church photos and of course the outside couples photos. Naomi did not disappoint. She was on time, very laid back and so easy to work with. Everything flowed very naturally. She guided us through everything with such ease. I wanted the couples photos to capture the beauty of Maui. We just did what she told us and the pictures are amazing. She would wait for the perfect shot like waiting for a wave to roll in or making sure my bouquet was positioned just right. Even if I asked to take a particular photo she made sure we took it and offered her expertise to make it a great shot. All of the photos are beautiful. She is a true professional and her work is evidence of it. I highly recommend Naomi to anyone looking for a top notch photographer. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
